LOCATED ON THE KENAI RIVER!! Kenai River Haven Unit #4.

This is a beautiful new home on the Kenai River, just a few miles from downtown Soldotna and located on Funny River Road. Great neighborhood, private access to fishing, or a mile of public use fishing just down the road. A freezer is provided. Your host, Mark, is most always on-site and enjoys teaching those who may not be familiar with fishing our river how to catch a big one! Master bedroom has a King and second bedroom has two twin-sized beds.

Great Place

This airbnb is great. The host Mark is extremely nice and welcoming, and will even teach you how to fly fish on the river and supplies the rods and everything. Very well thought out place. I will definitely be going back at some point.

Kenai Adventure

Every aspect of our stay here was excellent. Jenifer and Mark are great hosts, the property is immaculate and the fishing is phenomenal. Plus you get Mark's vast fishing experience and processing help. You don't really need to go anywhere else for fishing.

Yet another amazing stay in Alaska

This is our second time at this property. I wish we could give it 6 stars. Mark is an amazing host and the property is ideal. Many fish were caught and so many wonderful memories were made. We can’t wait for our next trip back.

Perfect Home Base

The comfortable, beautiful, clean space was second only to the blessing of meeting the host! It was a home away from home with access to the river and some very fun stories and teachings of what Alaska has to offer 😄! Such a great experience for our family!

Awesome place to stay

Very nice place to stay and is a newer house with a nice setup. We stayed in unit #4. I would highly recommend this place. Mark and Jennifer are very nice people. They make you feel like family or long time friends. Mark provided us fishing poles, lessons and many stories. Even the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Mark was available all the time and always made sure you had what you needed. We will definitely go back.

Best Fishing Location and VRBO Host

The number one priority when we go on vacation is that wherever we stay it must be clean. This place exceeds any reasonable expectation. It looks like it was just built, and it is well equipped if you decide to cook while you are on vacation. The host (Mark) went way out of the way to make this a great fishing trip. He showed us the technique needed to catch salmon. He supplied us with the rods and reels. He also gave us a recipe to cook up the salmon. Mark thanks for making this trip such a success.

Perfect rental

Stayed here for a week and had an awesome time. The house was immaculate and brand new. Mark and Jennifer went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Mark always had rods and reels at the ready for fishing And was spot on with all of his recommendations. Since this was our first trip to Alaska, I relied on Mark’s recommendations for fishing charters and those trips were amazing. We wouldn’t have had nearly the experience we did if it weren’t for Mark’s local knowledge and expertise. This was the best VRBO experience I’ve had. I probably shouldn’t go on and on about this hidden gem because it will be harder to book in the future!

Best VRBO experience EVER!

This was a fantastic experience for our family of 4. We have two boys, age 13 & 15. Mark was fantastic, showing them how to fish for salmon, having patience with their questions, providing equipment and the like. This was like a VRBO with a private guide for the fishing on the property. We brought home two coolers of salmon. The house was great! New, clean, and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. The freezer in the garage was put to good use, as were the washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family the want the full Kenai river fishing experience.

Home away from Home

This house is brand new with all brand new appliances! One of the most important things to me while traveling is the beds, and they were very comfortable as well as the reclining couches. They have multiple bed options if you have more than one person sharing a room. Kitchen comes completely fitted with everything you need. Even a pizza cutter! There is nothing I don’t like about this place. The smallest improvement I would recommend is one of the rooms didn’t have a bed side lamp. Not a big deal just an area to improve. Highly recommend this place, plenty of room for a family!

Amazing Host and Location

I have to say this is one of the best locations we have been to. My husband and I travel to Alaska at least once a year at minimum. Mark and Jennifer are truly amazing hosts. The houses were very clean and the dock on the Kenia River was perfect! We saw bears and moose swimming in the river. The fishing was amazing as well. I can't say enough at how well our host's took care of us! They definitely make sure you are having a great time! Thank you again for an amazing time at your beautiful property!

Best Property on the Kenai

We have stayed at many different locations over the years on the Kenai and this was by far our favorite. Not only are the accommodations first class but our camp host, Mark, is genuinely one of the kindest people I've met. He has a great setup for success to catch fish as well. I couldn't recommend this property enough. 5 stars and two big thumbs up!

Fisherman and Family paradise!

Wow! What an awesome property! A squeaky clean, well equipped property, with all the amenities! Me, my wife, her sister, their two small children, and our 2.5 month old all enjoyed the hospitality of this wonderful place! Mark was available for us very quickly throughout our stay and made sure we always had everything we needed! Although early in the season, the reds were running and Mark is a very knowledgeable fisherman and put us on the spot to catch plenty to bring home and for meals for 3 nights while we were there! Super convient walk to the water where he had platforms set and plenty of rods and tackle! He had a vacuume-sealer for us to use as well! When we come back to the area, we will definitely staying here again!
