A quintessential South Louisiana camp! This quaint and quiet lodge is located on the East side of Calcasieu Lake (Big Lake) and is conveniently situated just south of Lake Charles, LA. A wonderful opportunity for outdoorsmen and women, a family escape, or just a unique Louisiana experience!

Not only do we offer an incredible property- we also hope to make your stay as simple, relaxing and enjoyable as possible by keeping our lodge very well stocked with more than just the basics!

Our 600lb ice maker is a favorite among our fishing and outdoors group!
The cooks always love our cast iron selection and fully loaded kitchen!
We keep plenty of paper towels and toilet paper on hand (and not the cheap stuff)!
We have a Green Egg, Webber and large barrel smoker for our BBQ connoisseurs!
Each bed has a thick foam topper and ultra comfy pillows!
Each room has a box fan for those who love a little white noise and extra circulation while sleeping!
We stock the bathrooms with the good shampoo and body wash!
We do the best we can to make sure you get to enjoy every minute at Little Lake Lodge!

When your here, we hope you’ll take your time and enjoy it all…….catch a load of fish in the stocked pond (bass and bluegill) or venture out on Calcasieu Lake (Big Lake) which is a stones throw from the front door and has incredible fishing for trout, redfish and flounder! Relax on the large screened in porch or cook a delicious meal in the chef's kitchen. This unique little lodge is the perfect place for your next relaxing get away!

Our Little Lake Lodge can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. The master bedroom is set on the east side of the house, has a large comfortable king bed, two separate closets and additional luggage racks for your convenience. This room has a full private bathroom all to its own!

The junior bunkroom has a cozy single bunk set, luggage rack and two separate closets to keep things organized. This room is quiet and cool during the summer and comfy and warm during the winter months.

The main bunk room is situated on the Southwest corner of the camp with rustic sliding barn doors to provide its privacy from the rest of the lodge. In the main bunk room you have your choice of a larger full size top/bottom bunk or a single bed, all of which are comfy and cozy! This room also has a full private bathroom and laundry room attached.

Our living room is perfectly situated with an extra large leather couch and two great recliners - all of which are great for taking a nap! The large flat screen tv is mounted on the wall where you can enjoy a great football game or family movie!

We are really proud of the chef's kitchen! Perfectly organized and boasting a beautiful gas stovetop, the best cast iron pots, top cutlery, and all the necessary equipment for an enjoyable culinary experience! The view from the kitchen might be the best of it all…..overlooking the pond and vast majority of the property’s acreage!

Little Lake Lodge is well stocked with all the comforts and conveniences you might need or expect for a great stay in Big Lake! We provide all the necessary plates, cups, utensils, paper products, toiletries and essentials.

Our stocked pond is always a guest favorite. We have a small dock where you can fish, picnic, enjoy a glass of wine or just watch the sun set. The pond has a healthy population of bass and bluegill - which are on a feeding program to help them grow and remain healthy. If you want to really have some fun - bring your fly rod along! We think you will have a ball catching fish @ Little Lake Lodge!

We are just across the Lake from Hackberry, LA - so many of our guests enjoy fishing opportunities with all the great guides, no matter where they are located on the lake.
