Emerald pleasure is a beautiful villa only 3 miles/5 minutes driving to Disney. It has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms(2 ensuite). Fenced private south facing pool offers you plenty of sunshine while you enjoy the pool. 7 cable TVs, DVD player, and the game room provide you lots of fun without leaving the house. Fully equipped kitchen, quality furnishing and amenities make this your home away from home.
Two master bedrooms, each has its own private bath. Master bedroom 2 with comfortable king size bed and master bedroom 2 has a comfortable queen size bed. Three other bedrooms: one with a queen size bed, two kids' room with two twin beds each that share a family sized bathroom with bath and shower. Watch your own favorite shows in the living room or any bedroom. Relax and enjoy a few lazy hours in the heated private south facing pool. Surf online with free wireless high speed Internet. Have fun with the air-hockey and foosball table games in the game room.

Emerald pleasure is located in Emerald Island Resort, a prestigious gated & guarded community. The resort has clubhouse sauna, fitness center, games arcade, Internet cafe, tiki-bar, 2 heated community pools and spas, volleyball, tennis courts, basketball facilities, children play areas, and much more. Within 2 miles you will find numerous restaurants, bars, supermarket and grocery stores. Emerald pleasure provides you the best mix of relaxation and comfort, luxury and convenience.

Comfortable

We had plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable. Love the location. I do have to say the house needs some maintenance. We had a leaking toilet but management had it taken care of very quickly. Hope to stay again.

Clean but outdated

The place was clean and spacious but the furniture is very old and crappy. Beds are ok. Kitchen was big and well equipped.

Wonderful place

The location is so perfect you are so close to everything. The house was great it is a bit outdated but we loved it. The management is so helpful when you ask them something you get an answer right away. The on site person Mike was wonderful when we called he was there the same day. We liked it so much we are booking again next year

Great house

The size of the house was just what we needed. The second master bathroom has some wet dry wall that should be taken care of. The one thing that we missed the most was that we thought the pool would at least have a solar cover. The reel for the cover was there but no cover. We didn't pay to heat it but the solar cover would have helped to warm it up.

Disappointing Stay - Would Not Recommend

I was really disappointed with my stay. First, the property wasn't ready when we arrived, causing a delay in our plans. It took longer than expected for the host to provide access, which was frustrating.Once inside, it was clear that the property wasn’t well-maintained. The cleanliness was subpar—there were stuff still in the shower and stains in several areas, and it didn’t feel fresh or inviting. The pool, which we were really looking forward to using, was dirty and had debris floating in it, making it unusable during our stay. The furniture was old and scratch up.Overall, the experience didn’t meet the expectations set by the listing, and it was far from the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. I hope the host can address these issues for future guests.

Lots of potential - but in dire of TLC

I'm going to start with cons, so they aren't missed by readers... Pros are at the end. Overall - it was worth the stay; but was definitely not as nice as we were expecting. Cons: - The fridge wouldn't go below 50*. The freezer was fine, but at 50* food doesn't stay fresh for very long. The recommended fridge temperature is 37. They definitely need to get the fridge repaired to ensure proper storage of food. - The dishwasher needs to be repaired, or most likely, replaced. It cleaned the dishes, but was unbearably loud in the process. There is no way you can run the dishwasher at night, or even while you're in the house. - The door to the master bedroom is two inches shorter than the space for it - so there is a 2 inch gap between the floor and the base of the door; this contributed to the lack of sound proofing. - The wood flooring slats they have the pool table sitting on are wider than the pool table. Multiple toes were stubbed on them while my kids were playing pool. This would be a really easy fix - just trim the length of the boards down. - Multiple small things that needed to be fixed - like scuffs in the paint, loose tiles in the flooring, transition between tile floor and wood floors is chipped/broken/uneven. - Multiple drawers in dressers were broken or off the tracks. - Furniture is old and out dated. Couch cushions are stained and not very supportive. - Bathroom closest to pool didn't have working outlets. - Pros: - We loved the location. It was far enough away from the various parks that we didn't feel like we had crowds in our backyard, but close enough that the drive to the parks was not long. - The pool was a great feature; we paid extra for it to be heated and used it almost every day that we were there. - Having the privacy of our own rooms and multiple bathrooms was great for our group of 8 (2 couples and 4 kids). - The gated community gave a comfort of security. - The game tables - Quiet neighborhood/area. - Fun to see the various wildlife: lizards, frogs, birds, even an armadillo and opossum were spotted by people in our party. - Beds were comfortable, with plenty of blankets/pillows. - Plenty of dishes - including some tupperware. The only thing that wasn't available was a baking sheet. We purchased one and left it there.

2-Month Stay Ended with Hurricane Ian

Our first impression was the house was nice and located in a lush, carefully planned resort area. The 24/7 monitored security gate helped set our minds at ease about staying in an unfamiliar place. This is a spacious home with all accommodations on one level. 5 bedrooms. 3 full bathrooms with showers in each. The owners suite has a garden tub separate from the large walk-in tile shower. Full kitchen with nice countertops, newer oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and pantry. Plenty of dishes, cookware, silverware, and utensils. The coffee pot is old but functions. The general house furnishings are in poor condition. The beds aren't comfortable. The dressers are beaten up. There is significant paint wear on several walls. The couch cushions are junk. Just gross. The floors are generally good throughout but there are tile areas where you should be cautious. The blinds throughout need to be fixed. The pool floor is rough and feels dirty, although there is pool maintenance once a week. The place has an unusual smell that never faded after two months. It's such a shame a house that has so much potential and is structurally gorgeous is filled with uncomfortable, dirty things. Especially for the money we paid. Then there was a hurricane. We had followed the news saying things would get rough in central Florida. The house sits downhill from a huge slope. The ledge between the outside to the inside is a couple of inches at most. We started fearing for our safety from potential flooding and had been warned that there might be power outages. I have medical devices that require power, so I ended up finding a hotel ($500+ for 3 nights). We secured things inside and outside the home and got to the hotel. We watched activity on a doorbell camera we travel with up until about 8pm that night. We lost signal as things started ramping up and that's when power went out. When we got back to the place days later there were trees down in the neighborhood and two screens on the pool cage had been destroyed. The food in the fridge was spoiled. We lost an estimated $300-400 in a full freezer and fridge. There had been no communication prior to the hurricane from the owner with any guidance or suggestions about what we should do. We had never been through a hurricane. It seemed like they had forgotten about us or just didn't care. I reached out afterwards and updated Fay and Mike on the situation. There was little concern. No offer of financial adjustment. Disappointing.

Nasty and broken

The house is poorly kept Broken door knobs .Outdated Torn couch .Mold in the vents .Nasty front porch.No lights in the pool We would have left but my budget was already spent and could not afford it. Called and texted re lights in the pool felt it was a safety issue for my grandchildren.No response .We had like 4 plates total and 4 coffee cups.I have pictures if you would like me to forward I will be requesting some of my money back.Very dispointed Possibly my last time with VRBO

Our family loved everything about it. The host (Fay) was phenomenal.

The house was nice and clean. Me and my family will definitely come back. Stores restaurants and amusement parks are close.

Very enjoyable

We were in town for a cheer competition and needed a house big enough for us all. This house is as described and just what we were looking for. The kids loved the pool at the house and even enjoyed the clubhouse pool. We had an issue with the smoke detector and garage door and when told about it the property manager had it taken care of immediately.

Cheerleading Worlds

Emerald Island is my favorite community to stay in when I'm in Florida. I do a lot of cooking and the oven did not work. Also the furniture is all old and fabric was very stained. I did not feel comfortable sitting on the sofa nor dining room set without covering the material with a towel. The appliances and furniture definitely need to be updated. Other than that the house itself was very clean. I love the open floor plan and all of the rooms being in the same floor.

Excellent rental experience

This property was great for our family. Lots of room. So close to the parks which was great after a long day. Was clean and inviting on our arrival. Kids enjoyed the house pool and the large resort pool. It does need some updates. The oven wouldn’t heat properly and the dishwasher was crazy noisy. We would stay again. All our concerns were addressed promptly.

Family get away

This house was perfect for our stay. We had my parents, my in laws, and my two adult children. It was plenty of room. Unlike other Vrbo places we have stayed at there is nothing left over from the other renters like cleaning supplies, detergent, or salt and pepper, etc. It wasn’t a big deal, just so you are aware of it when you buy things for the week. The only small complaint would be that the TVs in the bedrooms are a bit small, lighting in the rooms are from lamps so it is a bit darker, and the beds are stiff. But all doable and not that big of a deal. The neighborhood felt safe and clean. The people at the club house were really friendly, and we would stay there again. Had a great time.

Good stay but needs updating

Fay is a good host and was quick to reply our emails. Fay does what she can do to make your stay a good stay. The property manager was not easy to get a hold off so Fay did it for us. The kitchen appliances are getting old and would need to update soon. Also the beds in 3 rooms need a fix or a update. The location is great and the pool is nice. I would stay again at Fay's house.

Short distance to Disney and Universal

We stayed in this house for a week with 10 people. It's a short distance to just about everything. The house is clean and spacious. Make sure to pack cleaning supplies, the house didn't have dish soap, sponges, laundry detergent and only 1 trash bag for a week stay. Also the pool doesn't have a constant pump so it was never clean enough to swim.
