Welcome to Wine Trail Lodge! 🍷This newly remodeled ranch style home is open for guests. Located in the heart of the beautiful Fingerlakes on the main wine trail, you will find comfortable accommodations for 6 (with a sleep sofa in the livingroom for 2 extra). It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a livingroom area, and a kitchen/dining area with a coffee bar! Complete with a washer and dryer. Also has Air conditioning and WiFi! No TV.
Use the deck for a cookout on the grill with family & friends or enjoy a cup of coffee listening to songbirds on a quiet morning 🌄. There is a fire pit and chairs in the backyard. Also space for outdoor activities!
A short hike on a nearby gravel road will bring you to a road view of beautiful Seneca Lake. There are 12 wineries within a 10 mile range! Visit Herman Weimer Winery who won the best winemaking award of the year! Watkins Glen State Park is 10 minutes away. Other tourist attractions include Shtayburne Farms, Watkins Glen State Park, Hector Falls, Science Center in Ithaca, or take a day trip to Niagara Falls.

The location is excellent for attending events at the wine vinyards in the area. It was clean with a homey vibe. The snacks, wine, and bottled water were appreciated. Our main issue was with the sulfur odor (that rotten egg smell) that permeated the house whenever water was used. It was hard to ignore. I hope they can remedy that for future guests. Notice from the listing that there is no TV or dishwasher. We didn't miss the TV, but a dishwasher would be good, especially since they ask guests to wash and put away the dishes before check-out.

We had a great experience overall at the house for a wine weekend with friends. The only thing that came up that was a pain was some ants on the kitchen counters that got into our food overnight. Not a huge deal because ants happen sometimes. This wouldn't deter me from staying here again though! Great location!

Great place to stay! The house is conveniently located to surrounding stores, dining and wineries. Very clean and comfortable with Plenty of comfortable furniture in living room. We didn’t do any cooking while we were here so can’t comment on any utensils or cookware. Lucille was excellent and very responsive to all of my texts. Thanks for an excellent experience!!!!

Very nice home conveniently located outside of Watkins Glen. Even though it was on the main road, it was still very quiet. We didn't realize there was no TV in the house when we reserved it, but we were busy enough not to miss it. Property manager and owner very responsive.

Central location for exploring the Finger Lakes

We were on our motorcycle trip to explore the Finger Lake area of New York. This property was centrally located for what we planned to do, provided a home base for 2 days. We also enjoyed a bonfire in the backyard one night after a long day riding.

Central Location to Lots of Fun

Property was clean and well equipped. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. Good location for all the places we wanted to see in the area. Water had a sulfur smell but it didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay.

House was very roomy. Very nice and clean. It was cold outside so we were not able to enjoy the outdoor deck and fire pit. Definitely would’ve used with the wine we got from the wineries we visited.

Chocolate and Wine weekend

Very clean, well equipped house. We were there for the Chocolate and Wine weekend on the Wine Trail. Had a great time. The weather was not the best. Snowy Saturday and Sleet/Rain on Sunday but we had a great time. The only thing I would add would be a tv for bad weather days. Overall a great place and great host!

Mellon Lake Girls Trip

girlfriends visited from Ontario Canada. This was a great location, we went to Watkins Glen and park and then wineries on Sunday. the cottage was very nice and host left us little treats and wine!! We would use this location again
