Scandi-Chic Retreat in Madison-Pets stay free!

Welcome to the Rocket City! Stay and enjoy our completely renovated 3 bedroom/2 bathroom single-family home with a fenced-in backyard and 2-car garage. The house is in a convenient neighborhood location, with easy access to Redstone Arsenal, HSV airport, US Space and Rocket Center, manufacturing plants, and shopping centers. It is also easy to get to downtown Huntsville.

The decor is inspired by our family travels in Europe and tastefully decorated in Scandinavian/mid-century modern style, emphasizing functionality. The Master bedroom has a king bed, 42-inch Smart TV and ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo. The other two bedrooms each have a queen bed. Each bedroom has a dresser and hangers so you can put away your clothes to feel more at home. There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room, and laundry hampers in each bedroom for convenience during longer stays. The living room features an electric fireplace, ceiling fan, and 55-inch Smart TV.

In the evening, enjoy the lounge area with a round of cards and a drink in a vintage glass. After a day of work, relax outside on the patio under the pergola and Italian lights. Grill out dinner on the gas grill. Youtube TV and high-speed wifi are included.

The kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs, featuring a Nespresso Vertuo machine with milk frother in addition to a 14-cup drip coffee maker.

We are parents ourselves and we understand the challenges of traveling with little ones. The house is stocked with a travel crib and high chair. If you have any other baby/child needs, please ask and we will work to accommodate you.
There is plenty of room for pets and kids to play in the fenced-in backyard.

We are local hosts, so we can provide local recommendations, but we are also hands-off and won't disturb you unless you have a request.

Our guests' security is of the utmost importance, so this house also features a Ring video doorbell with two-way communication.

We also allow longer term rentals for temporary employment, TDY, job/house hunting, home building, etc. We are willing to work with corporate rentals and government per diems (including sliding scale per diem).

Another great stay

This is our second time staying at this property. We love the location off County Line Road. The hosts are outstanding - great communications, very accommodating, and supply the house well. It is very clean and the kitchen has all you need for your stay. The TVs have all the apps loaded - easy to get to your favorites. We had a lot of rain so spots in the back yard got muddy - fortunately we had a dark towel with us to clean our dog's paws before it came back inside.

Great Little House

The home and furnishings were beautiful and clean. The only thing I would suggest would be small repairs (broken blind in front room, patio door lock, refrigerator water dispenser leaking), but these weren't deal breakers. The parking was adequate enough to support a large F350 with a trailer and my sedan. Checking in and out were a breeze. There are some great food choices close by aling with a Publix.

Perfect in Every Way !!

The Hosts have truly thought of everything. Very well appointed kitchen, an abundance of clean linens and towels, numerous nice little touches (blow dryers,hair accessories,first aid kits, etc) The pergola with Italian lights in the back yard was so relaxing in the evenings. Also was nice to have a garage rather than parking on the driveway. So many nice little touches too numerous to mention. The Hosts were responsive, professional and very friendly and welcoming. This is an A+ property and A+ Hosts. We would stay here again and highly recommend this adorable house.

Christmas holiday

The host responded promptly to any concerns or questions. The unit was very clean except for the backyard and the rugs. Rugs could use a good cleaning as they have a distinct stinky dog smell. We thought it might be our dogs, but then later realized it was the rugs. The backyard also had a lot of dog waste that had not been picked up from previous occupants. The host did order a poop scooper for us to use, but it didn’t arrive while we were there.

Convenient to Huntsville, Toney, Ardemore, Harvest, Elkmont, shops, grocery chains, antique stores. Comfortable beds, fully operational kitchen, clean and nicely appointed bathrooms and lovely back yard. All the comforts of home.

Great home for our short stay

Excellent property!

This house was perfect - it was in a quiet neighborhood (well, mostly...it was the 4th of July weekend so there were fireworks but you can't do anything about that), and the fenced in yard was great for our doggos. We would definitely stay here again! Communication with Seth was great - he even made sure there was a baby gate for the house for us to corral our littlest dog while we weren't there. Everything was super clean - we were really impressed!

Family visit

We came down to visit my son in Huntsville and this house was perfect for it. The location is great to get anywhere in town. As long as this house is open we will stay in it every time we come to town.

Met and exceeded all expectations

It’s as fun as it looks (love the decorating), plus CLEAN with a wonderful yard. All amenities provided for, which was a nice touch. Host was easy to communicate with, and quite understanding.

Amazing hosts with super trendy place

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our hosts were very accommodating, even providing a crib, high chair, and super adorable toys for our 1 year old to play with. The house is super clean, super convenient to area attractions, and has been the perfect venue to host our daughter's first birthday with our Alabama friends and family. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great Stay

We needed a place to stay while closing on two home sales and one purchase. We needed a place that was pet friendly and reasonably close to our new home. This couldn’t have been better. I never figured out the tv real well and we never used the one in the bedroom, but the wifi was great. Perfect for a week stay.

The interior and equipment were all in like-new condition, very clean and organized. The big yard was perfect for our small dog to sniff squirrels. Owner was responsive to the very few questions I had prior to the stay.
