Enjoy a peaceful visit to the heart of Ohio in this quiet and cozy cottage. The Buss Stop offers great amenities to unwind and relax, including a private porch, full-service kitchen, two sitting/living rooms, and a private covered carport. The Buss Stop is located in quaint Apple Creek, Ohio and is in close proximity to Wooster, OH. We are just a short drive from notable local points of interest, such as the College of Wooster, Wayne County Fairgrounds, The Ohio State University’s agricultural research facilities, and various Amish country attractions.

In addition to the listed amenities, The Buss Stop also has a gas grill (with provided propane tank) and an outdoor fire pit for guests to use.

Paul and Sandy were the best host. The cottage was perfect and we loved sitting on the porch in the morning having breakfast. They checked to see if we needed anything when we checked in and then made a great suggestion for our dinner. There were plenty of extra touches that made our stay even better. This is somewhere we would stay again.

It was a very relaxing rural countryside peace & quiet home and location! All amenities were outstanding and the host was a pleasure. Everything was excellent for our weekend! Amazing Weekend!

Our stay at the Buss cottage was amazing. Could not have ask for better hosts! The love and dedication invested in the cottage were evident. The immaculate and serene atmosphere, combined with personal touches, created a memorable weekend. Check-in was effortless, and the cottage was equipped for in-cottage dining & relaxation. We look forward to returning in the fall next year.

The location was wonderful, central to everything but still felt private. The porch was well used, the birds were amazing. Clean with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay!

Cottage in Apple Creek

Owner Paul was very friendly and helpful. Nice fire pit area. Owner provided an excellent Cinnamon Loaf etc. Temperature control in the house was good. We enjoyed the living room area and the TV. The house was very clean. Washer and dryer were nice to have. Beds were comfortable. Good maps and brochures about the area were helpful.

Peaceful and Cozy

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Buss Stop. Although we were away most of the time, the house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host greeted us upon arrival and was very kind. If we head to the area again, we would not hesitate to book this property again. Thanks for a great stay!

The house was so peaceful and the surrounding area. So very clean and the hosts were friendly and whatever we needed they took care of right away. We are so glad we came.

Family visit

Beautiful quiet area to relax and unwind. Gorgeous property if you’re looking for a place to sit and unwind. 15 minute drive to Wooster where you can find some great restaurants and shops. Nice layout if you have children or a second couple where you need some separate areas. Upstairs bedroom height is a bit cramped and stairs are a little tricky but the overall property is great!

Beautiful cottage

We took our family to the NFL Hall of Fame and had a fantastic experience. We loved relaxing in the countryside and enjoy the peaceful location. This is a beautiful location and id love to stay here again.

Amish Getaway

Paul and Sandy were great hosts. Paul was very friendly and enjoyed our chats. Enjoyed the Amish countryside and enlightened on their way of life. The guys visited the NFL Pro Hall of Fame which was close. Home had everything needed and was peaceful and restful. Loved the blooming of dogwoods and tulips. Would visit again, if in the neighborhood.

Wonderfully provisioned!

Second time staying here and we were struck again with the how well the host pays attention to every detail. Every little detail is thought through with notes and instructions neatly and helpfully provided. We're looking forward to the next excuse to stay again!

Beautiful inside & out

We absolutely loved our stay at The Buss Stop. The property is beautiful and the house inside was perfect. Truly a home away from home. We met the owner, Paul, shortly after our arrival. He was very kind and we enjoyed learning about this Buss Stops history. Thank you Paul and Sandy for providing such a wonderful experience. My sister and I are already talking about coming back later in the year. 😊
