Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail on your private balcony, where you can take in views of the resort and surrounding trees. Inside, a cozy bar area with barstools makes dining in effortless. Worst mattress ever

Sandestin Golf and Beach resort a great place. This studio unit average size. Light was minimal, couldn't read a magazine sitting next to the undersized light fixture. The mattresses were so worn out they crackled from age. We were scheduled for 15 days, left after 6 because of back pain caused by both worn out mattresses. Once the mattress and lighting issues are resolved, this would be an acceptable unit

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was clean. The base board under the cabinet near the mini fridge was missing the covering. This was an eye soar. The patio could have been pressure washed. The chairs and table had mold spots. The bed closest to the patio door seemed as if it had some type of separation or slant/slope. The parking is not in the covered parking deck. You have to walk to the Overflow parking. I travel to Sandestion 3 times every year. This property is usually on it. Than again Ive never had to park in the Overflow parking. It is extremely dark. This needs more lighting. I had to walk using my phone light. If you go please bring a big flashlight and a walking stick..I dont think my room was vacuumed or swepped. If so they would have noticed the previous guests shoes under the bed

Such a hassel

An accurate map of where the condo is and where parking is would have been helpful and would have helped us to avoid 2 hours of driving around asking people for help who had no idea. Description says there is free parking but they fail to mention that the parking we are expected to use is a very long distance from the condo. There is no way to make unloading an easy task. It's a long hike to bring all your belongings and kids. Not knowing where parking was and going on the assumption that it would be near the condo, we were met with turn around after turn around, until we were finally able to get ahold of someone to tell us where we could park. However, the answering service also spoke as if they didn't know exactly where anything was as well. When we finally made it into the condo we were met with horrible fumes from what smelled like paint. The box springs on the first bed was broke so when you slept or sat on it, you sink into it. Terribly uncomfortable. The pipes in the bathroom would shake violently when trying to shower. The door to the cabinet in the bathroom kept falling off. The refrigerator kept freezing over and unfreezing which ruined some of our food and creamer. The description made this condo sound updated and serene and that's not at all what we found. Thankfully, the condo is loacted in the village of the wharf. Literally it's only thing that made the other things tolerable.

BAD - BAD - BAD

This was no more than a cheap hotel room. Dirty. Mold in bathroom. Missing trim under sink. Furniture looked like it may have come from a thrift store at best. A/C very noisy. Both beds squeaky and very uncomfortable. Next guest linens in thin bags under each bed - yuck. No place to hang clothing, was taken up with mop and bucket, vacuum cleaner, unnecessary stuff for guests. Listing very misleading. Stated parking in garage - nope that didn't happen, contacted the host and confronted them about the parking, was told that the statement was "Standard Verbiage for guest staying in Lasata". Didn't even get to park in parking lots although they were marked "Lot 1 and Lot 2 for Grand Sandestin, Lasata, Bahia, Elation owners and rental guests only". Had to park in dirt on other side of golf course and WALK right at 15 minutes to get back to this room. Listing said that there was parking. The desk clerks or whatever you might want to call them were not any help with anything. I was told since I rented this through VRBO that they had nothing to do with any of it. Tried getting back with VRBO no response there either. Had no help or guidance with absolutely nothing. Noticed that many other visitors were not happy with there visit either. Will not stay at this establishment ever again and would not recommend it to anyone. Like I said earlier it is nothing more that a cheap 1 star at best, hotel. Very unhappy, my whole year's vacation turned into a disaster.

Unfortunately, the association does enforce that studio accommodations are not permitted to park in the covered garage, and this is outlined in our rental agreements.
