Historic, restored cottage in the heart of the Village of Pinehurst. The Pink House was built by the Tufts family in 1930, and has lovingly been restored to its original beauty with the addition of many modern amenities. Quick and easy walk to some of the country's most desirable and world famous golf course, The Pink House is a golfers dream location and perfect for families. After a long day of golf or exploring the area, relax outside by the fire pit, or walk to some of the Village's best restaurants, bars and shops.

Wonderful stay!

House was lovely with beautiful recent upgrades. Location was perfect with an easy walk to the village or spa. Owner was accessible and attentive. It was perfect for a spa girls weekend away and we plan to come back!

New Year’s Eve family getaway

Place was extremely clean and very walkable to Pinehurst Village. Plenty a room, great TVs to watch, a nice kitchen and breakfast area. We would definitely look to rent again if we come back next year.

Great location for wedding at Pinehurst

Stayed here with our adult kids and their partners, 7 of us altogether. House is charming and wonderfully restored with a fantastic location walking distance to village of Pinehurst.

Wedding Weekend

We were in Pinehurst for a wedding and stayed at the Pink Cottage. It was great for two couples. The location was perfect for quick walks into town and for quick drives to the wedding events/golf. Highly recommend!

perfect cottage within walking distance to everything in the village. house was tidy, clean, cute, and had everything we needed. had dinner in the patio, sat in the backyard and just relaxed. perfect couple days

The house was beautiful, could have used sponges in the kitchen and bar soap in the bathrooms. Also the hand soap in the bathroom was very watered down. Probably just a housekeeping issue. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come again.

Pink Perfection

Nicely updated, perfect space for our group of 5 and easy walk to village and the Holly Inn. Only thing I'd note is that the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door and has a skylight in the ceiling. And while there was shampoo/conditioner/body wash, didn't like the scents. We loved playing cards game at the dining table with all the windows!

Thanksgiving at the Pink House

There was no place to hang up towels. There was a sewer odor towards the front of the house and in the front bedroom.

Didn’t have the correct Internet code so we couldn’t use the TV the first night. Communicated with the owner and they got us the code right away, but we still could not get the TV to work. The icemaker was broken and we didn’t have ice. I can’t communicated that to the owner and they brought over ice the next day. The shower in the back bedroom was very small and hard to get into because the door closes onto the commode. The bed in the front bedroom was not very comfortable but that’s a matter of taste I guess. Great location within walking distance to the village, the Carolina Inn and many of the restaurants.

Wonderful cottage in Pinehurst

We loved the Pink Cottage and hope to stay there again. The location was great as we walked to dinner several nights and enjoyed the village of Pinehurst. The home was recently remodeled, very clean and had great character. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property for a trip to Pinehurst.

Couples golf trip

Wonderful place with a Great location close to Pinehurst village. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. I wish they had supplied bath soap, better coffee mug and a win opener that worked. Now if that is all you can complain about you know the place is great!!!

Birthday Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this quaint beautiful cottage. Well appointed and clean. Great location, just a short walk to town. Would definitely come back again.

Perfect for Weekend

Flew into town for a golf weekend in which the owner allowed us to check in a few hours early which was great! Perfect location to walk to places for food and drinks and very close to all of the great courses in the area. Nice and updated!

Cute property in a perfect location

Cute cottage. Nicely appointed. The location is absolutely perfect for walking to all of the Pinehurst shops, restaurants, and the resort itself. Owner responded to all communication instantly. IMPORTANT NOTE: You need to bring any toiletries (soaps/shampoos) and kitchen sundries, including coffee, along with materials for utilizing the fire pit. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Cute property quiet location

I stayed at this property while I was In town for a work conference. There was an issue with booking the hotel, so three colleagues stayed with me. We are all working moms and looked forward to a rejuvenating weekend of sleep without toddler interruptions. Overall that was provided. There were a few communication issues with the owner. I’d asked about different amenities and didn’t hear back. I was hoping to get some work done but wasn’t sure what to expect so no I’ll have to work more on Monday. Also, I came straight from working an event in the rain all day and needed to shower at the VRBO before heading to the conference. Unfortunately, check in was delayed because I didn't get the code to the house and I had to go to the conference in dirty jeans and muddy boots. Kind of a bummer. The interior was not spotless. The floors had a lot of dust bunnies like it’d been empty for a while. The toilets were left mid-clean like they had started them but forgot to finish, so they were streaked with blue cleaner but not wiped down. The best part was the half-eaten hot dog on the table under the lazy Susan. I moved the board to clean a spill and almost passed out because I thought it was a finger. Which leads to my next point… I think this has been recently renovated because it’s gorgeous, but there were some minor things that were a little inconvenient and unnoticed unless you actually stayed at the home. There are no blinds on the public space windows which was a little creepy so my friend said “It feels like there could be a murderer watching right now.” (Leading to spill and subsequent hot dog discovery). The bedrooms were luxurious but didn’t have curtains, which felt unfinished to me. The lack of curtains weren’t problematic until I laid down to sleep but the position of the bed lined up with street lights perfectly. Curtains would have made the stay more comfortable. The shower door in the main bedroom doesn’t stay shut while the shower is running, so you have to hold it closed. The shower door in the back bedroom, the door opens the wrong side (toward the spray). So don’t try to warm the water or you’ll get a very wet floor and drenched clothes. We didn't try to use tv or wifi. We didn’t try to cook or anything. Literally just slept and showered there. A gorgeous home, but owners should stay overnight to address all the inconveniences.
