Fabulous house close to the beach

Welcome to Dolphin's Paradise!

619 Dolphin is nestled on a corner lot just three houses away from the beach access, no need to worry about loading all of your beach gear (just a short walk).

The house is centered around one large room that is divided into 4 different spaces: the living room, the den area facing the TV, the dining area that can seat up to 6 people, and the Kitchen that has space to accommodate multiple cooks. Every door leads to a porch, the two back porches are covered and the top floor porch is uncovered for those who want to sunbathe without going to the beach.

Also on the first floor is the first of two bedroom suites and a half bath for guests. The second floor has a central hallway that leads to the second master bedroom suite and to the other 4 bedrooms (as stated each bedroom has a door leading to a porch). There is room enough for 5 cars, two in the driveway and three in the parking lot on the side.

No pets allowed, please!

Wonderfully decorated and accommodating Fripp Island home. The six bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths easily accommodated our big family group. Patricia, the owner, was quick to respond with any questions we had. We will add this beach house to our short list of larger properties, close to the beach, that we will rent year after year. Fripp Trip 2025

We had 11 people (4 families) and this house was perfect. We lived the close proximity to the beach and the outdoor shower was a huge help. My only suggestion would be a rug or something at the bottom of the indoor stairs. The wooden stairs and the wooden floor blend together making it super easy to miss the last step. We had two adults both miss the last stair and fell. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was very run down and dirty. They left us very few towels. Everything in the kitchen had to be cleaned prior to using and the pots/pans were in terrible shape. They all need replacing.

We were a group of 12 (bride and groom's immediate families) and layout was perfect. Plenty of parking, beach supplies and kitchen needs for our chefs (family) to do their thing. Owner & property manager were a DREAM. It was obvious their #1 priority was for us to have the best experience during our stay. Thank you!!!

Poor communication

Pro: House was large enough to accommodate our family, house had elevator-needed for 2 disabled individuals. Cons: Poor communication from owner before stay and during stay. Elevator was repaired on day 1. Non-working toilet repaired Day 2. Non-working lights in bathroom, shower and cable repaired on day 3. Guest was misled on when repair people would be showing up which led to hours of vacation time wasted waiting for repair personnel. Many issues could have been avoided with accurate and better communication from owner. Would not recommend this house to friends or family

Fripp trip

Needs some refreshing. Great space and location. Owner needs to provide more accurate contact info (she had her son’s contact info in listing and he said he didn’t know why so had to go back and forth with them). Listing needs to include security entry info protocol and instructions with the guard. Not having this squared away was an unpleasant experience. Owner tries to make it better with complimentary amenity passes, but we didn’t have time to use them so no real compensation for that bad experience. Fripp Island is nice and this house can be as well with more attention to details and some basic house care.

Review of house

The refrigerator in the kitchen is a disgrace to the house. The bottom shelf is gone. I assumed broken. The refrigerator door has no brackets to keep things from falling out. The freezer in the refrigerator downstairs needs to be cleaned. Need towel bars in upstairs bathrooms. It is dated but we knew that. In order to verify who you are should text rather than email. The house has a lot of possibilities if it was maintained.

Annual fall visit

We visit my daughter in Beaufort annually in September. This year we stayed on Fripp since I have never been there before. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and our stay. The beach is beautiful in the area! Missing the smoke detector in the upstairs master and the tv goes black after a few minutes though. Didn’t matter to us but may to the next renters.

Beautiful spacious house

This home is so beautiful and spacious for our entire family with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms to accommodate everyone. We loved the large open living room and kitchen areas. The home is in a great location and close to beach access. We enjoyed seeing deer and even a few raccoons! Patricia is a gracious host and very responsive to all of my questions. We will be looking to come back again next year!

good times but needs some polish

We had a good time staying at 619. We had several small problems but Patricia was there to help us resolve them. There are a couple of things I would ask...some outdoor seating/ tv control instructions/ the elevator was not working/ just a general sprucing up of the property. It is in a great location...easy beach access...good layout of the property...lots of kitchen implemements.

Great for our family vacation

This is the second year we have rented 619 Dolphin for our family vacation. The house suits our family well with its spacious bedrooms and their adjoining bathrooms. Each of our 3 kids and their spouses/children are able to have their own private space. We also love the proximity to the beach-great for evening strolls. We hope to rent again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was in great order and had everything we needed! Plenty of space and well equipped! And we appreciated being able to rent for a long weekend. A+ for location, F for Maintenance/Cleanliness

House was in a great location close to beach but…Arrived to unlocked house with open door and doorknob on floor…we fixed it ourselves…porch canister light hanging by wires…one smoke detector hanging from ceiling and a second one missing completely…dirty rugs in kitchen and living room…we tried to vacuum…vacuum did not work…upstairs shower uncleaned with previous guests washcloths still in shower…dirty kitchen with unkempt stove…garage door did not open…bags of garbage left in garage from previous guests…outdated guest information displayed on refrigerator…management contacted immediately…maintenance person arrived day 3 to fix smoke detectors…light on porch and doorknob(already fixed by us) and we’re unable to fix garage door during our stay…cleanliness issues were never addressed by management following our initial call.
