This delightful condo is an END UNIT! Located on the 3rd floor with beautiful views of both the Choctawhatchee bay, lazy river and tropical pool oasis from front balconies. This 1br/2ba unit comfortably sleeps 7. The décor is clean and contemporary with soothing colors and furniture meant for comfort. The warm and inviting master bedroom features tile flooring, a king size bed with Temperpedic mattress and a chair that folds out into a twin size bed, flat panel TV, a private balcony, and private master bath with a shower/ tub combo. The kid-friendly bunk room includes twin bunks with memory foam toppers to make the beds comfortable even for adults, TV, a door for privacy and is located near the guest bathroom. The family room offers a full sofa sleeper, TV, DVD. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a side-by-side fridge/freezer with a water and ice maker, dishwasher, oven with smooth top range, and an over-the-range microwave. Extra touches include a Keurig, crock-pot, fry daddy, new mixer, blender and toaster. A stackable size washer/dryer is provided for your convenience. The unit is tiled throughout and offers complimentary Wi Fi Internet access. Staying in this condo is a wonderful way to experience a fun vacation at this great family resort.

The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort offers the best of the Island! Soak in the 5000 sq. Ft. Gulfside pool, float in the 700 foot Lazy River, or just relax on the white sandy beaches. Enjoy the 7 pools, and use the skybridge for easy access to both sides of the resort. Destin West is walking distance to so many great attractions. The Boardwalk and fishing pier. If you prefer to explore, Okaloosa Island offers miles of Gulf and Bay beaches that are perfect for outdoor adventures.

The property was great. It was more equipped than we initially thought so that was a great surprise to see all the beach chairs and toys left behind by others! We even added to the collection:) The condo had just enough room for our family of 5.

It was great!! We even got early access at around 12 pm instead of 4 pm. During a thunderstorm with lightning an employee David with Coastal Vibes gave us a ride so we didnt have to walk the bridge he was so kind.

Great condo with nice amenities right outside

This condo was super clean and well furnished with everything we needed for our four night stay. Appliances and furniture seem to be newish. The weather wasn't ideal for the beach a couple of the days we were there so staying on the bay side and having quick access to the pool was a plus. We also swam in the bay and it was fun to see little fish all around. Sunrise from the balcony was absolutely beautiful!

Great Family Place to Stay!

This is a great location and with amenities! We all enjoyed the pool area! There was a huge lazy river, heated center pool and 2 hot tubs. There is direct access to a bridge that takes you to the beach. The condo was nice end unit and had a great view of the pool and plenty of parking spots. The host always replied quickly if I had any questions. We had a wonderful time, thank you!!

Family Vacation

Had a wonderful time at Destin West! The property was very accessible with the pools on the bayside with the bridge granting access to the beach side. Bayside pools were heated, lazy river was chilly but perfect when the sun was out! The unit was well furnished but needs a little updating.

Fort Walton 2025

Beautiful property and space for family fun! We have stayed at multiple units in the complex and have enjoyed them all. HOA is trying to enforce rules at pools and will not allow you to play your own music or play with toys except at designated pools. I appreciate this, yet find it hard to find a spot on the complex to relax and play with kids. Also, enforcement of rules was not consistent so it caused confusion and frustration among guest and staff on the property. One staff member stating she was calling the police! Enjoyed our stay, but will look for a new adventure next year.

Great Family Vacation

The condo was cute, clean and a great location to lazy river. Just a short walk to the beach. We've been to Destin West the last 5 summers and this condo was the best! We had an absolute blast with family and friends that stayed at Destin West also.

Very clean and nice. Everything we needed

The only thing is the mattress on the couch was not comfortable. My daughter had to buy a blow up mattress to sleep on. The dryer didnt work, but they let us use a dryer in another condo until they came to fix it. They also brought us all the towels we needed since we couldnt dry them. They were prompt in fixing things.

Short family get away

Very nice property. Enjoyed the Lazy River! Washing machine works, but is crazy loud and pretty slow cycles so plan accordingly 😊. We had a great time and highly recommend.

Great place to stay!

This is our second time staying in this particular unit. It’s one of the cleanest units we’ve stayed in at this resort. It’s very Easy to get to the lazy river from this unit. Love the decor. All around great stay and will continue to book this particular unit.
