Whether it be for just one night or for weeks at a time, we are happy to be of service to you and welcome you to our home. We hope that you will come see us to enjoy all that Southwest Virginia and the Appalachian Mountains have to offer, including motorcycle and car rides over the Back of the Dragon, visiting beautiful Burkes Garden (also known as God's Thumbprint), The Cove where the 50th Anniversary movie "Lassie" was filmed, hiking (including the nearby Appalachian trail), fishing, swimming, boating, ATVs with Spearhead Trails' OHV trails, Mountain Heritage Loop trail, the Hatfield and McCoy trails, the Pocahontas Exhibition Mine, Crab Orchard Museum, local lakes and campgrounds where you can canoe, paddleboard, and paddleboat, including Hungry Mother's Park, as well as shopping Main Street in Tazewell, and enjoying local markets, wineries, festivals and other events.

2022 was our first time staying at the the Cozy Home. 2025 was our second. The home is nicely decorated. The outside patio is a relaxing space for morning coffee. The home is stocked well with any amenities you might need for a comfortable stay. The home is clean, cozy & well maintained. Having the garage is an added bonus. This home is always our first choice when coming to Tazewell.

Great Spot for Touring the Area

The house was great. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Michele was great in suggesting places of interest and eating establishments. The bottled water, coffee and cookies were great after a long days travel. Richard H.

A jewel in Tazewell

The place was amazing and exactly as described. It has everything you would want and more. Fully equipped kitchen, full laundry, high-speed WiFi, TVs everywhere, an awesome covered patio and grill, full garage and two full fridges. It is located in a great neighborhood and it’s quiet/peaceful. Hosts were easy to work with and super responsive throughout the whole process. We’ll be back!

Great time

The house was everything that it was described to be. The property was in a quiet neighborhood, not hard to find. Close to shopping at Food Lion. Enjoyed having the garage, as it was raining when we arrived. The back patio and grill were very good. All instructions were very well written. If in the area would stay there again.

Clean, well-appointed welcoming home

We were in town for a family reunion at Cavitt's Creek Park. This house was the perfect location, so nearby to both the reunion and Food Lion. Upon entering the home we noticed how clean it was and how nicely decorated it was. We love birds, so it was like they decorated with us in mind. : ) There was plenty of everything we could have needed from the bedding, towels, and all of the little extras like beautiful flowers left for us, cookies & all kinds of coffee & creamer choices. Loved the seating on the patio and just everything about the place. Wish I had my sisters with me so I could have played a good game of Scrabble. We would love to stay here again when we're back in town. Thanks again, Michele & family for making it such an enjoyable stay.

Great place

We came down to ride the back of the dragon and this property fit our needs perfectly. Fully stocked house on a nice little property, but the best part was the garage. We were able to fit all three motorcycles and our trailer in there. The host was great, answered all pf our questions, and even gave us aome insight on some local happenings that weekend for us to check out. Will definitely be a return guest.

We are a small family-owned and operated business located in North Tazewell, Virginia. And when we say small family, we mean a very small and close knit family. We are generations of a family that was born and raised in Tazewell County, Virginia. We all graduated from Tazewell County Public Schools where we are a family divided with half attending Tazewell High School, home of the Bulldogs, and their school rivals the Richlands Blue Tornados. But was all come together in yelling "GO HOKIES" as we follow several of our family members to Blacksburg.

This property was left to our family after a devastating car accident that claimed the lives of our grandparents just days before Thanksgiving. However, we celebrate our memories of our family by working together to provide a comfortable and restful stopping place for visitors to Tazewell County.

This home is located in a residential area and provides a restful, quiet home with a large fenced in yard and wonderful covered back patio with large table and chairs and a new gas grill. Park your car or motorcycles in the secure garage. We have two comfortable queen beds and a twin bed with a trundle available.
