COMBE DE LA DAME - Charming, fully renovated stone house - private pool & garden
This lovely stone property dates from the 1850's and has been recently completely renovated, and offers 160m² of spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to 9 guests. It is full of character, set on 3 levels, and enjoys a lovely garden and private pool.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION:

On the middle floor:
A glazed door leads directly into a large living room full of original features such as the exposed beams and stone walls, offering two distinct spaces:
- The cosy sitting area has a large open inglenook fireplace, 2 sofas, armchair, flat screen TV, occasional tables and lamps.
- a dining area with a large solid wooden dining table, chairs and buffet
* The modern kitchen is fully equipped and comes complete with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer and all the usual culinary equipment you might expect.
A corridor leads to:
* the first bedroom with views over the garden and pool, offering a large double bed (160cm), wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps
* a fully tiled shower room offers a walk in shower, washbasin and a suspended toilet.
A wooden staircase leads down to the garden level which comprises:
* a double bedroom again with a large double bed (160cm)
* a twin bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps
Both these bedrooms benefit from a direct access to the lower terrace and the same view over the rear garden and pool.
* they share a lovely modern shower room with a walk in shower, vanity unit and washbasin
* a separate toilet completes the lower floor
From the middle floor, another wooden staircase leads up to the third floor, nestled under the eaves:
* a vast bedroom has a large double bed of 180cm wide (which can be separated to make two single beds), a single be and pouf. This modulable bedroom is ideal as a family or children's bedroom
* A third beautiful shower room with large shower, washbasin and toilet completes the top floor.
The property benefits from oil fired central heating, combined with a fireplace in the lounge it is very comfortable in low season.

* a terrrace with table and chairs at the entrance to the house is ideal for a sundowner whilst appreciating the view over the surrounding countryside
* a covered terrace running the length of the house equipped with tables and chairs and a built in barbecue is ideal for al fresco meals on hot summer days or cooler eveings.
* a private pool, measuring 7m x 3.5m, is set below the house. There are sun beds, umberellas, drinks tables and other chairs for your use around the pool.
* The large garden has grassed areas, ideal for ball games
* Parking for several cars at the end of the private lane

The house is built on the hillside and there are several terraces and low walls which could be dangerous for young children.
The building to the right of the main house on the photos is part of the property but closed - there will be no one else on site!
