Overall it was a pretty good experience but it wasn't perfect.
This property was brand new and very centrally located to everything. We didn't even rent a car, we just walked everywhere. We got groceries delivered in hour and half with express delivery from Walmart, which is just a 15 min walk away, for only 10 bucks. We were very excited this property was brand new and to be the first people staying there. It's very cute and basically had everything we need. However, we were disappointed in the bed and few of the kitchen items. The mattress is awful and for being a brand new unit , even though it's a rental, it sure would have been nice to have a nicer mattress but it's obvious they went as cheap as could be. The same for the utensils in the kitchen, the silverware was literally the cheapest silverware you could imagine which is isn't a big deal except that one fork was broken and almost cut my lip open, but thankfully it didn't it just hurt. One of the glasses broke when I put ice in it from the fridge. And all of the dishes were just taken out of boxes and put up. They were not washed beforehand, there was a dust and lint all over them. The couch in the living room is also very stiff, along with the mattress in it. So if you like vegging out and watching TV at the end of the night, you won't be comfy. However this new tower was amazing!! The amenities are wonderful! The pool is huge and resort style! They also have a Cafe in the bottom Level next to the pool that has all kinds of really good food along with coffees and ice cream and other sweet treats that's very fairly priced! The walk across the street is basically as short as coming down in front of the other two towers that are Gulf front and you still have a full amazing view! So we give 5 stars to the Calypso 3 tower ...and 3 stars to the condo itself! We hope you will make some upgrades for your future renters!
