Echo Lake Lakefront Cabin in picturesque Qu’Appelle Valley,

Lake front open concept cabin located on the north shore of Echo lake. Centrally located, forty minutes to Regina, 60 minutes to Yorkton. Cabin comes fully furnished as well as a bbq, screened in porch, and second story deck with gorgeous lakefront views. Deck by waterfront , dock, gorgeous setting to relax. Cabin has wi fi and smart TV. Approximately 4km to fully serviced Fort Qu’Appelle, including hardware stores, gas stations, EV charging station, grocery store, restaurants and a hospital. Winter sports available: beautiful winter hikes, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, access to groomed trails for ski doing, and skating at Echo Lake Provincial Park(Loop) and in Fort Qu’Appelle. Junior Hockey games in Fort Qu’Appelle. Summer activities: Swimming, dock-on site, walking trail 3 miles to Fort Qu’Appelle (leashed dogs allowed), swimming areas, splash park, play grounds, and boat launches available at Provincial Park, Fort Qu’Appelle and B-Say-Tah. Swimming lessons available at B-Say-Tah starting July 1st. Farmers market on Saturdays starting May long weekend to September long weekend. July 1st parade and celebration. Several craft/pottery stores and craft markets throughout summer. Surrounding area has many historical sites: Bell’s Barn, Motherwell Homestead, Woseley swinging bridge, Jewish cemetery etc. Close proximity to Pasqua and Katepawa lakes. Older Nintendo available on request. Canoe available for use. Cabin is equipped with paper products, RO water , propane and other essentials for your initial visit.

Cozy clean cabin with beautiful views and everything you need. We really enjoyed our winter get away but would love to check it out in the other seasons as well. Host was friendly and helpful.Heads up to anyone with mobility issues, there are lots of stairs both from parking area down to cabin as well as bathroom and bedrooms located on second floor.

Everything as described, a lovely winter stay. Lots of nearby outdoor activities and the place is big enough for a family of 5 to not feel on top of eachother if you do get stuck inside.

We had a comfortable stay here on our first time in SK. The neighborhood was peaceful and the view of the lake was gorgeous. We brought my father along and did not anticipate the number of steps he'd have for access to the property and to the single, upstairs bathroom. Norah was very pleasant to work with, great communication when needed.I will add that the well water does have a very strong/unpleasant smell that is noticeable when washing your hands and showering. Their is drinking water provided by the host, but the smell of the well water is definitely notable. Overall it was a nice place to stay. Clean, nice kitchen, and relaxing!

The cabin is fantastic. All the comforts of home with the coziness of an old cabin, and right on the waterfront! Norah (the host) was fantastic and texted to stay in touch and check in throughout the visit without being pushy or nosy. She even texted halfway through our stay just to make sure we had everything we needed. This felt like staying at an old family cabin on the lake. The screenporch was a particular favourite.

Great Holiday

Check in was easy, the hosts we great and responded quickly to the 1 minor problem that arose. The included kayaks, canoe and peddle boat kept the whole family occupied. We caught many fish right off the end of the pier. The property was great. Comfortable beds, televisions with all the apps in every room. I highly recommend this cabin for any family getaway.

Fun and relaxing

My friend and I spent our birthday weekend at the Parrots Cove. It was conformable and relaxing. We had everything we needed. Beautiful look to the lake.

A peaceful, waterfront cabin. Perfect for a get away vacay

This is a wonderful cabin to destress It is a waterfront location with a nice deck, close to the shoreline. The cabin is very neat, tidy, quaint and very clean. Everything you need is right there. The floor plan is unique with the winding staircase going up the to the bedrooms upstairs. In the master bedroom there are comfy chair that face the lake with a deck to sit on outside. Norah and Wyatt are respond quickly wth any concern. They are lovely people that care about your stay, and are ready to help with any questions. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this cabin to someone that is looking for a restful time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lovey place

Ski trip to Mission Ridge

Great location close to the ski hill. Cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent communication and very helpful host.

Amazing! But hard to find at night

I had booked parrot cove for taking my best friend out for her 30th birthday. And our stay was absolutely amazing.Nora is so on point with getting back to you on any of your queries, and was kind enough to allow us to invite some extra friends out one night for a fire to celebrate my girlfriends 30th. but when we arrived later than We had planned our first night, we found it a little hard to actually locate parrot cove in the dark, and so did our friends the night of the fire. There was however a high powered flashlight at the property for us to use that helped us flag down our friends when they arrived and show them where to park. Overall we had an amazing weekend and i highly recommend parrot cove, my literal only complaint about the property is that the parking area of the property/ parrot cove itself is hard to find in the dark hahHah

Perfect getaway spot

The cabin was comfortable for my whole family. We especially enjoyed the sun room and being so close to the lake. It has everything we needed to enjoy the outdoors and be comfortable inside.

Great getaway

A beautiful property with great views. Host is very thoughtful and has added lots of nice touches. If you are scent-sensitive, let the host know and they will wash bedding in scent free detergent and fabric softener.

Great Cabin...Wonderful Vacation Spot

The cabin had everything we needed plus much more! Lakefront cabin with many different areas to enjoy - deck & dock at lake level to enjoy expansive lake views; sitting area halfway down steps to lake with two zero-gravity chairs has a smaller view of lake, surrounded by trees (my favorite for shade & relaxing with a book); cabin level with firepit and lots of trees for privacy; plus second level bedroom deck with good view of the lake again. We loved having the use of their peddle boat & canoe! Central-air kept it nice & cool inside on the hot days and as the nights would cool off, we'd open the patio doors in the master bedroom to hear the sounds of the waves all night (loved it!). The bedrooms now all have doors on them (the owners must have installed since earlier reviews said there was no doors). There are many outside stairs on this property - from parking area down to cabin and from cabin down to lake. It was a good workout hauling everything up and down - but if anyone has mobility issues, these might be something to consider. Norah was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. Thanks Norah!!

Amazing property and excellent location

We live bed the Parrots Cove. Three of us were there for three nights. The cabin was well equipped and very clean. The owners were very helpful and attentive. It would be nice to have another half bath on the main floor. It was little hard with just one bathroom. Otherwise everything was great. We would visit again.

Quiet Location on the Lake

Great stay in a quiet location. The kitchen was well equipped and the host was quick to respond to any questions. As mentioned in another review, the shower was a little short but manageable. Beautiful loft area and balcony to sit and drink morning coffee.

My husband and myself moved to Echo Lake when we retired. What a beautiful area with so much to do. Year round we have entertainment at our doorstep.

I feel Parrots Cove is unique. It has a great personality and welcomes you. The view is spectacular and private. The surrounding area provides lots of activity opportunities. The ability to spend time in the peace and quiet of nature is an added bonus.
