Welcome to Simon's! For a short or long stay, we would be delighted to welcome you to our 70m² gîte located in the beautiful village of Montfort, 4km from Sarlat. Unique, warm, and comfortable, come and discover our little haven nestled at the foot of Montfort Castle. A jewel dating back to the Middle Ages, it has had a turbulent history over the centuries, destroyed and rebuilt six times, and it spectacularly overlooks the Dordogne River. In a setting with oriental touches from Morocco, enhanced by the ochre color of the typical Sarlat stone, come and experience the charms of the Périgord Noir. Enjoy an unobstructed view of Montfort Castle from our garden below the fortress. Find the river 200m away, starting point for numerous hiking trails, restaurant and bakery in the village, free parking on site.
