Balcony view was excellent! Shower was nice-King bed was VERY hard! -Kitchen was poorly stocked; no Keurig, no ice machine (only 2 ice trays with nothing to empty into), no cookie sheet, no pot holders, no Tupperware-Door was difficult to open-hot tub area was so chlorinated it made our eyes burn -

Cozy Condo! We had a great trip in Orange Beach!! The Condo is quiet and centrally located, the pool was nice and the beach was fantastic. There are beach services at an additional cost but was very convenient. The condo is an older unit and shows it's age in places but everything is functional. We did not find anything we didn't have there. Overall a great place to stay!!

Not recommended....

Will not be back. All 6 guests had very old and completely flat pillows and beds are very uncomfortable. For the price a condo they could at least provide pillows that aren't well used. Only 6 towels (one per person) and 2 trash bags provided for a week stay. The wifi router is missing in the room. When contacted about it they kept telling me to reset the router over and over (that is missing). Also, the bedroom TV remote has no batteries and the back is missing. So no TV and no WIFI. So im thinking we get automated repsonses when texting the customer service number as instructed. The beach location was nice and quiet. But i still highly recommend a different condo so you dont feel like your sleeping on a old cheap Motel 6 bed.... hard to enjoy vacation with a sore neck and back every morning and lack of sleep

Not a favorite

This unit had a few issues, the railing on the balcony was loose, the television in the master bedroom wouldn't power on, the patio furniture and front door were rusty. the timer for the hot tub next to the indoor pool didn't work in all the modes and the hot tub was too small. wouldn't stay here again.

Tidewater is an older building. Also it's a smaller complex which I loved

check in and check out was amazingly easy. They provided 2 parking spaces. They beach was easy to get to (I'm 75yrs old so that mattered. The beach service was very costly, about twice what I've paid before.

Location

Location was good. Pool was fine. View wonderful being right on the beach. The condo needs updating big time. Toilet paper holder was missing in the master and just the little things. I wouldn’t want to sleep on the pullout couch. It wasn’t very clean looking so my 3 kids had to share 2 twin toddler bed looking things. There’s not a lot of room in the extra bedroom. Loved having 2 bathrooms though. Master tub didn’t even have a stopper. Just the little things needed to be upgraded. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until they upgrade

It was nice place to stay right on the beach.

Just was missing a tub stopper for the jetted tub. It could use pot holders and extra frying pans to use in the kitchen but otherwise the condo was clean and very comfortable to stay. Good location on the beach with nice beach views.

Summer vacation

This is the second time we have stayed at Tide Water but different unit. The location is great no problem with noise. Easy access to the beach. My only complaint was the pots and pans poor quality ice trays broken blender should be replaced.

Furniture was old and dirty, dishes were dirty, only 4 forks in the drawer, condo needed an over all overhaul. King mattress was HORRIBLE. You had to put a pillow on the outside of the bed to keep from falling off. Would never rent again!

I loved the location. The room was run down. The microwave smelled like cigarettes smoke. The closet in the bedroom with twin beds smelled like a locker room. The sliding door in the master bedroom was stuck. Will not stay in this room again.

Great stay - right on the beach

This location was perfect for our needs. I booked it from Tuesday thru Saturday. Right on the beach...the unit was right above the pool...there is a great little donut shop right across the street and I walked there every morning for coffee. There is also a seafood restaurant right across the street that we ate from one night. The Wharf is great....Tanger is great...OWA is fantastic. The unit was perfect for us to shower and sleep and it was close to everything. Could it use some updates? Sure. But do I really care? No. The location was spot on and the unit was clean...that's really all I care about. There was plenty of parking. It was 3 of us...I slept in one bedroom, my mom slept in the other bedroom and my teenage daughter slept on the sofa. The balcony is great - the balcony can be accessed from the living room and from one of the bedrooms. The complex also has an ice vending machine down by the pool....which was very convenient. If you're looking for a place with all the glitz and glam, this unit probably isn't the place for you but if you're looking for some place on the beach with a pool, beachfront access, plenty of parking, and a clean unit --- this is the place for you.

Take your own linens

This property had an excellent view, and was in a good location. However the pool closes an hour early than most other pools on the strip. Their are no extra linens for the sofa bed. There is no extra towels or enough for the amount of people that this room claims to hold. Cleanliness was so-so. It needs a good deep cleaning. Little curly hairs left all over the bathroom behind the door. Their was also a bloody area on the bed skirt that we tucked under the mattress to keep it away from us. Do not waste your time trying to open the bedroom sliding door to the balcony. It barely budges and any force will rip the handle off. The wash machine and dryer are nice sized and the kitchen had enough post and pans to cook meals with. The refrigerator was nice large size to hold everything.

Clean but well worn unit

Have stayed in Tidewater in various units for about 20 years. Pictures showed it well. Clean and everything worked, but well worn. Could use some new furniture and curtains. Could not find any pot holders in the unit. Will continue to stay in Tidewater we like the facilities.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I and 3 grandchildren (who live with us) needed a quick getaway. We found the unit clean & well equipped with a wonderful view of the Gulf. The unit has a balcony off the living room and master bedroom, and a jetted tub in the master bath. A 2nd bath off the guest bedroom and opening into the hall was helpful for the five of us. It is an older unit with some obvious wear, but nothing that deserves a poor rating. We were also able to have a late check out for a minimal fee, as no one was checking in the same day we left. Just as an FYI (not a complaint at all), there really are only starter supplies, so make sure to bring your extra paper towels, TP, and garbage bags, salt & pepper, etc. Also, the lock is time operated, so if your check in is at 4:00 pm, the combination code will not work until 4:00 pm. We would love to come back and stay again some time. We have a great weekend, met some wonderful people and staff members.

Update need done

The furniture needs to be updated or painted. No dust ruffle on beds, curtains were hanging off the rods in a few places. Counter top was missing a piece. Balcony was dirty, chairs were old and cracked, sand needed to be vaccumed up. Overall, the place just needed a good cleaning and updated. The kitchen did not have good pots and pans (we didn't need them this trip). There was nothing special about the unit. However, Vacasa did response to our complaints. Unfortunately, we would not book again.
