We had the most delightful stay at the Carriage House! The beautifully appointed cottage was everything we had hoped it woud be and more! The location was fantastic, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the house was immaculate and there was plenty of space to spread out. Gourmet coffee was provided and there was even a bottle of champagne and chilled glasses in the fridge. We stayed in December and the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We look forward to staying here again and will recommend it to our friends!

Isaac was very accommodating.The house was very cozy and comfortable.Both couples were very pleased with the location that was in walking distance to restaurants and shops.The fresh flowers, coffee w real creamers, andchilled beverage was very nice!We would stay there again and highly recommend !!!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Carriage House. The owner was very accommodating and very quick to answer any questions we had.. The home was very nice, clean and cute. There was even a woodland Christmas tree that was so cute. The location was perfect and easily walkable to all the restaurants, stores and theater. We would not hesitate to stay with this host again.

We love the Carriage House property. It's lovely, comfortable, and has beautiful gardens, patio area, and yard. Its location is perfect for walking to Creeper Trail, restaurants, and Main Street shopping. A few blocks from Barter Theatre, a favorite of ours!The Carriage House is a good choice for two couples traveling as friends, as it has two separate spaces with kitchens and two entrances. We were able to go up and down to each others spaces. We highly recommend this place, especially for two couples.

We cannot say enough great things about The Carriage House and Isaac! Communication was prompt and Isaac was attentive to our every need. The house was perfect and just as listed. It was clean, whimsical, and so comfortable. The location cannot be beat! Walking distance to The Tavern, antique shops, The Girl & The Raven (amazing breakfast), Dwayne and Co., and Barter Theater! The gardens and landscape is so calming and inviting. We adored all the personal touches inside the home too (Bud vases with fresh picked Zinnia from the garden we are looking at you!!)!! You will not regret staying here if you have the opportunity! Thank you so much, Isaac!

No details were missed in this beautiful home! High end quality products and linens, very comfy bed and furniture. Spotlessly cleaned! The charm of this home and garden property is truly magical. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time. So close to everything - I walked to every shop and restaurant … even close enough to walk to Creeper Trail. Easy check in and out process. 10/10!

Relaxing weekend

We stayed the weekend with friends. We ate out, went to the Barter and rode our bikes on the Creeper trail - all without ever getting in our cars! It was the perfect place to stay for the perfect weekend!

Just perfect!

Loved the whole vibe! Authentic feel, artsy but natural decorating taste, live flowers inside and natural plants outside, best location for walking downtown and to Virginia creeper trail! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Weekend with dad

Stayed here becvause both of us are gardeners and cyclist. Enjoyed the property and the proximity to the Creeper trail. Very close to restaurants and entertainment in Abingdon. Be aware many shops are closed Sunday/Monday! The interior is well appointed and very clean.

In Town for Family Wedding

Beautiful quaint Vrbo which had everything you would ever need. Can’t say enough good things about the house and all its unique amenities, the owners wonderful communication and the lovely gardens that surround the property. Amazing!!!

Enchanting Property

The Carriage House was perfect for our stay in Abingdon. Two separate living spaces, including two kitchens, was ideal for two couples traveling together. The garden and grounds are spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the small courtyard before dinner each night.

Charm and location

Tulips in the window box of the kitchen window-just these special touches made our stay so enjoyable. A comfortable space with an artistic flair. The garden beside the house was delightful. The location was so convenient. We walked to restaurants and the theater. The kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed dining in on the trout we caught.

A great stay at the Carriage House

We had a delightful stay at the Carriage House. it was a return trip. The house is very nicely decorated, with all the items we needed. Communication with Isaac went very smoothly and quickly, and check-in and check-out went very easily. The house is very well located within easy walking distance to the lovely shops, great restaurants, and charming residences of Abindgon. We'll definitely select the Carriage House when we return to Abingdon.

Charming cottage

Beautiful house and neighborhood. My only thoughts for improvement would be the sink facet was strange and no water pressure, no instructions on how to work the dish washer and we cooked breakfast two mornings in a row so we had to wash dishes with the facet messed up.
