Out of the Blue - Luxury 5500 sq ft home on North Beach

Welcome to Out of the Blue, a luxurious 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom home nestled in the historic Monroe Park area of South Haven. With a generous 5500 square feet of space, it stands as the largest property in the neighborhood, making it the perfect getaway for multi-generational families. Spectacular sunsets await you on the wrap-around decks situated on the 2nd and 3rd levels, providing a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. And the best part? You can enjoy North Beach just a minute's walk from the front door without any stairs to climb!

The first level of the house boasts two spacious bedrooms. One of them features a king bed and bunk bed, making it ideal for a family. The other room comes with two custom-built twin over queen bunk beds, perfect for teenagers and adults. Both bedrooms share a generously sized full bathroom.

On the second floor, you'll find a beautifully designed open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer captivating views of Lake Michigan. Sliding doors open up to the wrap-around deck, creating a seamless connection with the outdoors. The well-equipped gourmet kitchen overlooks the great room, making it a chef and entertainer's dream come true! Additionally, this level houses two more spacious bedrooms. The master suite comes with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, while the other bedroom boasts a king bed as well.

The third level is dedicated to fun and relaxation. Guests can enjoy the newly added pool table, comfortable sectional seating, and a game area overlooking the beach and lake. And, of course, there's the luxurious main master suite and bath, providing the ultimate in comfort and privacy.

Please note that during peak season (Memorial Day - Labor Day), this home requires a minimum 7-night stay, from Saturday to Saturday.

Our home is available to responsible and respectful families and adults who will treat it with the same care as if it were their own. Michigan Reunion

We were gathering with a group of lifelong friends for a vacation reunion. The house was perfect. Tons of room with many bedrooms and bathrooms. 3 floors with many lounge areas, large TV’s, pool table…. the list goes on. The house was well stocked with many extras that you don’t find in other VRBO homes. Coffee, snacks, games, etc. Everything was well planned. The homeowner, Anne, and the local manager, Gibby, were extremely helpful. We will be back!

Amazing house / location

House is very nice, very clean, and has fantastic views of Lake Michigan from the decks. Great place for a week long or weekend getaway. House is like 100 feet from the beach so you can’t beat it and its location to town is super close. I would definitely stay here again.

The perfect get away!

My family and I had the most amazing stay at Out of the Blue. It was by far the nicest vrbo we have ever stayed in. The home itself is absolutely stunning with 360 degree views from the top 2 floors. We ended up having rain for part of our visit, but were completely fine hanging out inside the gorgeous home. The kitchen is updated and stocked with everything you need to eat in. Every bedroom is spacious and has a tv. We loved that the beds were all king sized as well. We had my 5 month old and 3 year old with us and loved how much space we had to spread out. The beach is super close and easy to walk to while carrying kids/beach supplies. We also walked to Captain Lou’s for lunch which was easy to get to as well. The host was very kind and extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Best House in South Haven

We go to South Haven every year for Labor Day weekend and this is without a doubt the best house on North beach. It’s the best location with everything walkable and right near the beach, the interior is really beautifully done and there are tons of activities to do if you stay home for the night with the pool table and board games. Additionally the amenities were all provided for with shampoo/conditioner/towels etc in each bathroom and there were plenty of beach chairs, towels and even a cooler ready to go for the beach. I would give this listing more than 5 stars if I could.

Family fun in the sun

Out of the Blue was an "out of this world" vacation home. My family of 10 enjoyed a week of beach fun with every detail taken care of. With 2 babies, vacations can sometimes go sideways but there was plenty of room for naps and the main floor gave lots of running around space. The beach was a 1 minute walk from the house and we had great weather. There were beach chairs and toys provided and we used them everyday. The kitchen was perfect for a large group with everything we needed and any questions or concerns were quickly answered and attended to so we could enjoy our time together. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect long weekend

We were looking for a long weekend stay within driving distance of the Chicagoland suburbs, and this was the perfect location for that. We were focused on spending time with each other, walking around the community, and just completely decompressing. The property was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of space and things to do for our family. We hope to return again later this year!

70th Birthday Weekend

If you have the opportunity to book this property, don’t pass it up! We had the most wonderful stay at Out of the Blue. The photos don’t do the property justice. The house has everything you would need, is clean, comfy and is located the best location. Anne and Gibby are fantastic property owners/managers. We’re already talking about returning next year.

Great property for a group of 8 to 12 near North Beach. All the amenities needed for group meals in spacious kitchen as well as toys for the Beach. Fantastic Game Room & TVs throughout.

Perfect Family Vacation

Our family had the best stay at out of the blue. You can not beat the views and proximity to the beach. The house was so clean and welcoming with everything we needed. We traveled with a 5 year old and 6 month old and the house was prefect for kids. We can’t wait to go back!

This was the perfect spot for our family getaway! The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need plus more! It’s an easy walk to the beach and a short drive to the shops (we walked most days). Anne and Gibby are very communicative and only a call/text away. We will definitely stay here again when we make it back to South Haven.

Our group had an amazing time at “Out of the blue”! The host was so kind and accommodating and the house is everything you would hope it to be. Perfect Weekend Away

What a wonderful experience we had staying at Out of the Blue. The house was clean and well stocked. Everything you could possibly need was available. The amenities were that of a 5 star hotel. Anne and her team were beyond welcoming from the moment I booked the house to the day after we checked out. I couldn’t have asked for a better get away. We are already talking about coming back!

Perfection!

What an incredible few days we had at out of the blue. From the very beginning of booking, until check out, Anne and the property manager went above and beyond. Super accommodating, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. We were traveling with 2 new babies and a few older kids, and she made the stay so smooth. Location is amazing, house is beautiful and spacious. We cooked quite a bit and the house is fully equipped with everything you could need! We can not wait to book our next stay here!

Spacious and Beautiful

Out of the Blue is an absolutely beautiful property! The home was cozy enough to have great conversational moments with my family and spacious enough to allow everyone their moments of relaxation and peace. We had an awesome game night with so many games to choose from. We were able to cook together in the modern kitchen without bumping into each other and eat at the large island and huge dining room table, allowing for elbow room. The sound system allowed my sisters and I to listen to our favorite music while my adult children listened to their music on the game room upper level. I could go on and on from the showers, comfortable beds and of course, the location! I especially appreciate Anne’s and her property manager, Gibby’s, hospitality. This was my first time using Vrbo and renting a property vs staying at a hotel. What an awesome experience it was! Thank you Out of the Blue team for providing great customer service and a home my family will have great memories of.

This was our best VRBO experience ever!

This home was exactly as described, and then some. Most places we’ve stayed in the past have only allowed limited paper products, cooking supplies, etc. No need to worry about any of that here! We had plenty of everything, plus lots of games/puzzles, popcorn, coffee/tea, pots and pans, serving dishes, cooking utensils…the list goes on…. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were amazing. Only 2-3 cars fit in the driveway, but additional parking was only a minute walk away. The views were spectacular, especially from the upper level. We were impressed with the owner and Gibby, who is the property manager; both responded quickly and were very professional and welcoming at all times. This visit was for our annual family Christmas celebration, so when we arrived to see the home was even decorated for Christmas (with a tree too!), we knew the 5 star reviews were spot on. If you’re on the fence about this property, let me assure you, it’ll be one of the best you’ve stayed at…we’ll be back for sure.

Girlfriend Weekend!!

My experience renting this property was phenomenal! Anne was an absolute wonderful hostess!! She was good at given us great information about the surrendering area for wineries and food…. She has everything you need and more! The best thing about the property was not only that it was beautiful but clean. This property gets a 10 out of 5 stars for me!!!

Sunset watching from the privacy of your own deck(s). A 1 minute walk ( no stairs) to beautiful North Beach. All beach supplies (chairs, towels, umbrellas) are available for our guests use.
