Great place for boulder vacation with the family

Wonderfull house for two families with a big backyard. The house is perfect for boulder vacation. Numerous spots are easy to access by bike or even hiking. The house has everything you need for a perfect relaxed stay!

Top house, top location

We had a very nice stay in this holiday home. Very practical house. Walking distance to beautifull boulders and walks. Christine is a great host.

Lovely large detached house in the fontainebleau forest

We had a lovely stay in this large detached house with plenty of room for our 2 families. There is a nice garden and off road parking. The owner was helpful and informative and speaks excellent English. The house is well situated with many climbing areas within walking distance

Nice house with big garden

The house is really nice and has a big garden in the middle of the forest. We had everything we needed. The host was nice and there were no problems communicating in English. If you want to do bouldering the house is perfectly placed in the middle of the Trois Pignons forest. We had a pleasant stay. Thank you very much We had

Perfect Property to Enjoy the Forest!

Christine communicated everything necessary beforehand and made check-in a breeze. We stayed here with two families of four and everybody had more than enough space to hang out together or apart. Easy access to the bouldering and Milly-la-Foret made this a super convenient and enjoyable vacation! Will definitely consider returning here for our next visit to the forest. Highly recommended.

Very good accommodation plenty of room and amenities

Other than some internet problems that we are assured was a one off (provider not the equipment at the house) we had a really good time in the vicinity of the bouldering in Fontainbleau forest. Some are in walking distance. Nice big dining table and good kitchen. Plenty of parking. Christine and Alain were very helpful.

Super beautiful Gite in a wonderful Forest

We had a wonderful week in Christine and Alains Gite. The house is very bright and clean. We had a nice time in the beautiful Garden and Terrace behind the house. The neighbourhood is very quit and green. All Things considered we can highly recommend a week in this Acommodation in the beautiful Forest of Fontainebleau!

Perfect house in a perfect location

The gite is located centrally in the area of trois pignons. It has everything you could need for a week's holiday or climbing trip. Oven, hob, bbq and plenty of large pans make cooking simple and the table comfortably seats 10, with an additional dining table I the conservatory should you want more space. Showers are hot and with decent pressure, and the garden is large enough for relaxing or games. Overall a great choice for a week or more. I would highly recommend.

Great house with a beautiful garden and a lot of well-lit space indoors

We've spent two weeks of great mountain biking and bouldering holidays in this house. We were two families with a total of eight people. The house works very well for such a group with its spacious kitchen and living room and the lush garden. One should though be aware the rooms are not very soundproof, which was though not a problem for us. The owners are very kind and take great care of the property. They speak English well, which helped us a lot given our limited knowledge of French. We would book this place again.

A perfect home base for climbing families

Our party of 4 adults and 2 children immensely enjoyed our time at The Rochetine on a family climbing trip. The home is 1k from the nearest boulders, and 2 minutes drive from the Roche aux Sabots parking area. Christine and Alain were attentive throughout our trip, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The home is clean and well taken care off, with an open dining area that was the focus of our evenings for dinners and games. The upstairs has a nice common area as well, which combined with the sun room gave everyone room to unwind in solitude when needed. We're already looking forward to our next visit, highly recommended.

Schönes geräumiges Haus

Das Haus bietet genügend Platz und Rückzugsraum für 8 Erwachsene, bequeme Betten und gute bezogene Bettdecken, sowie Schränke. Eine große Küche lädt zum Kochen und gemeinsamen Essen ein. Ein kleines Duschbad und größeres Badewannenbad sind angenehm. Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle und Backofen empfanden wir als praktisch. Es gibt einen Kamin und die Heizung funktioniert bestens. Alles ist sauber. Der wunderbare Wald ist fußläufig erreichbar und zum Wandern und bouldern ideal. Ein paar Autominuten entfernt liegt der nette Ort Milly la Foret. Es gibt Supermärkte, ein paar Einkehrmöglichkeiten und donnerstags einen Markt. Fontainebleau ist in 20 Minuten per Auto erreichbar. Christine und Alain sind sehr nett und reagieren umgehend bei Fragen und Wünschen. Wir könnten uns prima in Englisch verständigen. Wir haben es sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft mit guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Tolle Unterkunft für Boulderurlaub mit Freunden und/oder Familie

Wir waren im Frühjahr 2019 mit 6 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern zum Boulderurlaub in der Gite La Rochetine. Das Haus liegt quasi mitten im Trois Pignons Wald und man kann diverse Bouldergebiete prima zu Fuß erreichen. Es bietet mit seinem großen Wohnzimmer, Wintergarten und Spielzimmer genügend Platz, so dass man sich auch bei voller Belegung nicht auf die Füße tritt. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch wunderbar im großen Garten oder auf der Terrasse sitzen. Die Gite ist sehr gut ausgestattet . In der Küche findet man alles, um ausgiebig zu kochen (echter Backofen und großer Kühlschrank Die Vermieter Christine und Alain sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Tolle Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und bietet viel Platz. Wenn es etwas kühler ist kann man im Wohnzimmer den Kaminofen zusätzlich nutzen. Die Lage ist für Boulderer spitze. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit (jederzeit telefonisch erreichbar) und helfen wo Sie können. Es war sehr schön!
