SMALL STUDIO OF THE PRESBYTERY IN THE CHURCH OF THE FORMER CARMELITE CONVENT. PGJyPg PGJyPg NO, YOU'RE NOT DREAMING! YOU CAN SLEEP IN THE PRESBYTERY OF THE FORMER CHURCH OF THE OLD CARMELITE CONVENT. The Carmelite Convent Church was very large, composed of 5 chapels on each side. Five splendid arches made up the nave. After the Revolution, the Carmelite Convent was sold as national property in several lots. Two-thirds of the church were demolished, as well as three chapels on each side. On the remaining third, major work was undertaken to create two floors for habitation; this is how the former church was inhabited for more than two centuries. .

Today The Old Church is still being restored, but you have the option of sleeping there, as well as in the old Presbytery.
