Take in all that Blue Ridge has to offer in this secluded, family-friendly cabin! At our cabin you can enjoy the peace & beauty of the mountains from one of the expansive 3 decks, from the cozy fire pit or relaxing hot tub! Have game night with the pool table, air hockey table & the large selection of board games! You are a short 3 mi. from downtown, 4 mi. to tubing the Toccoa River & 5 mi. to beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. Our cabin is at the very end of the road with no other cabins in sight!
THE SPACE
Each room has its own private bathroom. One bedroom on each floor for ultimate privacy or for families traveling together! Each room has flat screen smart TV, hangers, & dresser/chest of drawers!
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The drive up to the property is fairly steep! You can definitely walk around the neighborhood/property but just know that it will be a workout! :)
DETAILS
We do have a pack n' play & pack n' play mattress for those that need one - just ask. We can also put out a high chair as well! We have young kids so we get it!! However, PLEASE be EXTRA careful with your kids near the fireplaces and near the pool table. If your children scratch the pool table or move any logs in fireplace, etc. we WILL require you to pay for damages. We do have a gas grill downstairs on the lower deck. Please do not move the grill. We also supply 2 propane tanks for your use. We cannot guarantee the propane is full. If empty please take the tank to the nearest store (Home Depot does propane exchanges and is about 3 miles away) and have it exchanged so you have propane to use.
TO DO IN AREA!
We are less than 3 miles from downtown Blue Ridge! That means we are 3 miles from TONS of restaurants, grocery stores, shops, bike rental places, the amazing downtown playground, Grumpy Old Men brewery, etc. You can hike right in our backyard - there are a few trails! We are also 2 minutes away from Bear Claw winery all while being secluded in the beautiful mountains!
TO DO WITH KIDS
The Lily Pad in Aska adventure area is great (gem mining, mini golf, fishing). Animal ARC if your girls like animals, adventures of shadow lane has horseback riding (even for really young kids - they guide them), animal feeding & petting, scavenger hunt with prizes (my kids fav), & hay rides, Mercier’s apple orchard, playground in downtown and ice cream shops downtown. Hiking trails with waterfalls. There are several around the area that are a mile or 1.5 miles if they can tolerate that! Amicalola Falls is about an hour away from Blue Ridge but gorgeous and worth it! Daffodil Hill Farm & Carriage, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, 2nd Story Entertainment, Huck’s General store, rent a pontoon boat or take a guided tour (Capt’n Joe’s Lake Adventures) or just take a swim at Morganton Point Recreation Center (public beach), Escape Blue Ridge (escape game), Zipline at Blue Ridge Adventure Park, tube, kayak or raft the Toccoa river.
PARKING/GETTING AROUND
Park right in the driveway. Can hold 3-4 cars easily. Must drive if you need to get anywhere outside of the neighborhood.
