Located on the new beginner slope our home boasts plenty of sleeping (5 bedrooms and 4 full baths) and communal space including 2 living spaces and 2 decks with slope side views and an extra large patio with a fire pit (perfect for enjoying the Summer concerts offered at the resort). High-end finishes make this property the luxurious get-a-way you were looking for. Every aspect of this home has been well thought out for your easy and relaxing stay. We offer a well-equipped kitchen with your choice of coffee pot or Keurig. We also have a special, locked, storage space for your outdoor gear! No need to bring ski/snowboard/muddy boots and shoes or wet clothes in the house! There are multiple TVs with cable and streaming services, a video game machine with 300 games, board games, books, and a Playstation that will keep kids entertained when you're taking a break from skiing, hiking, and mountain biking that's right in your backyard. You will never be bored!

***Important Winter Information*** Our home is on paved city roads that are plowed during ski season. However, we receive 80-100 inches of snow annually, Oct - April. 4x4 or snow chains are highly recommended/ required. If conditions are impeding travel there is a chance we would need to cancel booking until conditions improve.

***Important Summer Information*** Summer months on Beech Mountain are mostly cool; mid to low 70s in the afternoons in August. We do have 1 air conditioner for the upstairs living area for use on the rare afternoons it gets into the upper 70s and low 80s. There is no central air conditioning.

Fun Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room and it very efficient. We enjoyed watching from the deck and jumping on the slopes. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were large, nice to unload and reload at the back door, good area for ski equipment, loved the fire pit area and even got to jump on the trampoline. Only things we would like were lights on the slope by the house at night and easier way to ski in (slight walk uphill). We were blessed with great weather and ski conditions for late February.

Comfortable, Beautiful & Convenient

We've stayed in this home several times and always have a wonderful time. It easily accomodated 6 adults and 4 small children. It is slope side and the trail is very accessible. It even has extras like a trampoline and a small arcade game. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, etc. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful home.

Generational Ski Trip

We took our family to the same mountain I learned to ski thirty years ago. It was a fantastic experience watching our grandkids ski for the first time. And they loved it! Their ages range from 4-17. The mountain was a great place for them to learn. The location of the house and the ski in and out ability was prefect for experienced and new skiers to traverse. My wife and one grandkid stayed back and enjoyed the amenities of the house. The house has everything a family could need. The kitchen was well appointed and had all we needed to cook meals. Comfortable rooms too. We had daily visits from deer on the front porch and they ate corn out of our hands. Side note- Fred’s Mercantile carries deer corn! And anything else you may need!Kristin was a wonderful and attentive host. She responded quickly and was very helpful. This is the perfect house and location for family fun.

Great all around

Perfect location on the Carolina Caribbean beginner run with magic carpet, great for kids. Doesn't get any easier. Nice house. Great porches. Gear closet outside so not hauling gear in and out of house between runs. Clean. Up to date.

Slope side great!

We enjoyed our stay with family at this beautiful house right on the beginner slope with the magic carpet. Great to walk right downstairs to slope. Grandparents enjoyed watching from nice large windows.

Not your average VRBO - a truly welcoming home

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home. Our family maxed out its capacity and we were all comfortable. There was nothing missing, and the host was very responsive to all requests. Could not ask for a better proximity to the ski slopes, particularly if your skills are still developing, you don’t have to go down any large slopes to get over to the lodge and lift ticket office. Thank you!

Excellent ski in/ski out

Clean, well stocked house. Owners have thought of everything that you could possibly need and it’s at your fingertips. The kitchen was well stocked. There are plenty of towels and linens. The equipment room makes coming in from the slopes very easy. Can’t wait to book again next year.

Fun times, great memories

This was our 2nd year staying here. We're from central Florida and like to come up at least once a year to go skiing. This house is in a great location on the slope especially for skiers that are not that advanced. The bunny slope was open beside it this year. There wasn't many people using it so it was a great place for the children to play on the side of it and to practice their skiing. Also, there's a great view from the livingroom to sit by the fire and watch the skiers on the slopes. It was my husband and I and some of our adult children and their kids that stayed. We sat by the firepit overlooking the slopes and roasted hotdogs and marshmellows, grilled burgers on the deck right outside the main floor, cooked delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen on the five burner gas stove, sat around and enjoyed each other's company, went back and forth to the slopes to ski, and made occasional trips to Banner Elk; 10-15 min. away. It was nice to go down to the little room under the deck to get our boots on and pick up our skis before hitting the slopes. I was heading down the steps to go ski when I seen four deer behind me. They walked over the steps and went up by the house. I was surprised at how tame they were. Thank you Kristen for letting us check in an hour early. You have a beautiful place, inside and out.

Highly recommend!

The house was exactly as described. The host was amazing at communicating and the little extra amenities just made the stay top notch. We will stay here again and definitely recommend the stay. The house was fully stocked with plenty of towels, detergent, liquid soap, heated blankets, convenient storage for boots and skis and everything labeled to make it easy to locate and put things back in their place. Loved how organized everything was.

Family Ski Trip

Amazing!!!

We had such a wonderful annual ski trip this year and this home truly made the trip! It was the perfect location, amazing views of the slopes, and the host was very accommodating. The downstairs room to store skis and snowboards was perfect. We definitely plan to book here again!

Perfect Christmas Vacation

I had an amazing time at the vacation rental! The location on top of the mountain provided stunning ski views. The house was perfect with all the amenities we needed, and the fire pit outside was a nice touch. The second living room with gaming stuff for my grandsons was a wonderful idea. Direct access to the ski slopes from the back door made everything so convenient, and the ski slope storage kept everything in order. Our entire family loved it!

Wonderful stay

This house is beautifully remodeled and had everything one would need. Location is great. Kids had a fun time. Nice new washer and dryer. Owner was very responsive and wonderful to deal with. We already booked for next year!

Perfect Ski in/out Mountain Home!

So many great things to say about this property. Not only does the home provide all the amenities you would need for a winter getaway including the small things like trash bags, cleaning supplies and plenty of towels, the home also had absolute beautiful views of the slopes. Everything in the home was well maintained and very comfortable for my large group. Most conviently the large walk in room to hold all your ski/snowboarding gear was easily accessible right off the slopes going into the home. Each of the restrooms had a heater fan for those cold mornings and evenings and there was no shortness of hot water which was super wonderful after a long day of skiing. The WiFi was quick and communication between myself and Kristen was very reliable. Will most definitely be staying here again on my next ski trip.

Awesome vacation

This place is everything we had wanted in a ski in/out! It’s clean, spacious, and property manager/owner was great to deal with. You can walk to the lodge it’s so close! We sat on the couch and watched the people on the slopes! The views are great! We will definitely be back next year!
