Multiple decks including a 600 sq ft deck to enjoy a drink and cigar on while taking in the lake activity or enjoying a Nettle Lake sunrise! Four good size bedrooms including a 1st floor master suite with master bath! Pull your boat right up to our private dock only steps from the home itself! An assortment of water toys, kayaks and rafts are provided at no charge to our guests! Our guests also have use of our own private "Jase Beach" as well as our "BUB recreation area that includes a pickleball court, volleyball court, disc golf as well as some other awesome amenities! We are also only 4 minutes away from a day of hiking the beautiful Lake La Su An State Park! TRUE LAKEFRONT ENJOYMENT! **Beautiful pontoon available for rent**. **Please note that we want everyone to enjoy their stay at our home but if you are hoping to have a big party, please choose another home. The house inside was as advertised, very clean and plenty of amenities. Outside there were houses very close on either side which was not apparent from the listing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and time on the lake. I would recommend this house to anyone, having a boat would enhance the stay very much.

This lake house is well maintained, VERY clean, beautiful deck and had all of the things you could need for cooking! Will definitely stay there again!

Great location! Immaculate, updated homes with everything we needed. Our family (all ages) enjoyed Nettle Lake and the numerous amenities included with the home(s). Timely responses from owners, and great detailed communication. Highly recommend!

Amazing property

Beautiful home with great view of the lake! All the amenities you'll ever need, the kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots and pans you'll need. Comfortable seating, cozy beds, even nice toilet paper! It is a very relaxing home!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing!! The owners were available with any questions or concerns we had. We felt like we were at home staying here. The only thing i would change would be the check out time that is a little early when you have a family staying. We definitely will be back!

Great stay!!

Our family had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, even better than the pictures. The entire home is well thought out and has everything you could need in the kitchen. We loved sitting around the fire pit each evening. Our days were spent in the water. Swimming, using the provided rafts and kayaks. We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable time! Mike and Sue were kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this home!

Amazing view with everything you need just relax.

We walked in and everything was perfect our whole stay. Mike and Sue have thought of everything. This is a great place for a family retreat, a guys weekend, or a couples getaway. You just can not go wrong. I have stayed at many VRBO homes in the past and none were as clean and thoughtful as this place. We had a great experience beginning to end. 5⭐️s highly recommended.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a great time renting the two nettle lake houses. Having access to all of the water toys was great and Mike was super responsive when the local store was closed and we wanted to get wood for a fire. Overall everything was great and the only suggestion would be for a later checkout time (and later check-in would be fine) since it can be alot to get kiddos all packed up and out by 930. Thanks for everything!!

Relaxing

Great property, very clean. Had all the basics on hand for use. Some of the remotes changed channels/volume on different tv’s in other rooms when using them (Gave us a laugh). Wi-Fi worked good for the kids. Good place if your looking for lake life, a bit of travel for activities outside of the home.

Great family vacation!

Our kids spent the whole trip playing on the huge float pad, and the adults were in the kayaks daily (which were super clean and great quality). We loved the huge deck that had an amazing view of the lake. It was fully shaded in the afternoon so we could escape the sun for a bit while still being outside. The sunroom below the deck was also great- super peaceful! The kitchen was a dream- huge, and fully stocked with quality items (the pans were super nice). And the theatre room downstairs was so cool! The owners were friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. Couple things to be aware of- there is no sandy beach access, in case you need that for younger kids. Also, the steps going downstairs were kind of steep. The master bed/bath (and another 1/2 bath) is upstairs, so that offers an option for someone that can’t do stairs.

Great week with family

Great summer vacation with family. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is an interesting raised triangle table that seats 6 comfortably for dinner and benches for 4 more at the kitchen peninsula . The 3 bedrooms downstairs are a bit sparse with only one bedside table and no lamps or close plugs. The master on the main floor was spacious and beautiful. The pool table and big screen tv were a hit. It made for a great second living space. Direct tv a plus for us but no streaming available. The downstairs screeded porch was great to keep the mosquitoes away after coming in from sitting by the fire in the evenings. The dock on the lake is great for jumping in or floating around. Sandy bottom for the most part at the end. The water is a bit murky. Fishing was good off the dock for blue gill, perch, bass and catfish. Out on the lake we couldn’t seem to get the fish to hit. The kids loved the Lilly pad and kayaks. The floating dock can rock a lot so seniors and little kids would need to be careful. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and stay here again. 🏖️🎣

Great stay!

The house was very clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. it was stocked with all of the necessities. The view of the lake was awesome. Our stay was very enjoyable. While there wasn't any restaurants or other places of interest right there, there are several places a 15-30 minute drive away.

Beautiful home…….couple comments

The home and lake setting was gorgeous. Beautiful views from both levels. We knew when we booked that the home not the ideal location as to the places we wanted to go, but we made it work. Bedrooms in the basement could have been better appointed. One of the bedrooms did not have as much as a nightstand or table. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked with dishes, pans, silverware, glasses, etc…….spacious and lovely with great views. The bathroom in the lower level had a toilet and shower that were two steps up from the floor. Our group is in our 70s and we were fearful of going up and down those steps, especially with wet feet after showering and middle of the night bathroom trips. Having a bathroom so recently updated, we were surprised no grab bars available for a rental. It would have been nice to have Kleenex and hand soap to start the trip until we got to the store for groceries. Not required, but always appreciated. Generally, a beautiful home and settlng.

Excellent stay on Nettle Lake!

This house was absolutely amazing! Everything has been updated, and is very clean. We enjoyed having Nettle Lake steps away from our back door. Mike was excellent throughout the whole process as well.

Hidden Gem in Ohio

What a spectacular summer vacation with family and friends. We had 6 adults and 4 children. The home was exactly as the pictures were online, but even better! We were there Sunday-Friday and basically had the whole lake to ourselves. It was quiet and fun! We found a little spot on the lake where we anchored the boat we rented and spend hours swimming. It was so fun! The house slept us all comfortably. We had two little ones who just slept with their parents. The kids watched movies, played pool and fished off the dock. The parents grilled, hung out in the screened in porch and even did bonfires. It was the perfect trip. We hope to make it back!
