Our stay was amazing. Starting off with great communication from the owner, Suzanne. Clear directions provided to find the house, along with an easy check-in process. The check-in binder provides a ton of clear info regarding the property, amenities, and check-out process. Also includes helpful safety tips for the surrounding area which I recommend reviewing. You're on a NC mountain so always a chance of all amenities. Easy check-in pro they even had the hot tub water changed and heated by the time we arrived.

We had everything we needed right at the cabin. Big pile of split wood for the wood stove ready. We were able to see a bear, private, good parking, gracious, responsive host, easy to get to town, nice rds to travel, great mt cabin w stunning view!

Mountain retreat

We had a lovely stay at the property. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The back patio was a great place to relax, we even saw a bear! Our little one did have a hard time keeping entertained at the house, but with so much to do near by we would recommend.

Great cabin in the mountains

Our stay at Sasha's cabin was wonderful. We stayed in late February 2024 and it was a very clean, quiet, and spacious mountain getaway. Absolutely cozy little spot a short drive from Asheville. The hot tub is icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Great place for our Mother-Daughter Weekend

Great location and fairly easy to get to. Cabin is clean and cozy. We saw 4 bears off the deck, so they are active. Hot tub was clean and filled. Kitchen semi-stocked (would have liked to have some spray Pam in the cabinet though). Beds were comfy. The home stayed warm during our late November visit, which was great. The check-out instructions are more work than most STR (requiring the dishwasher to be run and emptied before leaving at 10 am - was stressful and stripping the beds, towels and bringing them all to the laundry room area).

Thanksgiving visit

This place was perfect for us! Inviting, comfortable and beautiful views. We came from NY to celebrate Thanksgiving w our adult children who live in NC and SC. Drive through Smokey Mountains to visit Gatlinburg, walked around Asheville, did some walks and hikes. Spent a day at Biltmore Estates and spent Thanksgiving day cooking, watching football and enjoying the views from the living room and deck. We all agreed the house was a great find!

Wonderful mountain house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our annual girls weekend trip! The house was well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. Can’t beat the view either! We loved how private and quiet the property is but also that it’s perfectly situated close to restaurants and a grocery store in Fairview and only a short drive to Asheville. Suzanne was great to work with before and during our trip. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Wonderful fall foliage and views, however not our definition of luxury

We loved the views. The beautiful fall foliage, or “rainbow forest” as my daughter would call it, was wonderful to see. We loved having the high ceilings in the house, as well as the floor to ceiling windows. We enjoyed the hot tub once, however the water had a strange and unpleasant smell, so that was unfortunate. Also there was an error code SL on the hot tub and the temp wouldn’t get above 92. I googled the issue and eventually learned that SL meant the hot tub was in sleep mode. I wish this would have been addressed in the binder with all the home instructions, as we used the hot tub at a cold temperature until we could figure out. Unfortunately I wouldn’t call this cabin luxury as it is described on VRBO. To me, luxury would be at least stone countertops and a spotless place, as well as a light fixture and not just a light bulb in the living room. We have stayed in many luxury rentals, and this one wasn’t one of them. The place felt a little dated to us, but maybe we just have a different expectations when something is described as luxury. When we arrived to the house it has a stale smell. We noticed the countertops behind the sinks had green soilage. When going to shower, one of the towels had orange (I assume make up) stains all over it. When we closed the door to the downstairs restroom, there were blobs of dust. Generally, the place didn’t meet our standards of clean, which I hate to say. I would reevaluate your cleaning company, as your place has a lot of potential!

Total privacy! Extreme quiet!

Property matches listing description. Though in a private development, properties are well spaced. At night there were absolutely no lights visible from other properties. Really great comfortable mattress in master bedroom. Large hot tub. Wonderfully serene evenings. We enjoyed the deck morning, noon and night. The cabin is very comfortable and inviting. Location is convenient. 17 miles to Chimney Rock, 10 to Blue Ridge Parkway and 14 to downtown Asheville. Roads into the property, while steep, are all paved and well maintained. We ate all but two meals at the cabin. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and the charcoal grill is fairly new and cooks well. Host was very responsive to an inquiry regarding operation of the hot tub. Very pleasant! Can accommodate six people very comfortably with 3 private bedrooms but if you are looking for a totally private place to enjoy as a couple S

Wonderful Property

We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this was our favorite house so far. It was extremely clean and neat, had many cozy touches that made us feel at home, it was close enough to things that made it convenient, but was far enough from neighbors so we could enjoy some privacy. We enjoyed the wildlife in the neighborhood and the hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking or exploring.

Lovely, relaxing cabin in the woods

We stayed here for 4 nights with another couple. It’s was perfectly outfitted, had everything we needed in the kitchen. There are gorgeous views. (You can’t see any other houses from here.). The hot tub was wonderful, and it got cool enough to light a fire in the wood stove. It was all wonderful. Additionally, Asheville was only 15-20 minutes away. I highly recommend!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

The Sasha Cabin was exactly what we were looking for in an Asheville stay. Beautiful views, spacious house, hot tub! Our kids loved the big window at the back of the house, driving up and down the mountain to get to the cabin, and being only 15 minutes from downtown and Biltmore. Would recommend and visit again!

Beautiful Place

The unit was perfect for us. We each had a bedroom and lots of space to have dinner and socialize. The drive up and down the mountain (we are Floridians) was exciting for 2 of us. One person gets car sick, so she didn’t enjoy it much. We managed to get back before dark every night so we didn’t have to drive it in the dark. All in all, it was a great stay with a beautiful view. We love the Asheville area and would be delighted to share our beautiful home with you. We constantly update the home in 2024 new 55 inch OLED smart TV, new dining chandelier, new exterior paint. 2024 new well pump and filter system.. 2024 new hot tub cover. 2022 we installed a new central heat and air system and new stainless steel fridge stove and microwave. in 2021 we added a luxury real leather recliner sofa. 2023 fresh paint in Great room kitchen and hallways. 2024 August trees topped to expand the views

Why book with us? Sasha's Asheville luxury cabin is a glorious place to enjoy nature yet to be within 15 minutes of Asheville

Unlike others listed on VRBO our home is in a nice upscale area. We are in a restricted community of over 500 acres so you know there will not be any unsightly homes or highway noise nearby. We are grandfathered in this means there a few other homes in the community that are vacation rentals..no noisy neighbors....just peace and quiet! At Sasha's cabin you can enjoy the majesty of the beautiful mountains, enjoy seeing humming birds hovering by the house. No loud traffic noise here! Just the sound of the babbling creek that adjoins the property. come to Sasha's Asheville Cabin to relax and leave rejuvenated! All this within 15 to 20 minutes drive to Asheville.
We have seen deer near the house in winter and even bears sometimes.

It is very difficult to find a home with majestic glorious views accessed by PAVED roads all the way to the house. The community is over 500 acres and all the homes have acreage. We have been renting Sasha's cabin for over 20 years . We keep the house constantly updated. We are a NC incorporated business Our business name is Asheville Vacation Cabins Inc..you can look us up on the NC Sec of State website.Its nice to know who you are renting from! We incorporated in 2005. Our home is immaculate and professionally cleaned and sanitized after each guest. Bed linens and towels are laundered off site. The hot tub is meticulously maintained. Check in and out is flexible and contact free. Where else can you rent a home with 7 acres of privacy yet be within 20 minutes of Asheville?
