Our Shouse is a small apartment packed with everything you need for the perfect weekend enjoying the great outdoors in or around Coulee City -- A BBQ for your grilling needs, a horseshoe pit to spur a little friendly competition, a fire pit to satisfy your camping urges and a fish cleaning station for cleaning your catch after a long day on Banks Lake.
When you are ready to retire for the night the Shouse offers a queen size bed or relax on the sofa and watch a little TV. The Shouse has electronic access for your privacy and convenience.

Friendly Centrally Located
Like visiting the guest house of your favorite rural cousin. Easy access to everything Grand Coulee. Very accommodating, generous and kind hosts. Coulee is a very small, almost deserted town with extremely friendly residents (the ones we actually saw) and a wonderful park on the river.

We were beyond disappointed. There was glass in the front yard, that my dog was chewing on, potentially could be very bad outcome. There was barely maybe no cleaning done at all. The bedding wasnt even washed. Even the bathroom wanst touched, like you couldn't see the dirty toilet. Worst than the motel 6 on a bad day!!

Great “Shouse”/Great Vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Shouse” in Coulee City and really appreciated the personal touches throughout the rental that made the property feel very welcoming. The “Shouse” had everything we needed to be comfortable for our visit and provided a superb base of operations for days of fishing expeditions. There is excellent parking for a boat and trailer, and then the Coulee City Boat Ramp is just a few blocks away for quick access to Banks Lake. We had a great time, and thank you to the Ewings and Natalie for being awesome hosts!

Cozy and home like feel
Checking in was easy and communication with the owner was easy. The Shouse was cozy and tidy. It had the at home feel. There was a bbq, fire pit and outside games. As a guest I felt very welcome with the little notes and guest basket. There was a lot of thought put into making their guests feel invited, which is nice.
Thank you for sharing your place with us. We look forward to coming back to fish!

We are Damon and Tricia Ewing. We have been fishing and relaxing at Banks Lake In Coulee City for many years. We raised our three boys fishing on Banks Lake and we cannot think of a better way for a family to connect than a weekend at the Lake.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
The intention of the Shouse is to provide a cozy and clean climate controlled environment for outdoorsmen. The living area of the unit is small and is best suited for two or three people. There is a nice queen size bed in the bedroom and a full sized couch for sleeping. The kitchen is equipped with stove, microwave and refrigerator. If you like to prepare meals just bring your own ingredients. The living room has a comfy leather sofa and a recliner. TV is set up in case the weather isn't cooperating and we do have some games, puzzles and books provided too. Outside we have set up a most everything you need for outdoor "play" including a fish cleaning station for cleaning your day's catch.

Our Shouse is a small living quarters off of the main shop. (The shop is not accessible to guests) It has all the amenities you need in a small little tidy apartment. The exterior has a BBQ stove (briquettes), Fire pit and a fish cleaning station.
