La Maison d'Amont is located in the Alpes de Haute Provence, between Digne, Gap and Barcelonnette.

The family resort of St Jean Montclar is 800m away, the Lac de Serre-Ponçon is a 10-minute drive away, the village of St Vincent les Forts is 5 minutes away.

All winter sports and snow activities are nearby: snowshoeing (departures from home), skiing, snowboarding, sledging, ice skating, yooner, ski touring, paragliding, speed-riding... Many local activities and festivals in season. PGJyPg
The house is surrounded by fields at the end of a 400m track, offering a large play area for your children, and absolute calm for you. It has a superb panoramic view of the mountains, the countryside and the lake of Serre Ponçon.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE: in winter it is usually necessary to chain up to get home (unless you have a 4x4). Socks or snow tyres are not enough because the 400m track that goes up to the house is quite steep in places. You have to know this and accept it before booking. It is possible to leave a car at the bottom of the slope.

The apartment occupies the 1st floor of the chalet and is 130 m2 - that's big! Our guests are always delighted to have so much space. The first floor is generally not occupied.
