The Ridge House-Modern Chalet! Spectacular Slope Views

Can you say "slope views"? Spectacular views of Sunday River slopes from this spacious mountain ridge chalet. with wall to wall windows facing the slopes, the living area and kitchen stretches the entire length of the house. Daylight basement with pool room and bunk rooms.
Hot tub and fire pit are great for relaxing after a day on the slopes or a hike on one of the many trails in the area.

This home is located on a quiet road about eight miles from Bethel village dubbed Maines most beautiful mountain village where you will find restaurants, shops, movie theatre, bowling alley, walking paths, and some great mountain biking. You'll be only four miles from the Sunday River Ski Resort, allowing you to grab your skis and be on the slopes in no time. Only 5 miles from Sunday River Golf Club, one of the most beautiful golf courses in New England. Grafton Notch State Park is just a short drive away, where you'll find miles of backcountry hiking trails through some of Maine's most spectacular terrain as well as family friendly walks to caves and waterfalls.

Of course, we wouldn't blame you if you choose to spend all your time relaxing in this spectacular three-story home. A wall of windows looks out onto the mountains and provides a stunning backdrop for every activity, from a friendly game of pool to soaking in the private hot tub or simply sipping a mug of coffee out on the deck.

Please Note: This home is located in a mountainous area with a steep driveway. A 4x4 vehicle may be required in the winter months.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunday River. The views from the family room/kitchen were spectacular. Nothing better than watching fireworks on a Saturday night from the comfort of this home as they launch from the ski slopes. Well-equipped kitchen provided ample supplies for cooking large meals. Hot tub and fire pit created an outside experience during the winter. Had a great time, thank you for your hospitality!

The property was absolutely stunning! We had a fantastic time. Our favorite spot was sitting on the deck enjoying the gorgeous views and our pup enjoyed sunning herself, too! The kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil we needed. I would recommens this home to anyone!

Family time

We had a truly memorable 8-day family vacation at this beautiful home! Our group included grandkids, daughters, and their husbands—traveling from all over the country—and this was the perfect place for us to come together.The house itself is stunning, with gorgeous views that greeted us every morning. The hot tub was a favorite spot for relaxing in the evenings, and the fire pit quickly became a nightly tradition—roasting marshmallows, telling stories, and simply enjoying each other's company over s'mores.We especially appreciated how the home offered both spacious common areas for gathering and plenty of cozy spots for quiet moments—whether it was reading a book, having a heart-to-heart chat, or just soaking in the scenery.Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged for families. This house provided the perfect setting for making memories, and we’re so grateful for the time we shared here. Sunday River Fun

The house was amazing, the views spectacular. Very well equipped, had everything we needed! The hot tub was wonderful, gas fireplace lovely, All the TV's worked great, outdoor decks and seating just right. ! We'd love to return again on our next visit. So happy the property was dog friendly. Thankyou!

Perfect house with amazing views

Stayed for three nights in September and loved every thing about the house. Breathtaking views, tastefully decorated and high end. Everything was extra clean and spotless, highly recommend staying here over any of the other properties in the area. Management was on top of everything they really know what they are doing!

All four of us really enjoyed our stay.

First thing. When we pulled into the driveway the curb appeal was off the charts. Better than the pics on Vrbo! Views, Views, Views. Sunday River in all it's glory where breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!! Tv's in every room, Great internet that actually work very well with no issues! The Kitchen was very well equipped. We needed nothing as far as cooking utensils and appliances! I ordered wood and propane for delivery. They deliveries when with in 1.5 hrs of ordering and the prices where the same prices on the street. We had a Bees nest issue. I texted them and within 1 Hr. the issue was taken care of!! What a great experience! We would stay here again!!

Awesome property

House is big, plenty of beds and awesome views. The hotub was easy to figure out. The only suggestion is be sure to plan on bringing food to grill. All restaurants have very limited hours of operation with most closed by 9pm.

The best Sunday River getaway!

This is by far our favorite spot for a family ski getaway at Sunday River. The management team is very communicative and this house never disappoints in all aspects. We look forward to coming back soon!!

Gorgeous views, and beautiful home

Overall, our stay was fantastic. The property has plenty of space for larger groups although we came with a smaller group. I the views are really that good! The only downside is that the cleaners that came in before we started our trip didn’t do a good job. Don’t wanna knock ownership too much on this one, but the property simply just needs a new cleaner

Amazing family weekend

This place was absolutely beautiful.The view was breathtaking. photos online don’t do it justice . The house was equipped with everything I needed to cook all our meals while the kids played downstairs on the pool table. Hot tub outside was perfect to relax after a long day. The floors were heated too which was pretty cool.definitely will be coming back for sure the kids and my husband keep talking about what a amazing time they had up in Maine. We are from Boston so getting away from the city is always needed. Definitely a home away from home. Felt very comfortable the house has a very cozy feel to it. can’t wait to go back and make s’mores this time. Highly recommend this property beautiful house with easy check in. Great for big groups or families. We loved the welcome gifts the maple syrup and coffee was the best we ever had thank you forgot to buy coffee on the way up huge life savor. Will be booking again soon even during off season. it was really nice to be able to bring our dog with us on the trip . we never travel without our frenchie and it can be challenging trying to find a property that allows pets. If you are looking for a home away from home this is it. Thanks again for having us in your beautiful home we will be back soon. Roca Family

Winter stay

My extended family and I stayed in this property over a long weekend. The house slept many people, although only two rooms had queen/king beds for couples. The rest were twins, which was accurate in the description. The location was great for the outdoor activities we wanted to do. Where this property fell short was the upkeep of the property. The overall cleanliness of the property could have been better. The kitchen appliances need some fixing to make them work better. If you are looking to host a large meal there isn’t very enough plates and utensils for more than 6 or 7. We had a snowfall while we were there and were pleased with the plowing, however no one came to shovel and it was very icy all over the walkway and deck. Overall for the price of this property, I would rent elsewhere.
