Great Place to stay in the Nelsonville area. Only 28 miles from the Hocking Hills State Parks. Less than 2 miles from Wayne National Forest's Monday Creek Trail Head for ATV Adventures. Direct Access to the Long Ridge Trail System. It's also only 2 miles from Hocking College, 11 miles from Ohio University, and 2 miles from Historic Downtown Nelsonville.

This is our "back unit" that is accessible from the gravel lane that runs along the side of our property and has a gravel driveway/ parking area.

Nice Studio apartment. The only complaint is the Bed is terrible and needs replaced.. There was a large soft spot in the middle and my wife and I would fall into it throughout the night.. If it is replaced I would stay there again..

Mammoth hike at Burr Oak

Very clean, had everything I needed for my stay. My trip was for a long distance hiking event at Burr Oak state park. It was great coming back to a warm shower and comfotable bed after the big hike.

Cute and convenient

This was my second time staying here. So i knew it was a good for for my weekend trip. It's a comfortable space for the two of us to stay in. I appreciate having a kitchen to cook and prep things to take over to our friends camp site. The host was very responsive when I reached out. We had a minor scheduling snafu, but we worked out a plan that we were all agreeable to. Conveniently located on a quiet road just outside of Nelsonville. It's about a 30 minute drive to get to some of the popular hikes in Hocking Hills. Looking forward to staying here again next year. I will definitely be booking my trip further in advance this time!

Perfect for Two

This was the perfect small, quaint, quiet little house/apartment for my husband and I. We were visiting Hocking Hills State Park for the weekend, and this was just about a 20 minute drive to most trails/caves. Pretty clean with everything we needed!

Great comfortable cozy stay

Thanks for letting us stay. It was perfect for our weekend hiking adventures at hocking hills. Warm shower and comfy bed was just what we needed after severla hours of hiking each day :)

OU Mom's Weekend

My daughter and I were cozy and happy in this space. It was just what we needed. She did some homework at the table, we relaxed in the living room and watched some tv together, cooked a favorite meal and baked, too. The bed was VERY comfortable, as well. Daniel got back to us right away when we had questions, too. Not very far away from Athens. Great spot and host. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great weekend!

Nice little place near Athens

This property is about 20 minutes from downtown Athens. Clean and comfortable, and far more cost effective than a hotel for Dad's or Parents' Weekend at OU.

Perfect location

Love the location. A friend and I took a trip down so we could hike the hocking hills state park and this was only about a 20 minute drive from there. Very quick to respond to any questions! Not sure why all the negative comments on the bed, I'm very picky about beds and I slept just fine! Also loved that there was coffee and sugar provided. Sometimes it's the little things that count!

Quiet, comfortable little cottage for two

We stayed here for the weekend and went hiking at Hocking Hills. Our car broke down near one of the trails the night before we were leaving. I called Daniel and asked him if it was okay to have our vehicle towed back to his place until we figured out where to take it the next day. Not only did he agree but he said we could stay as long as we needed until we got our car fixed. He also offered to pick us up and bring us back to the rental. The next day he had his step-dad come over and he let us use his battery charger and he gave my husband a ride to the auto part store. Daniel and his family went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and they wanted nothing in return. We are so glad we stayed here. You don't get this kind of service when you stay in a hotel. The rental was a cozy little studio and it was exactly what we were looking for. It had a large refrigerator and all the cookware and dishes we needed to make breakfast. It was the perfect size for the two of us. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again!!

Cozy cottage

Stayed for a weekend at this property to explore Hocking Hills scenery, roughly 20 min from here. Home was clean and neat. Photographs were provided to help with where to park. There were reviews about the bed being uncomfortable, but I completely disagree, very comfy! We did not cook so I can't speak to that. Very pleased with our stay!

Great place. Needs a new bed.

Clean, fine place to stay. There were no more rooms for OU graduation and this place fit the bill. It was a lot less expensive and we had more room. The drive was not bad as it is all freeway and 10min away. My only complaint is the bed. It is Monday and my back still hurts.

Nice little place.

The home was clean and very nice. The owner was friendly and quick to respond when I inquired about the heat source. Nelsonville, OH and the surrounding area was very confusing for me to get around.
