Located in a great, quiet, safe neighborhood minutes to shops, dry cleaners, restaurants, pharmacy, banks, bakeries, market, liquor store and parks.

The house was very clean and accurately shown in photos. Easy and quick communication with the owner. 30 minute uber ride into Manhattan. Driveway parking is tight with a bigger car but having a designated spot was great.

Spacious and comfortable

Apollo was a great host! It’s a relaxing location to get back to after doing our adventures in NY. The couches are comfy, beds are good, and AC worked perfectly. Very clean overall.Thank you, Apollo!

Great apartment and easy commute into Manhatten

A lot of room for an NYC adjacent location with all the amenities you'd expect in a good VRBO. Neighborhood is clean and safe. About a 5-minute walk to the NJ Transit bus stop. Make sure you get the app and buy tickets through it instead of cash.

Great little place for a family

Great place in a quiet neighborhood. We had a older and health challenged group so we struggled a bit with the extensive stairs but the owner was great to deal with, comfy beds and clean property

Good location. Easy to get to the city via the bus line and the host did a great job of explaining how to get on the bus line. Felt we were in a very safe neighborhood. Close to some shopping for essentials. Great experience. Would stay again.

Perfect for long week-end trip to NY for 6

Nice 3 bedrooms with lot of space. Nice free parking. 10 min walk to NY skyline on public bus. Very convenient, we would go back.

Great spot for an NYC visit

The property is in a great lil neighborhood, everything we needed was within walking distance including an awesome coffee shop and Italian deli. The house itself has ample space for 5-6 adults and is clean and well appointed. It’s also 11 mins from the nyc water taxi, which provides all day service to midtown manhattan, very convenient. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

Great property close to NYC

We stayed here while attending a nephew's graduation from Columbia. The property was clean, quiet and well equipped. It was just a short walk to a bus that took us directly to NYC. There are several good places to eat within walking distance.

Great location and host

The property was perfect for our group of three friends. Quiet neighborhood, restaurants within walking distance, easy transport to city, clean and comfy. The host was great. Would stay here again!

Hidden Gem

The property was better than the pictures. So clean, very welcoming. The wi-fi worked well, neds were comfortable. Easy in and out. I was the only one whom had difficulty with the stairs. So if you are disabled in any way tjis property is not for you. There are a small flight of stairs to access the apartment and another flight to get in the apartment. We were able to park the vehicle which is AWESOME!! I was able to Doordash needed items. Plenty of shopping within walking distance. Simply loved it. Out Host Apollo was so cool and just a phone call away. We had no issues! When we return I would love tostay here again. The views mentioned in previous comments are not available directly from the space but are within walkin distance and as you travel to and from in the car. Be sure to check them out during day and night.

Beautiful, quiet relaxing home and neighborhood

The home is even prettier than the pictures. It was super easy to use the bus system to get to New York City with the owner's directions. It was nice to leave the city after a day of activities and come back to Guttenberg. A deli, liquor store, market, and wonderful Italian restaurant were all within walking distance. I highly recommend this VRBO. It was perfect for our family of four (2 college age kids, my husband, and me).

Exactly what we needed

We needed a place close to NYC for our kids to come out for Christmas. The apartment had plenty of room for all 6 of us and allowed us to cook and enjoy the holiday together.

Would stay here every time we come to NYC

So much better than staying in Manhattan for families! We would spend all day in the city and welcome our return to this peaceful home and neighborhood. We had a family of six and there was plenty of room. We had everything we needed. We had a car and we were thankful for the free parking in the driveway. Hard to find with some rentals. We would use the Spot Hero App and reserve a place close to the part of town we were exploring each day. The drive in through the Lincoln Tunnel was close and quick and easy. What a view of Manhattan on the Riverside Drive from the Jersey side! Our hosts were super quick to respond and made it very easy. I hope we will be back soon! Thankful to have found this perfect location.

We really enjoyed our stay...

The apartment is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our host was very helpful and bent over backwards to help us. The location is good and the neighborhood is fun. We will be back to stay again. 👍

Great base for a New York trip

Wonderful base in close proximity to N.Y. City, also when you're not really a big city person. Easy access to the city and everything you need close to a base. (Groceries, eating out, bakery, park with lake, amazing view of N.Y. skyline only 8 minutes away) Great place too if you need a day to chill between busy days in the city. Will stay here again for sure if ever visiting N.Y. City again. Apollo the best host one can ask for.
