Secluded yet within minutes of your favorite outdoor activities!!

Each of our rustic cabins are wonderfully decorated and cozy! They each have a fireplace in the living area with large spacious windows looking out into the forest, smart tv's, dvd's, big comfy sleeper sofas and chairs, fire pits with lounge chairs, front and back porches with sitting areas, fully stocked kitchens, charcoal grill, dining areas inside and out, 2 bedrooms with fresh linens, and a bath with fresh towels.

We take extra care in making sure each cabin is meticulously cleaned and each guest feels welcomed with Community coffee, a selection of tea, hot chocolate with marshmallows, and all the fixings to make smore's!! As a bonus, you will find locally made and sourced goat's milk body and shampoo bars and lotion for your bath!

We love renting places that are off the beaten path because you get totally immersed in nature.The sights, smells, critters and peace of mind. Relaxation at its' finest....The cabin was just the right size for two people, very well organized kitchen with good cookware, which is what I am looking for,but rarely find. Thanks for that! The beds were so comfortable, the couch and overstuffed rocker were the best we have had at a rental. It was clean and cozy, but one thing we looked forward to each morning and evening is the visits from our two protectors that came for treats and kept the critters away while we enjoyed the firepit each evening. It is also located very close to the Buffalo river which is our favorite place for rock hunting that perfect rock for your garden. In our case...mucho rocks! Loved this cabin and thank you for sharing!!

We absolutely loved staying here. The cabin was a 10/10 with cleanliness, accessibility, host communication, location was secluded and we enjoyed everything! This was the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. You can tell it is well maintained. We will be back soon with our girls. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. I have already sent the location to family for our reunion we have in July

Perfect weekend getaway

The cabin was perfect for our needs, with little extras that made it special, like marshmallows for smores and neighbor dogs who were very friendly. We were glad to be in an SUV for the driveway/road. Kayaked the Buffalo National River and it was beautiful. Outfitters is only about a 10 minute drive. Wonderful! Will return.

Spring Getaway

We had a great stay in the cabin. It was really well outfitted and very clean. Lots of great seating on the back porch. Really convenient access to Buffalo floating and hiking.

Peaceful weekend retreat

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in the blue door cabin! It was the perfect place to unwind as a family and enjoy nature. I loved how secluded it felt being surrounded by trees! We had a wonderful view of the moon each night and enjoyed the morning light through the beautiful big windows! I felt like it was the perfect location with plenty of places nearby to hike and enjoy the Buffalo River. We liked that it wasn’t too far from town, so we were able to grab lunch and ice cream with our kids one afternoon which they really enjoyed. The cabin was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Our kids enjoyed the board games and the two sweet pups that visited each day! They spoiled them with treats :) We also enjoyed painting river rocks as a family outside on the back porch one evening. We didn’t get to use the fire pit unfortunately due to a burn ban that was in place which we were super bummed about but that didn’t stop us from having a good time! The ONLY negative thing was the driveway to get up to the cabin was a bit steep which is to be expected but it was very uneven and rocky in places going up so I was a little nervous that we might not make it up but we did! Thank goodness my husband was driving LOL. I would definitely advise to drive a truck or suv. I don’t know if a car could make it! Other than that we had a wonderful time and everything was PERFECT. We hope and plan to be back some day!!

Great little cabin in the woods

Wonderful cabin. So cute! Clean, comfortable, close to the Buffalo River (Grinder's Ferry). 7 minute drive to the canoe outfitter. Stocked with nice extras. Good hot water, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds.

Lovely weekend getaway

Great spot, great view, cool deck, fire pit, nice charcoal grill. Cabin interior is cozy and well stocked, with plenty of room with excellent huge glass windows for the sunrise and sunsets to show through. Loved it.

Great getaway

This is a great getaway spot- quiet, friendly neighbor dogs, great AC! We had space to leave our ATV trailer while we weren't using it. The owners were quick to answer any questions and offer suggestions! The only thing is the road leading up to the house is "washed away" and would be difficult to drive on if you were not in a SUV or truck.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay at this cute little cabin in the woods. The location was perfect. We were just minutes away from the Buffalo River and we were even able to make a day trip to Branson. Frances was the perfect host. The kids loved the s’mores she left for us. The fire pit, grill, and porches make this cabin in the woods just perfect.

A lovely little cabin in the woods. Nice distance from the other cabin. Buffalo river access for swimming and canoeing about 10min away. Comfortable cabin with a good little kitchen and a nice outdoor grill and fire pit. Plenty of games provided including a great corn hole set. Bring good bug spray/ tick repellent. It is in the woods. We had a great time and would love to return.

Perfectly amazing!!!

This cabin was in the most convenient spot for all the activities you can do “floating, hiking, site seeing, etc” me and my boyfriend will definitely be coming back to stay again! It had basic household essentials fully stocked and a perfect scenery!!!! We also had 3 extra guest the doggos they were so sweet and very well behaved and LOVED the treats that were left on the top of the fridge just for them!!!! We had an amazing stay!!!

Rustic but brand new cabin in the woods.

We had a wonderful stay! We all appreciated the thoughtful touches such as scented soap, S'mores (!), sunrise coffee and yoga on the deck, proximity to our Buffalo River float location. The online photos look like old cute cabins, which is why we selected them; we were pleasantly surprised to find them new and comfortable - lol. Lovely job with materials and design that looked and smelled like my parents actual log house in north Arkansas. As my husband needed to do a little work, he very much appreciated the WIFI and granddaughter and I enjoyed watching movies. It was great to return from our river trip to such cozy accommodations! Of course, the surprise visits by the neighbor dogs made our granddaughter very happy! (may have gotten a little carried away with dispensing biscuits - sorry).

Perfect getaway

The cabin was wonderfully welcoming, clean and well built. The setting was quiet and secluded. Kitchen had everything we needed plus little extras from the hosts. It was perfect for our family of 3. Lots of games and movies for staying in and great hiking or canoeing nearby. The very polite neighbor dogs were good company, too. We highly recommend the Fox Trot cabin!

Lovely cabin and setting

Throughly enjoyed our February stay at Fox Trot Cabins. The cabin is well appointed, comfortable(even the pull-out sleeper sofa) and well stocked. We took advantage of the working fire place and deck as well as its proximity to Buffalo River hiking. Be prepared to take it slow on the last quarter mile of road to reach the cabin. Our mini van made the trip unscathed and we'll definitely be back.

The cabins really are centrally located. They're within minutes of the Buffalo National River and world-class hiking. Experienced mountain bikers and rock climbers from around the world come to experience our trails and beautiful bluff lines. Need some urban adventures? Branson, MO, Silver Dollar City, and fantastic attractions are 75 minutes north. If your looking for small town, take a stroll down main street in Leslie or Mountain View and find some wonderful vintage shops and restaurants. We have several recommendations on restaurants, shops, and river outfitters. Don't hesitate to ask!
