Cozy Suite with electric fireplace, majestic and peaceful Hudson River Views nestled in a quiet safe residential well-maintained cul-de-sac neighborhood away from the city of Newburgh but close to the Newburgh-Beacon bridge and the prestigious Powelton Country Club. This apartment is adjacent to a larger home with a separate entrance complete with a full kitchenette and a separate living space with couch, smart TV, queen size bed and table. It has it's own deck with sitting area where you can enjoy sunrises and soak in the peaceful views.
A stones throw from the Newburgh Waterfront, a waterfront walkway offering various night life and dining venues from casual to elegant as well a Spa with river views. A myriad of things to do are just within 15-20 minutes such as apple picking and more at nearby orchards, kayak tours launching from the Newburgh boat ramp, walking and boat tours to Bannerman Island, Bear Mountain Zoo and its outdoor ice skating rink, Legoland, Newburgh Brewing Company, Wineries galore, Museums such as the the Dia in Beacon and Washington Headquarters, State Parks, famous hiking trails such as Breakneck Ridge, Minnewaska State Park, Mount Beacon and so much more! Take a train into NYC from the Beacon train station 10 minutes away or a take a short 75 minute drive into NYC.

Loved staying here. It was a great size for a solo traveler with all the necessary amenities and convenience. The view was a highlight!

This property was perfect for two people. It was central to some areas we wanted to visit and has a private deck for sitting out and enjoying the view of the Hudson River. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Affordable little getaway

Clean and welcoming. Deck is a great attraction. Price point is what attracted me as we were visiting Beacon & couldn’t find a place that didn’t break the bank. Was a little surprised to discover that this is an apartment addition to an existing house; we could hear the family members inside, and I hope we weren’t too noisy for them. Overall cozy and a nice respite. Thank you.

"Twin bed" is an air mattress

Everything else was fine but we didn't like how the twin bed was just an air mattress, not a cot or a pullout, and this was not detailed in the listing. But other than that, everything was okay.

Just Right

This little attached apartment was the perfect size for me, and I felt very safe. I loved being at the top end of the cul de sac so it was quiet and there was an amazing view from the deck looking over and down the Hudson River. I had beautiful sunrises and the lights at night along the river were so pretty. The bedroom/living/dining room was perfect for one. The electric fireplace gave the room a cozy feel, the bed and couch were comfy, and there was plenty of hot water for showers and dishes. The shower is a bit narrow but it worked out ok. The only time I heard the family next door was at breakfast and dinner time, so not a problem at all. It helped me feel safe actually. The apartment was perfectly located for the exploring and touring I had planned from Warwick to Patterson to Wallkill. There were great restaurants nearby too, Alexis Diner by the interstate, Mrs. Fairfax in town and Captain Jake's on the waterfront. I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay here. Thank you, Vickie

Perfect stay for a solo or couple retreat!

The view was so good I never turned the TV on once during my stay! I was in town for a wedding and having such a clean, comfy, convenient, and well-apportioned accommodation only added to the joy of the occasion. This is an add-on to the host's residence and it was a comfort to know they were nearby while I was able to enjoy my complete privacy.

My Best Experience Yet!

Everything was perfect. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and spotless. The kitchen had all the essentials. The living room/bedroom was comfortable and welcoming. The view of the Hudson River from the back sliding door/deck was amazing. Communication with the owner was excellent. I will most definitely be back!

This property was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. I was able to visit with my West Point Cadet for a weekend and cook a meal for her and we had a lovely time.

Great apartment

I was taking a 3-day art workshop nearby and this place was perfect for me: clean, private, very quiet; it had a kitchen so that I could cook my meals; the host family were in the attached house but I never saw or heard them! It was like having a private home to myself, including a small deck overlooking the Hudson River. Great extras like high end shower products were nice touches that I wasn’t expecting. I will stay here again!!!

Beautiful Hudson valley retreat!

This was such a lovely place to stay. The unit had everything we needed and we felt comfortable and taken care of. The view from the patio is unreal and we loved how private and cozy we felt here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend getaway!
