1st floor! This renovated 2BR/2BA Mountain Lodge unit 159 sleeps six (6) and has been updated with beautiful furnishings. It is located adjacent to Snowshoe Village and is only steps away from the Ballhooter chair lift, shops, and restaurants. The master bedroom features a king bed, the second bedroom features a queen bed, and there is new sleeper sofa in main living. For the coffee lovers, this condo is equipped with a regular drip coffee pot as well as a Keurig brewer. The condo is conveniently located on the first floor with easy access to parking and the slopes. It is on the end (of the building) with the indoor child playground and gym equipment. You'll have access to the entire 2BR, 2Bath condo, plus the common areas of the building. The common areas include an arcade; kids play area; lounge with couches, games, and a fireplace; communal overlooks of the slopes; and plenty of areas for large groups to congregate and eat.

Great access to slopes/lift. Condo was as described with well-equipped kitchen. Room location great for small kids as near a play area but still good for adults or older kids/teen as it was not disruptive. Even though check-in is not until later in the day we could get a parking pass for the lot when we arrived and were able to get skiing. Loading/unloading was efficient with side doors.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

The apartment was very easily accessible and the ski in ski out was a huge bonus. Communication and check-in were also very easy. Would book again for a short ski weekend!

Spacious condo

Spacious condo that had everything needed for our stay. Located next to the kids playground in the hallway, which can be a plus for parents with little kids. We were a little concerned at first about the noise, but had no issues as it's close to the far end of the hallway. We also appreciated that you can now purchase breakfast in the lobby of the Mountain Lodge and outside, something which was not available during our previous stays.

Condo is clean and comfortable

Condo unit is fine. A few things to consider:1. Pack quarters. Washers and dryers are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. They operate only by quarters. The coin machine was out, so we could not do laundry.2. Rent ski lockers once you're there. The condo faces the parking lot and is on the far end of the building away from the slopes. Storing skis and snowboards in the ski lockers makes the walk from the condo to the slopes easier.

Great Ski Getaway

My husband and I booked this trip to take our kids on their first ski trip (5,9). I had never been to snowshoe and the property where his brother and sister in law were staying did not have any more two bedrooms available. So I blindly booked this property one building over. Well let me tell you, the mountain lodge itself is “rustic” and I was a little nervous when we entered the lodge. HOWEVER, don’t judge a book by its cover. The staff was friendly, other guests in the lodge that we spoke with were delightful, and having parking right outside the building all but made up for the “rustic” feel of mountain lodge!! Our host Chris was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions I had prior to arriving. The condo was very clean and comfortable and stocked with anything you would need to cook a full meal or toast frozen waffles! It is located near an entrance so loading and unloading was a breeze. The entry way is set up with plenty of hooks for all of your ski gear. We chose to rent a ski locker and let me tell you, that was money well spent. The lockers are spacious (walk in) and the area is heated so all of your gear is warm and dry when you head back out to the slopes. My in-laws resort-like place came with a ski locker but it was literally a locker with barely enough room and not heated etc. We would absolutely stay here again! Could not recommend this property more.

Great condo for mountain enthusiasts

We really enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean, functional for a family of 5, had everything we needed, and great location. Pretty much everything you want in a vacation rental. Snowshoe mountain did not disappoint. It’s an amazing resort up in the West Virginia mountains. Will have to make it an annual adventure for my family.

Hello, My name is Chris Brundage and my wife and I are both school teachers that love to ski and board. We have been coming to Snowshoe for the last ten years and finally decided to buy a piece of this heaven for ourselves to enjoy and rent to others to enjoy as well. We live in Greensboro, NC and have 3 wonderful daughters.

Snowshoe Resort is a year-round vacation resort. In the winter, you can enjoy 60 different ski slopes, three terrain parks, tubing, cross-country skiing, RZR tours, and snowmobiling. After the slopes close you can stroll through the Village's restaurants, shops, kids’ entertainment zone, nightclub, full-service spa, and a teen center for those 20 years old and younger.

In the summer you can plan on a significantly cooler climate in the mountains where you can hike, geo-cache, lounge at the mountain lake, mountain bike, fish, paddle-boat, shoot sporting clays, RZR off-road tours, or golf at Raven Golf Course. There is even a zip line, climbing wall, and Euro-bungee right in the Village! Year-round you can sightsee and swim, or drive off the resort to see live theater or ride on the Cass historic train. Activities and time tables change annually, so double-check with Snowshoe to ensure the activities you want will be available when you plan to be there.

The Mountain Lodge is a Ski In/Ski Out complex ideally located in the Snowshoe Village and next to the slopes, and has its own private parking lot (free to Mountain Lodge guests). You’ll be 30 yards from the Ballhooter Lift and the Beginners’ Slope, all within the Basin. The indoor pool/hot tub/ sauna (additional charges apply), church, and general store are only a short walk from your building. Your condo at the Mountain Lodge is also within walking distance of the Western Territory slopes and the shuttle to night skiing at Silver Creek, giving you outstanding access to all 60 slopes. On the ground floor, you’ll find a relaxing lobby with a warm (in the winter) fireplace. Mountain Lodge common areas and condos each have their own dedicated wi-fi. Mountain Lodge also offers a nightly movie during the ski season. Mountain Lodge is the only building on the mountain with on-site maintenance, just in case.
