Welcome to unit #344! Our very spacious 2 bedroom unit features a bedroom with a king bed, a loft bedroom with a king size bed, a queen size sofa-bed in the living room, 2 full bathrooms, including a walk-in shower. Host additional guests on the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
The open concept spacious living space, entails a full size kitchen featuring a refrigerator, range with an oven, dishwasher, and a microwave. With living room seating for 5, dining table, and a gas fireplace it is the perfect unit for entertaining. Don't forget to enjoy the french doors facing round lake as the boats sail in and out of Round Lake.
It's everything you need for a weekend getaway!
The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.
Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 48 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Venetian Festival stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been staying at the Edgewater for over 16 years. Since the new management has taken over, there have been changes to the cancellation policy, such as 60 days out, which I believe is preventing some people from booking because of that. I will say the location is the best thing about the place right on round Lake is gorgeous and beautiful. But the cancellation policy needs to be adjusted. It’s very hard for people once they’re 60 days out to not be able to cancel. I understand a 10 day but 60 days is a little much. And I understand you can purchase insurance however you have to jump through so many hoops in order to use it. It’s really not conducive. For the amount of money they charge we could’ve went on vacation to Florida for about six days so the prices are inflated definitely during the Venetian festival and I understand they can get it but there’s a break point which I think that I have reached. Also, the only other thing I could suggest is we were staying in a two bedroom unit so obviously we had another couple besides ourselves and we only had one parking pass, which didn’t make any sense at all.

The weather was horrible, but we were perfectly happy snuggling up next to the fireplace and watching football. Perfect location for walking to restaurants and bars. It was fun to watch people sailing. The rooms were spacious and both bathrooms were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. I didn’t want to leave!

Charlevoix Gem

Edgewater Inn is a beautiful place! Condo #344 did not disappoint. Modern renovations and awesome decor. The air conditioning decided to quit before we arrived for our stay, but I liked the condo so much I didn’t want to switch locations. The staff provided a mobile air conditioning unit and fans. It worked out great! It was a cooler weekend.

The location is perfect for walking everywhere, kids love the pool. We have found the units that are remodeled that we love to stay in. The new siding looks awesome!! Hoping they update and add to their outdoor pool furniture we felt like we were fighting for chairs, hoping by next summer they have those!

Horrible Customer Service/NOT physically disabled friendly!!!

We arrived to find our room was switched to a smaller room due to construction. When contacting the front desk, she stated they tried calling and leaving a voicemail on Feb 12 about the switch. We did not book this room until Feb 27 and never received a voicemail. I received all other communications-a text through the app, texts, and emails-never a voicemail! We were offered a 10% discount. We’re on vacay for the weekend so we rolled with it, determined to have a good time until the ceiling literally started to fall in the living quarters and in our food and drink. We then contacted Rose, the GM and was told since they contacted us and we received the 10% discount she was only willing to offer us another 10% or we could find another place to stay on our own and move and the construction company would only be there until 8 p.m. We tried to find another room but nobody had a room for 1 night. Being the last day of our vacay by this time, we accepted the 10%, never once receiving an apology for the inconvenience, instead ridiculed because we did not get a voicemail on Feb 12-15 days prior to our reservation. I booked this weekend vacay to get some peace after experiencing a life altering medical diagnosis and there was no peace, only shame, horrible customer service with lack of empathy and a horrible time. The property was also dangerous to access by a person with a disability like myself due to the ramp being blocked. I have videos and pictures that I’m willing to share.

Great condo and location

Very comfortable location with great views. It's set up very well and very clean. Within walking distance to good restaurants and bars. Was a short drive to boyne, highlands and nubs knob for excellent skiing. Would definitely return in the future.
