Weekend fishing trip

The property was very conveniently located to restaurants and had a nice area for our boat. The house was very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

End of summer trip

Great little place near all the action in Anchor Bay. Fishing ws rough, so made it even better that we could quickly get on and off the lake to go get lunch and dinner on the water. House was super clean!

Awesome house with great boat parking

This rental is absolutely awesome if you are looking to enjoy some time on lake St.Clair! Spacious boat slips on a canal just a few yards off of the lake. Convenient to local restaurants, and situated in a quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend staying at this property!

Wonderful Lakeside Cottage

The house was perfect for 5 friends getting together to fish! Super clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Plus the two boat slips and large driveway put the property over the top. Thank you Sue for a great weekend.

Had an amazing stay at Sue’s place on the lake! We booked a mini “staycation” with family since we keep our boat at a marina near by. Her place is spotless, tons of room for everyone, lots of places to eat inside or out by the water! The kind bed was super comfy with tons of pillows, lots of windows to open and catch a nice breeze from the lake! Sue has everything you need and then some to enjoy your stay! She was super responsive to any questions I had . I also really appreciated they pull out couches that converted to beds, for my 6 year old to have his own space. The house is super quiet inside and it seemed like the neighbors were pretty quiet as well. At night we could hear the cabana blue playing bands right from the patio, and enjoyed watching all the boats go by. Thanks again for a great stay!

Another Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our second stay at this house! Renting from Sue is a breeze! It’s so clean and located on a quiet side street. Quick and easy access to the lake, nice boat wells with electricity right there! You have everything you need right there. The other reviews cover all the other nice things about the house, so I’ll add: Our favorite restaurants are Zef’s Lighthouse Tavern and Knapp’s City Garage.

Highly recommend

Very clean & updated inside. Lots of attention to details. Good view of the lake/canal & boats! Spacious driveway for parking our truck, bass boat and trailer. Also had hookup for charging. Convenient location close to several boat ramps & restaurants. Very helpful to have the use of garage after a rainy fishing day to dry out wet bibs, shoes etc. Appreciated the snacks, bottles of water, coffee supplies and lots of ice! The kitchen was well stock with all the essentials for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and appreciated the usb charging ports. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to rent - highly recommend!

Fisherman’s delight!

My husband, myself and college age son and daughter stayed at the house for a week in August. It was a fishing vacation, where we brought our 18’ bass boat. It was sooooo nice to have the boat wells to park the boat for the entire week. Electric right AT the boat wells! The driveway! Soooo big and wide! The garage was accessible so we could easily store the boat cover, our camp chairs we brought, fishing rods, etc. The house was clean, and very comfortable. Felt like home. Extra little fridge in the kitchen was a fun find! It took me a day to figure out it wasn’t just another cabinet! Lol! The shower was very nice too! Normal height shower head with good pressure! We enjoyed watching the boats going by in the canal headed to the Cabana Blue restaurant. Great restaurant by the way! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Perfect location

We booked this property for a guys weekend fishing trip. It was the perfect location as we had access to the main lake and could also easily trailer or boat further up the Saint Clair River. Plenty of stores Restaurants, and bars nearby. Will be coming back in June with more friends.

great place on Lake St. Clair

Very clean and comfortable. Exactly as pictured. We came for a fishing weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Our two college-age boys appreciated the snacks left for us when we arrived. This rental has been well thought out, down to every detail. We have definitely found the perfect place to stay for our trips to Lake St. Clair.

I was born in Grosse Pointe and my Grandmother lived so close to Lake St Clair. My fondest memories from childhood were spending time on the lake with my family and our friends. My husband and I bought our cottage as a place to make memories with our family and to share with others. Any day on the lake is a good day!

Our Cottage has the best of both worlds, on a canal with bay yards away. The views are spectacular. You can't rent a better place on the lake when you need to have multiple boats in the water. Our home docs 4 boats. Two in the boat wells and two on the sea wall. There's also parking for up to 4 boat trailers in our property.
