Waterfront Getaway w/Private Dock, Deck, Central A/C, & Kayaks

Enjoy spectacular water views from the deck and dock of this waterfront Cape Cod getaway. This unique property is fully equipped with everything you and your guests will need to enjoy your vacation getaway.

Bring your boat and enjoy the dock with direct access to the ocean, Washburn Island & Martha's Vineyard! Relax at the association beach, kayak to Washburn Island, use the private clubhouse heated swimming pool, tennis court, restaurant & bar (in season), or explore all of the activities that the Falmouth area and Cape Cod have to offer. For shopping the property is located halfway between Mashpee Commons and Falmouth Center (4 miles either way).

The home is a ranch style with a cathedral ceiling over the open living/dining/kitchen area, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gas fireplace and central A/C. It is outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen, propane gas grill, outdoor shower, bath towels and bedding. The home also has multiple portable office desks, chairs, WiFi printer and automated whole house standby generator.

The living space opens through two sliders to a large deck with great water views and a gas fire pit.

Bedding and bath towels included; beach towels can be provided upon request at booking.

Enjoy the complimentary use of our fun stuff including a treadmill, weight bench, free weights, bikes, beach chairs, Foosball, air hockey, table tennis, darts, and kayaks (4).

Dock accommodates up to a 27ft boat w/outboard(s) and ~24" hull draft. Dock has 110v power and water. If you are planning on bringing a boat, please call or email first so we can talk through logistics.

There are three outside security cameras: one covering the driveway from front corner of the house, one covering the dock from the back roof line and one covering the far side of the house from the roof line. There is mounting for a fourth under the deck that is removed while guests are there.

destination Thanksgiving

Two of our children go to college in Boston and the holiday break is so short and the kids are bogged down with the end of the semester. We decided to go to them and found this lovely house in East Falmouth. It was perfect. Loved the games downstairs and enjoyed the swans each day. The location was perfect and we enjoyed a short walk to the neighborhood beach. The bunk room was a little tight and the tv was a bit complicated. Would love to come back in the spring or summer to explore on the kayaks.

Enjoyable place with lots of extra amenities, quite neighborhood.

Stay was perfect. Plenty of room and home had lots of extra amenities. Enjoyed the outdoor gas fireplace, kayaks, football table etc. We caught blue crab off the dock. The wireless printer came in handy to print a document I needed during the stay. Communication was excellent. Hosts were wonderful to deal with and helpful.

Beautiful house in the perfect spot

Such a relaxing time in this great little house. Plenty of room for our 2 young adult kids plus us. We enjoyed having both a brewery and a winery close by, made use of the paddleboards and kayak and the bikes. Nice beaches abound, Shining Sea Bike path, lots of good restaurants plus a gas grill and fully equipped kitchen for cooking in. Cable TV and we could easily access our own Amazon Prime account to rent a movie. Loved having my morning coffee (and afternoon glass of wine) on the dock and watching all the birdlife. We had a great week and the hosts are close by and very attentive if you need anything (but absolutely invisibile if you don't).

Great weekend away!

Perfect Place for a Golf Trip

Had a fantastic weekend at John’s property with a small group of friends. Close to numerous Falmouth courses and restaurants. The property was clean, the deck had amazing views and John was a great host.

Perfect spring getaway!

This property was perfect for a quick getaway to relax and enjoy the company of good friends (and our kids.) Comfortable living room and a kitchen that accommodated more than we'd even need! The bedrooms were comfy and the kids loved the bunk beds. Enjoyed the back deck and overlooking the water. The kids loved feeding the ducks. A quiet retreat close to the water and fun places in town.

Soothing Stay on the Water

We needed a change of scenery and a break from urban life. This charming, cozy house provided all that and more. Even though it was quite chilly a few days, making extended sitting on the deck challenging, the floor to ceiling sliders facing the water offered plenty of sunlight and lovely views of the water and its feathered inhabitants. And on a sunny low-wind day, the comfy deck furniture offered a pleasant respite from urban intensity. We were content to read, listen to music, and take walks on the quiet road behind the house and also in other areas in Falmouth. The house is very well equipped and the owners offer easy access for any questions. We hated to leave! Thank you Kristen and John.

A WONDERFUL PLACE ANY SEASON

We spent a lot of time at the Beach House: in the sunny living room, comfy back porch, and making our own meals. We also enjoyed use of the bikes and the kayak. A perfect COVID-free vacation.

Clean Comfortable

John's place couldn't have been cleaner or more welcoming. Perfect set up for our family of 6 (there was also room for 2 more kids). Great layout easy to relax all together and also have privacy when needed. Furniture was incredibly comfortable, location was easily accessible. highly recommend!

Unforgettable Weekend

This was one of the best home rental trips we’ve ever taken with the group! Everyone had a fantastic time and one we won’t ever forget, the home and area was beautiful, and the owners were spot on with help and or communication when needed! Sad that it’s over... but would highly consider booking again in the future!

Warm and Welcoming

Place was absolutely beautiful and we were there in the dead of the Winter!! Family had enough space to relax and enjoy eachothers company. Equipt with everything we could have possibly needed. There was a little snow/sleet during our stay and the property owner came over to salt and shovel our entranceway. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect getaway home!

We loved this home so much. It was beautiful and just perfect for my friends and I. House had everything you would need for a vacation. Location was great as it was only a 12 minute drive to the Ferry (to Martha’s Vineyard) and everything we could possibly need was close by. Owners were fantastic too, super kind, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and would come back again!

The perfect place for a vacation during the pandemic times, or any time!

We had a great time at this property. We had been stranded at home for 5 months during the pandemic lock down and needed a change. This place was perfect for that. It was secluded, but also close to everything. It was very quite and relaxing, but also full of entertainment. We enjoyed canoeing, paddle boarding and biking around the neighborhood. Also, had fun playing board games and relaxing during meals at the terrace. Restaurants, markets and shopping are only 10-15 min by car. There is a great ice cream shop only 5 min from the house. The place was clean and had absolutely everything you may wish for. The house looks exactly as advertised.

Brilliant Location

John and Kristen, Your Beach House was absolutely perfect! Everything we needed or wanted was there. Beach gear, paddle boards, chairs, towels, We could go on! The house was very clean when we arrived and we hope we left it the same. The location is perfect. Having the dock for our Jet Skis made our stay much easier. Maybe next year we'll have a boat! We loved the beach area you created and the private beach down the street was just beautiful. We took so many pictures and really made some wonderful memories with our boys. The house is so close to downtown Falmouth. Having dinner out and taking the ferry to the Vineyard was very quick and easy. Thank you again. The West Family

Location, location, location. The views are tremendous, the neighborhood is quiet and close to Washburn Island. It is almost impossible to find another property with a dock where you can bring your own boat with protected access to the ocean with no bridges.
