Summary:
Take a sip of style in this freshly renovated home. The Mint Julep by Housepitality, is a great place to stay during your time in Columbus. This 3 Bedroom 2.5 Bathroom home is a great place for friends and family trips, work trips, or travelers. 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the 2nd floor, and a huge 3rd floor room with 4 beds! Our location in the Franklinton neighborhood makes it a short ride to lots of great restaurants, art studios, breweries, and downtown Columbus.
The Space:
Your group will love the amazing renovation that was done to this historic home. An amazing local designer and contractor have designed this house to be the perfect short term rental. The first floor is an open kitchen and living room for your group to eat and socialize.The first floor also has a 1/2 bath and office/mud room. On the 2nd floor you will find 2 nice sized bedrooms with 1 full en-suite bathroom and another full bathroom. Up on the 3rd floor there is one huge room with 2 double beds, and 2 twin beds.
Guest Access:
Garage is off limits from all guests
The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood Franklinton is full of historic homes, and is currently in a revitalization phase. There are lots of properties being renovated, and a few that still remain boarded and empty. Our area is full of families with children, and close to schools, parks, and churches. This area has experienced some crime in the past, but has improved in recent years. We have been in this area for over 5 years, and have never experienced any crime or safety issues. Most of our guests love the location and proximity to downtown. If you or your group are not comfortable with this, then you may consider booking a different house. Just message us, and we are happy to help you find the right house for your stay!
Getting Around:
Our location is about a 5 min drive west of Downtown Columbus. Lyft and Uber are great in our area. There is a commercial area our house is about a 20 min walk to Land Grant Brewery, Brew Dog Brewery, Upper Cup Coffee, Rehab Tavern, and Strongwater. Our house is about a 2 minute drive to the freeway, and makes it a quick drive to most any spot in Columbus.
Other Things to Note:
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:
$35 (Less than 5 nights)
$50 (5 - 30 nights)
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)
