Owners were very reposive and helpful. The house is beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. The view of the bitterroot river and the outdoor areas were very lovely. Out in the woods enough to enjoy the peace and quite, but still close enough to town for whatever you need.

From the moment we pulled in the driveway, we knew this property was special. It is in the perfect location right on the Bitterroot River and close to Hamilton. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Have been vacationing in the area for over 20 years and this year was the most memorable. The home is perfect for large families. Plenty of room and plenty to do right at the house! Fly fishing, pool table, playing cards, sitting around the fire pit, family dinners, and our favorite pastime was watching nature and the river run right in front of us. We saw an abundance of deer, ducks, a Bald Eagle, and even heard wolves howling our last night. Spectacular sunsets over the mountains and meteor showers at night made every day even more memorable. The home is exceptionally furnished, has a well stocked kitchen, and lots of conversational seating areas. It’s the perfect family property and the owner was our point of contact and she is incredibly nice and responsive. 10/10 perfect week!!

Family reunion

The Bitterroot Retreat was a beautiful home. Very relaxing atmosphere with wildlife around every day. Just listening to the river flowing and watching the animals was a great way to spend the evenings. Majority of my siblings joined my wife and i for a very relaxing and fun few days. I would highly recommend this beautiful place if you want to get away to relax.

Family vacation in Montana.

The house is very well maintained and is located right on the Bitterroot river. It has beautiful views of the river and mountains from the deck. It’s close to Hamilton and about a 20 minute drive to Darby.

This retreat was wonderful. It was our yearly sibling outing. Plenty of room and plenty to do. The house is beautiful. The outdoors is quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided. Owners were very easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation.

The Bitterroot Retreat was a very impressive home. Spacious, well equipped, clean and an excellent location overlooking the Bitterroot River. Bitterroot Retreat is amazing! We had the BEST stay and everything was simply perfect. This was the perfect choice for our family of 7 with room for everyone. If you are looking to stay in the Bitterroot area of Montana, this is the only place I'd stay.

The property was absolutely stunning. Our family had an incredible experience and so much fun. Made some amazing new memories that we will never forget. The house was gorgeous inside and out. Sunsets, the porch, fire pit, wildlife and how close to the river it was, was unreal. Access to Hamilton/Darby very easy to navigate our way around. The whole family had such a wonderful time. The view was incredible and something you just cannot beat. We are so grateful for the opportunity to share your house with us and we hope to eventually return someday. (And catch fish like Bo does!) ;) Thank you Bo & Renea for everything.

Beautiful cabin on the river

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Check in was super easy and the house was very clean. The kids loved the pool table downstairs. The river access is so nice. The kids were able to fish and catch crawdads. We also floated down the river! So fun! The kitchen is well stocked and the you have a choice of a green egg or propane grill. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and can’t wait to return.

Absolutely wonderful home and location

This was the most wonderful home and made it a vacation that we will remember for a long time to come. The home is exactly as the pictures depict, spacious, well decorated, spacious and lots of amenities. The location was amazing and we spent hours sitting on the back porch, into the late night, listening to the rippling river. Would come back again without hesitation!

Memories were made!

This was one of the best family trips we have taken! Everything was so incredibly easy. The views were stunning. Accommodations were great for our large group/family and easy driving to hiking trails and both downtown Hamilton and Darby. No one wanted to leave so we will definitely be back!

Fantastic Stay

Looking for plenty of room for a family gathering or group of friends, this home is perfect! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, space for everyone to relax. We enjoyed the outdoor deck each day with awesome views of the beautiful Bitterroot river and wildlife. Renae is a wonderful host and provided an accommodation that exceeded our expectation.

Bliss on the Bitterroot

This property was all we could have asked for and more. Having the river run right behind the house and mountains as the backdrop was so beautiful. This is a perfect house to fit a big family or a retreat with some of your closest friends. The property manager was kind and very responsive to any questions we had. All week people were complimenting the place and just enjoying all it had to offer. Every night was spent on the back porch watching the sunset and enjoying the views. The house had plenty of linens, storage and 360 views. We are not from the area but would return to this vrbo in a heartbeat if our paths ever cross again. Thank you to the property managers for such a great stay!

Amazing Home

What a gorgeous home right on the bitterroot river. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. There is so much space to enjoy a large family gathering with lots of places to escape to if you need some quiet time! The beds are super comfy as well. We were here for my daughter's wedding, and it was so relaxing to sit on the porch watching the river flow - a great way to relieve the stresses of a wedding! We were lucky enough to see elk crossing the river right next to the house our first morning (such a treat) as well as bald eagles and many deer sightings. Thank you Renae for such an amazing home and trip!

A Fantastic Bitterroot Valley Home Base

An open-concept home was a wonderful place for our extended family to gather. It's hard to decide our favorite place in the house! The kitchen, the basement with pool table or the porch overlooking the Bitterroot River! Perfection! Thank you, Renae, for a wonderful place to call home for two weeks!

Wow!

What an amazing home for our vacation! We had a large group of family, ages 2-72, and there was room for all! The log home had an abundance of space so that we could all congregate together or hang out in separate areas. We took advantage of all the area had to offer that we could in our time frame, from relaxation float trips, fly fishing float trips, fishing right outside the home, horse back riding, wildlife viewing, Glacier National Park, and a quick trip to Darby to fawn over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. Do not hesitate to book this home, it is well worth it!
