This adorable beach cottage awaits! Conveniently located about 1 mile from the Ocean Isle Bridge or 2.5 miles from the Sunset Beach Bridge on the mainland. Close to area restaurants, golf and shopping areas. Open living room/ dining room, with leather sofa for comfortable seating. Open covered porch area with seating for enjoying that beach breeze!

Short visit

The house was cute and well stocked. The front door know didn’t hold very well though. All in all, it was very nice and we thank you for letting us rent the home.

A Short Best Friend Adventure

My best friend and I stayed at this cozy location for a few nights and days. We were able to visit the Kindred Spirit mailbox and catch up on life. It was nice to be only a short drive away from Sunset Beach and Bird Island. We enjoyed being able to relax and decompress. Thank you for sharing your home with us for a short time.

Incorrect location

Extremely disappointed to arrive to find that the location of the cottage was not as described on the website which was on the actual island within walking distance to the beach. The cottage was on a very busy loud main road. The cottage was decorated cutely and had towels , shampoo , and soaps set out. The owner was very prompt with communication when reserving and checking in/out.

Cozy ocean Isle beach retreat

Tanya was such a pleasure to communicate with and so accommodating. This house was clean and so cozy. Had all the necessities available and then some (towels for bath and beach, hair dryer, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods). I had forgotten to bring soap and there thankfully happened to be a few sample size bars of soap in the bathroom. So grateful for that. Dollar general is literally 2 minutes up the road as well as Sunset Slush Italian Ice. My husband and I are now addicted. They also have soft serve ice cream. Not all ice cream places have soft serve if that’s what you like. The beach is just 5 minutes away as well as shopping and a variety of different restaurants. Thank you Tonya for everything. It was truly such a pleasure to stay in your home. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back and staying here next year.

If you like birds and no sleep, stay here!

It was a cute place, clean, kitchen well stocked, lots of towels and toiletries in the bathroom and they have games to play under the TV, that was nice. They also have a flock of loud annoying birds in the living room wall that have come in the chimney. They were so loud we barely slept at all the entire weekend. Also the bathroom sink was severely clogged. Also, the trash can behind the house had trash overflowing out of it, a long with 4-5 bags of trash on the ground around it. There were so many flies they kept getting inside, not to mention the smell was so foul we couldn't even sit outside on the porch. When I mentioned the birds to the host, she said they had been there before but thought she had it fixed. Nothing was done to accommodate us. Its potentially a great place if they can take care of things better. Location wasn't too bad, about 5 miles from sunset Beach and 2 from Ocean Isle .
