COMPLETE RENOVATION IN 2020! Nothing compares in Tremblant.... With its 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, our beautiful and luxurious townhouse is ideal for couples, families and business travellers. Air conditioned, our mountain retreat can accommodate groups of eight comfortably. Cathedral ceilings with skylights & wood burning fireplace. SKI IN/OUT on the Nansen slope (a rarity), on the sought after side of the pedestrian village/resort and steps from hiking, snowshoeing and alpine touring trails.

Be among the first ones to experience Nansenhus 153 reinvented. Completely rebuilt in 2019 and completed in 2020, our mountain retreat offers an upscale kitchen and three luxurious bathrooms, four bedrooms and enlarged living room, heated ceramic floors and a 120sq. ft skier's dream mudroom!

For a few days or a week, be part of the exclusive Nansenhus community. Owned by one of Tremblant pioneer family since it was built almost 45 years ago, our retreat is now available for your next mountain getaway. As we are respectful of our neighbours and of our family oriented community, we make sure to choose guests who espouse the same values. Please note that is NOT a party house; it is a home.

Bright corner townhouse with cathedral ceiling and skylights. On the ground floor, you will find the 120 sq. ft mudroom designed for skiers and active guests (including the washer/dryer) the living room, dining room and the kitchen (Fisher Paykel and Bosh appliances) in an open area concept with river stone fireplace, a bathroom with large shower and a tub for two also communicating with the first bedroom (king bed which can be divided in two extra-long twin beds). On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms (king size bed which can also be divided in two extra long single beds ) and a full bathroom with a large shower. On the third floor, you will find the master suite (king bed which can be divided in two extra-long twin beds) with an open concept bathroom (large shower) a separate toilet and a private balcony.

Great ski townhome

The property was great for two families with four children. It is very well equipped to hold ski equipment in the mud room, including boot warmers!

Perfect!

We spent 4 wonderful days/nights at Nansenhus and can’t wait to go back! The ski-in/out condo is inviting, cozy, and comfortable and is conveniently located just minutes from the lifts and the village. This ski-home is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for 4 fabulous days at Mt. Tremblant. We appreciated all that the hosts did to make us feel at home in their home-away-from-home!

Fantastic Place

Nansenhaus was the perfect spot for our crew. Within in minutes to the trails and ski straight to the door after a long day of skiing. All the amenities were provided for and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone.

Great Place close to Mountain

This place is great for a group ski trip. After a short walk up a hill, you can ski right to the bottom of the mountain. The entire home was very clean and up to date and Francois was a great host. I’d stay here again.

Paradise in the Snow

Tremblant was a dream, the hospitality and home were both perfect. The ski-in/ski-out location and a quick walk along a wooded path to the village make the location of this home unbeatable. Every detail is thought of in the house to make it a home away from home. Beautiful wood burning fireplace stocked with wood, cozy living room and a kitchen with everything you need for dinners in.

Wonderful property and hosts

We spent a long weekend at the property. The condo is lovely and more than lives up to the online photos. Also very well appointed with soaps and linens. The hosts are equally wonderful and very attentive. A five-star location, guaranteed.

Great Time

Family enjoyed a great time in Mont Tremblant. Francois was always responsive and everything was smooth from pre trip, check in and check out. Location was great for family of 4 + small dog. Only negative was the uphill walk to the trail. We normally stay at the Fairmont, but this location is a great choice as well. Definitely would come back again!

Amazing summer chalet

We used the chalet as our home base for an event nearby. We were 6 adults and had plenty of room. It was ideal to have all the amenities and make it our "headquarters" for the weekend. Impeccable on all fronts - cleanliness, beautiful space, decor, proximity to the mountain and village, etc. Even if the appeal is ski-in/out, it's a fabulous summer retreat.

Cozy, Thoughtful, and Perfectly Located Townhome – A Memorable New Year Stay!

We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The hosts went above and beyond, welcoming us with a bottle of champagne and a charming ornament for our Christmas tree, as we celebrated New Year there.The personalized name baskets for our hats and mittens were such a thoughtful touch!The townhome is in a great location, features a cozy wooden fireplace, and has incredibly comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need—and more! Every detail was carefully considered, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Family Ski Vacation

Francois's townhouse was the perfect location for our family ski trip! We enjoyed the convenience of skiing in/out each day. It was nice to be near nature, but at the same time we were just a short walk to the village to enjoy other activities. The townhouse was cozy and furnishings were beautiful. We loved how large the couch was, all 7 of us could curl up after a long day of skiing! Great memories were made here. Thank you again for sharing your home with us, we can't wait to return!

Wonderful week at mountain gem!

We had the perfect week here at Nansenhaus. The property was impeccable with so many thoughtful touches. The kitchen had every convenience you could want. The living room was spacious and comfortable and the fireplace was amazing. Providing starter logs and firewood was very considerate and we truly appreciated this! The access to the mountain was simple and convenient both on skis and on foot and our kids could come and go as they pleased. We were very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to walk to the pedestrian village. Merci Beauvoir to Francois Leclair for being an excellent host!

First time to Tremblant

Only wished we had stayed longer. Francois was such a great host!! He responded quickly to anything we needed. His home has all the amenities you would want. We especially appreciated the amazing entrance area to organize all of our ski gear! The heated floors were also amazing. Walking to village was unexpectedly convenient. It is a little challenging to get up incline and out to slope (but we were aware this was the case) but with our older kids it was fine. Hope to get back to Tremblant again!

Wonderful family ski vacation

Our family enjoyed a wonderful ski week at Francois’ lovely home in Mont-Tremblant. The house was warm and inviting, beautifully decorated, large enough for our crew of 6 and a dog, and furnished with every amenity we could possibly need. We especially appreciated the entry mudroom which was outfitted to hold all of our skis and gear. The location was great - a short walk up a hill to be able to ski right to the mountain. The hill did not present any problem for my group, which included a 75 year old man and a 9 year old boy. We were happy not to have to take the car or a shuttle to the mountain every day. We also enjoyed the convenience of walking to the pedestrian village with its lovely shops and restaurants. We had a memorable ski vacation and my grandsons are already talking about returning. Francois was a wonderful, thoughtful host and we highly recommend Nansenhus 153 to anyone planning a trip to Mont-Tremblant.

About as perfect as you can get

4th time to Tremblant in February to ski, but by far our favorite place to stay. Francois was a great host, with quick responses to questions, an immaculate condo with everything you could need, and thoughtful touches to make our stay special. If you're skiing, be prepared to hike up a short but steep hill each morning to get to the trails and to get the blood going, but it was never an issue as we had great snow throughout. I can imagine it's a little tough if things are icy, but there are alternate ways to get to the slopes of course. At night, the location allowed us to easily walk into the village for dinner or a drink with friends and family. It was always nice to walk home in the cold after eating, to a warm and relaxing condo with a wood-burning fireplace and a heated entrance! The place was more than enough space for two families of four to share, and the beds in the master suites were VERY comfortable! We definitely look forward to coming back next year and staying with Francois again- thank you for a great stay!

Owner of an award-winning boutique hotel in California for 15 years, I am thrilled to open our mountain getaway to discerning guests who will appreciate our attention to details, the efforts and resources put into it, treat it as their own and be respectful of it and our peaceful community.

Possessing a Master in Fine Arts, I have a passion for architecture and design only matched by my love of culture and travel as well as for the many sports activities available year round in Tremblant: running and cycling and swimming (Ironman 70.3), alpine touring, downhill and cross country skiing as well as tennis.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Living in an iconic modern building from the 60's in Montreal, we fell in love with the features of the Nansenhus 70's ski chalet the first time we set foot in it. Owned by the same family since it was built in 1973, this first unit of what would become Tremblant's first community on the slopes had remained mostly untouched and true to its laid back and warm spirit. After a few years planning and reimagining its next incarnation, we embarked in 2019 on a major reconstruction and enlargement project (only the basement and its characteristic river stones fireplace and spiral staircase remain) which delivered a brand new Nansenhus that retains all its original cachet with today's comfort and amenities.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Very few properties in Tremblant are truly ski in... Nansenhus is one of them. Skiing out is a matter of a few minutes walk or climb. Nestled in a quiet community on the exclusive lakeside of the mountain, it is less than 5 minutes through a magical path and over a bridge overlooking waterfalls year round, to the lively pedestrian village. No need for shuttles here!

Rarely are homes of that level of comfort, with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, a real fireplace and air condition, offered for short term rentals in our neighborhood. We are actually one of only a few legally permitted to do so in the Nansenhus community.

Originally a winter destination, its lovely terrace and the year round activities now practiced in the area make us a favorite of our guests no matter the season. Cycling, hiking, golf or tennis are only a few of the possibilities once the snow has melted.

This chalet is our own mountain getaway and we use it a lot as well as well as share it with family and friends. Therefore, no efforts nor resources have been spared to make it luxurious yet comfortable. My design and hospitality background have allowed me to use all I acquired from these years in those industry to create our own haven in Mont-Tremblant. We are often complimented on our attention to every details and the house is decorated throughout with curated art or mementos from our travels.
