Great get away place. Plenty of room to spread out from screened porch to outdoor fire pit.

Spectacular for family vacation

The house is spacious, the amenities for recreation were as described. You cannot beat the scenery - the herons, the sunsets, the quiet!!! The location was perfect for anyone visiting St. Michael's! The hosts Dawn and Mimi were very pleasant and we were very comfortable to have them on the same property in their own house.

Beautiful views

Spacious house for a get-together of 7. The view of the bay from multiple porches amazing! We enjoyed the pool surrounded by trees and gardens. Close proximity to the quaint town of St. Michael's was a plus. Would recommend for a group or family.

Great spot on the water

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. Plenty of room and lovely decks to hang out on and enjoy the view. Everything we needed to cook breakfast in the morning and appreciated the dishwasher with 6 of us there! We loved the kayaks - had a great morning enjoying the water and then went and sat on the beach. Only a short drive to St. Michaels and the yacht club, so perfect location for us.

Something for everyone; sunset for all.

Each person in our group - from age 6 to 66 - found something special in the Claiborne house experience. And we shared an awe of the sunsets. Inside, the kitchen is extremely well stocked, beds and baths clean and comfortable. Outside, even a cloudy day was perfect for beach combing and bird watching (saw an eagle twice!). We'll just have to return when it is a bit warmer to be tempted into the boats...

Wonderful view

This property had an amazing view! It was advertised for its sunsets and it didn’t disappoint. The house itself is large and spacious for a family. We loved having a beach nearby, kayaks to use, and large yard for our child to run on. The owners were so kind to give us crabs and they were delicious! It smelled like it had a small gas leak in the kitchen and it was mostly clean except for some cobwebs, trash under couches, and mildew on the shower heads. It was tough to get rid of all the flies that wanted and did come in, but thats not the fault of the property owners. It just got old having to constantly cover food and other things inside that you don’t want flies to sit on. Overall, this is a wonderful property that allows you to escape and spend time near the peaceful water.

Amazing Chesapeake Experience

My family of 5 (3 young kids) stayed at Dawn and Mimi's place and loved it! It was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to experience the Chesapeake for all that it has to offer and still be able to drive to St Michaels or Tilghman with ease. We crabbed off the docks (and steamed them too) fished on the jetty and the dock and took the kayaks out several times. I loved how you had a quaint little town of SM but then you drive 5-10 mins to Endless Sunsets and really experience being away from it all. The house was perfect: spacious, clean and THE VIEWS! What drew us to the house were the Sunsets and they didn't disappoint. We sat outside every night and watched the Sunsets. Couldn't have asked for a better setup to experience the true Chesapeake and Dawn and Mimi were awesome and helped with anything we needed. Can't wait to go back!

A beautiful and idyllic location

The property was perfectly situated in a quiet area with a fantastic view of the water. Sadly we were not so lucky with the weather but can only imagine that the sunsets and rises from the balcony would be quite special. Our only criticisms would be that the cutlery and some implements could do with replacing and the dishwasher needed a real lime scale treatment! Some decor felt a little dated. Access to kayaks was a real bonus and if the weather had been kinder to us our boys would have been out more and the access to a small Public beach was a treat. It was perfectly situated to feel away from any crowds but close enough for access to all the local activities etc. A great retreat for a family or two families combined. The owners live next door and were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider returning in the warmer weather to use the pool and swim off the deck!

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful location on the water, relatively isolated but close enough to great restaurants and activities. Host made excellent accommodations for us including providing two brand-new kayaks within a day of our arrival. Lots of room to spread out and allow everyone to find their own quiet nook.

Thanksgiving on the Bay

Great time on the Eastern Bay for Thanksgiving. Mimi was a great host, right next door so readily available. Beautiful views and very comfortable home. Would return for sure.

The best place on the Eastern Shore of Maryland

From the minute we arrived, we knew we were home. This residence offers so much for your experience on the eastern shore of Maryland, near Tilghman Island and St. Michaels. Across the yard is the County beach which offers great views, fishing, and great beachcombing for glass. Fire pit evenings were great with a well-stocked pile of firewood. The home is well-appointed with everything that you will need. The owners will greet you at some point and make sure you have everything that you need, which we appreciated so much! We loved this place so much that we are going to book for next year!!! Can't wait to get back there!!!

Wonderful!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. What an amazing property, pool and the views! The week was so relaxing and just what we needed! The owners and property manager were so friendly and terrific - answering any and all questions promptly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this rental - great, fully equipped kitchen, amazing screened in porch with table and chairs, beautiful bedrooms and baths. Our week was so great my family and I have booked our week for next summer!

Absolute Paradise!

We stayed here for a family vacation in early June and it was amazing! The house is the perfect setting for a family, large house on a beautiful property right on the bay. We loved the double porches - sat outside on the porch for dinners, took naps out there during the day and played games at night. The house has kayaks and a paddle board you can use. The owner does live right next door, and they were very lovely. They have a pool and you can request it be private during your stay, which we did, and we used every day! There is a small public beach close by that you can walk to and swim in, but it did get crowded on the weekends. Great location, only about a 10 minute drive to downtown St. Michael's. It was the most perfect vacation spot!

Sunset every night

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway and had a great time. Whether at the small beach less than 100 yards away or inside the screened porch, we got a beautiful sunset each day. The host was close by and very helpful. The kitchen pots/pans could use a slight upgrade, but other than that it was as expected. Great, quiet getaway!

I looked for years for the perfect spot.I grew up in Claiborne and always wanted a house on Eastern Bay. This property had it all...Big views,cove views,protected shoreline,beach,sunsets and a stone jetty to fish on any time the mood hit. It was large enough to build our vacation rental, 2 piers and a swimming pool for all.

We custom built the house to take advantage of the amazing views of Eastern Bay .Each bedroom walks out onto the porches.

We are 5 minutes to St. Michaels and less than 2 hours to Ocean City, Baltimore, Washington DC and BWI Airport.
