Right on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Yachtsman Resort is an oceanfront treat that won't break the budget! You'll be in the heart of everything--restaurants, amusement parks, and bars are all at your doorstep.

The space: This spacious 813 square foot condo easily sleeps 8. Both the main living area and the master suite enjoy ocean front views. The main living area includes a full kitchen and dining area, a queen-sized sleeper sectional and an amazing oceanfront view. There is one (1) full sized bath off the main living area that is shared with guests who sleep in one (1) bedroom featuring two (2) full sized beds. There is also a spacious oceanfront master bedroom suite featuring a king bed and private bathroom with a Whirlpool tub. Please note, there is NO BALCONY, though the photos give the illusion of a balcony. Parking and Wi-Fi are included.

Guest Areas: Enjoy the beautiful patio with heated outdoor pools, hot tubs, a children's pool, shuffleboard, and a picnic area with BBQ grills. If it's raining, take advantage of the indoor pool. The activities desk offers access to discounted tee times and tickets to area shows and attractions.

Please note: the Yachtsman requires a $200 Refundable Security Deposit upon check-in. The security deposit is refundable after an inspection of the room is completed, after check-out.

Nice Place

I liked that it were 2 bedrooms, and the appliances were full size. We had fun at the pool and waking distance to everywhere.

Great location

The location was outstanding. So close to the beach and all the action of Myrtle Beach. The building needs a little updating but the unit was immaculately clean. There was a problem with the reservation before we arrived and once I was as able to get someone on the phone both VRBO and the property management company were incredibly helpful and the problem was resolved immediately.

Its ok

Not bad for a one night stay. View was great, location was also good. Couple of little issues. Furniture is not very clean, some trash leftover from previous guest and as long as you don't mind the smell of weed 24/7, not a bad place.

Ok stay

Only thing I didn't like about the resort is they don't bring you clean lining everyday or every other day we have to use the the same towels and rags for the whole days that we stayed

Convenient

We stayed here for a cheer competition at the sports center. Super close to everything. Condo is a little outdated but did the job for the weekend. Nice to wake up to the waves! Biggest complaint was the room closest to the road, can hear EVERYTHING all night long-Motorcycles, drunk fights, people yelling. Bring ear plugs or white noise to drown it out so you can sleep.

Disappointed

Very outdated property, ceiling falling down over kitchen sink due to roof leaking, bugs, no water for several hours, shower made a shrill noise when in use, poor water pressure. We left after the first night

First of all when I viewed the property online and when I got there it wasn’t the same viewing I saw online it said the washer and dryer was in the room mine wasn’t I understand it was two different location but online it didn’t say that the manager on duties was very sweet I wanna say her name was Renee so lovely bt we did have good time bt disappointed with my room next time I’ll make sure I’ll ask for the name of the place thanks again

Things that were broken or not working properly.

Hall bathroom the water was not draining the water properly, second bedroom closet door hinge was broken. Master bedroom the drawers did not open in close properly. The maintenance man came in fixed the problems except the drawers, over all it was a nice trip.

We stayed at The Yachtsman. It s located about 2 blocks from what used to be the Pavillion area.

The convenience for restaurants, arcades, and carnival rides is great! However, it is a little loud as there is a lot going on in the area and folks are demonstrating happiness. It is potentially unsafe for a single person walking in the outside area at night, especially women. Example:.my daughter-in-law walked about a block down the street to buy some laundry detergent and a man called her an undesired name. She felt really uncomfortable. The Pier 14 Seafood Restaurant was awesome. It is located on the 14th Avenue Pier. Being on the ocean front was something I would never want to give back even though some of the doors inside our unit were busted so that the privacy wasn't possible with a 2 year old with us. The unit was clean and included everything we needed. However, it could really use an overall updating.

If you like roaches this is your place. Day 2 into our stay I was sweeping the kitchen floor and a big roach came out from under the refrigerator and crawled under the bathroom door. The next day we went to the beach my wife took the umbrella out to open it up and a roach was crawling on the underneath of the umbrella. We got home last night and left everything in the car with the fear we will bring the roaches into the house. The kitchen was a mess, the appliances were rusting with paint over the rust. The countertop was falling apart in the back and the sink was lifting away from the countertop. The air conditioning duct had all black mold in it so we didn’t use the ac. The bathroom was bad too, the tub had black mold coming through the chalking and the bath fan didn’t work, kinda like it was blocked and was blowing back into the room. Thank god we were only on the 4th floor because the elevator location was in a very uncomfortable and unsafe area so we used the stairs. The heated pool that was not even opened, we had to use the pool to the other hotel 2 buildings away. A great location with beautiful views and it’s a shame that this place isn’t taken care of better.
