Just steps from the Pacific coastline, this multi-level updated villa boasts beautiful ocean views and stunning sunsets on Kauai's south shore. Morning strolls to watch the sea turtles and spinner dolphins are a must! Snorkel at nearby Poipu Beach or enjoy a day at the private heated pool setting shared by just three other villas. Fall asleep to the serene sounds of the crashing waves.

We can accommodate up to 5 guests in this 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom unit with split A/C. The main level has an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen and living space that faces the ocean, with a common half bathroom. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom, the guest bedroom has two twin beds and a fold out futon, and a common full bathroom. There are two ocean-facing lanais and a private outdoor BBQ grill for guests to soak in the feeling of paradise.

DESTINATION KAUAI is a locally owned and family operated company committed to providing excellent guest service to visitors wanting to experience, respect, and enjoy our beautiful Kaua'i.

Beautiful, safe, and clean place to stay in poipu beach with an incredible view. The pictures don’t do enough justice. The view of the ocean from the living room and the master bedroom is worth the stay by itself. You can catch sunsets from the bedroom every day or by stepping out on to the road in front. When we stayed, I could see the turtles feeding right in front of this unit every morning around 7-730am. Poipu beach is only a 7 minute walk. Great place to stay for families. The kitchen was functional and stocked with necessities. Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling masks were provided. Fully functional in unit washer and dryer. WiFi had issues but the landlord got it fixed as soon as we notified. Landlord responds quickly and is very helpful. It is in a quiet location without a lot of traffic but with quick and easy access to all the South side beaches and towns.

Had another great vacation in Poipu! This villa is clean, well stocked and quiet! Only 4 villas on the property. Very short walk to the beach. My only complaint is I like to unpack for a long stay and there are not any dressers or TVs in the bedrooms. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing villa by the sea

Our family of 5 loved the Honu Kai Villa. It was a great location to explore all of the adventures on the south shore. The villa was a beautiful spot to watch the sunsets from the back lanai and to be able to walk to Poipu beach and see the turtles and get shaved ice/ice cream from Brenecke's. We will definitely return.

Beautiful

We were fortunate to find the home just 2 months before our arrival. The location was fantastic and the view stunning. We walked to the beach and they had chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for us to use. The waves were huge which our kids loved! And the turtles arrived at the beach most evenings. We hope to return.

Excellent Location and Rental

We loved our stay at this VRBO. The location and space were both excellent. The management company checked in with us periodically which was great. The only reason I gave 4/5 on check in was we got there at 4 pm, and had to wait 5-10 minutes for the cleaning to be completed. Not a huge deal as the place was very clean when we entered and well stocked. I would highly recommend.

A Piece of Heaven

My husband and I absolutely loved this villa. It was meticulously cleaned, and the little details left for us and decor delighted us. The king bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. The soap and shower provisions smelled great and were a lovely touch. The washer and dryer worked well and were blessedly quiet. The gardens surrounding the villa were beautiful. Our deeded parking spot was a relief after sightseeing all day on the island. Entry and exit were seamless. We would highly recommend this beautiful villa to anyone. We would love to stay here again. Beautiful Condo

Beautiful view, great location, nice pool and close parking. The condo was updated, clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. Two great outdoor seating areas to take in the amazing view. Our family of 4 had plenty of space. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Stay at a Beautiful 2-Bedroom Villa in Poipu

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming 2-bedroom villa in Poipu, Kauai! Our family of four absolutely loved the accommodations. The villa had a perfect balance of quaint, modern island decor and a comfortable, relaxed vibe. The kitchen setup was fantastic, making it easy for us to prepare meals and feel right at home. The small but private pool was right out the door and nice and warm to relax in between beach hopping. One of our favorite features was the back patio. We spent most evenings grilling out and enjoying the stunning sunsets over the Pacific Ocean—it was the perfect way to wind down after a day of adventure. The location was also ideal, with a short walk to the boogie boarding beach, where we had a blast. Plus, the nearby Poipu Beach Park offered incredible wildlife sightings, including sea turtles and even a monk seal! This villa was the perfect home base for our south end part of our vacation, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-appointed getaway with great views.

Great Location

The location if the place is great - very close to the beach. Kids really enjoyed the time here. We did have lots of tiny ants in kitchen and a large bug in master bath. We reported this to the management company and they are going to supplement their quarterly pest treatment. It is a tropical climate so I am sure that is not unusual. We had a lot of construction noise because the adjoining townhouse was doing a complete window and door replacement. This of course is not the fault of the owner. They were very accommodating in terms of crediting us for the inconvenience but a bit slow to respond. Overall, it is a nice place and great location. .

Magical Kauai vacation!

This villa was all we dreamed it would be and more! There were a few things that needed attention, but Jeremy l, the property manager, was prompt about addressing everything. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location in Poipu

We had a great time at Honu Kai Villa 2. The views from the upstairs deck and the family room were wonderful. The condo is in a great location to easily walk to Poipu Beach and to local restaurants. We walked to Shipwreck's Beach easily and also to the The Shops at Kukui‘ula.The condo was well stocked with kitchen supplies. In addition, the bedding and pillows were top notch, which is really important to ensure the guests have a pleasant nights sleep. Wonderful location and lovely condo. Thank you!

Wonderful oceanfront spot

The view, especially at sunset, is stunning and beach and restaurants a close walk away. Kristen, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. And having A/C is rare and a real plus, as is the pool that is nearly always vacant, like your own private one, just steps out the door. You can also barbecue right on your own deck.

Honu Kai

We loved the location. The views were gorgeous and the proximity to the beach excellent. We loved seeing the sea turtles come to the beach each night as we watched the sun set. The pool and hot tub came in handy and were well kept. The villa was spacious and very well stocked.

Family/ friends getaway for the Kauai Marathon

We had a beautiful stay in Kauai. The condo’s location could not be more perfect. A very short easy walk to Poipu Beach ( literally across street) . The vibe was a friendly beach neighborhood, where everyone came out at sunset, greeted everyone as friends and celebrated with drinks at Brennekes afterwards! The condo was decorated nicely and well equipped with everything you need for a weeks stay or more. If there was only one complaint which was no fault to the owner…. The previous guests were a bit messy and cleaning crew were still in our condo when we arrived. We felt that are cleaning was a lil lacking but again…. No fault to the owner and we had a wonderful stay!

Peaceful oasis by the ocean

We stayed at this property during our first time visit in Hawaii. The apartment was in great location, walkable distance to the Poipu Beach where we walked each evening to look at the beautiful turtles basking at the sand. In the morning we would have a coffee in the quiet and private garden. The house was comfortable for a family stay, clean, spacious, had great ocean views. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this place! It’s an oasis where you can relax, but at the same time be close to numerous Kauai attractions.

We stayed with our 10 year old grandson. The property was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The parking space was a bonus. We enjoyed the 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Our grandson took advantage of the boogie boards on the property. Provided beach towels were appreciated. Will definitely return!
