A brand new house in which pets (including horses) are welcome? You don’t see many of those listed for rental, but that’s exactly what you have in this single level, easy access home in Southern Utah. It’s a great place to bring the whole family (dog included) giving up to 13 guests somewhere modern and bright to call your own.

There are actually 2 separate spaces in the property. Book one, book them both. It’s up to you.

You get 1,900 square feet of living space here. Let’s take a quick look around.


OPEN CONCEPT LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN AREA
No question where the main attraction is in this home - the huge, beautifully lit open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Here’s where you can all gather to celebrate just being together. Or maybe you’re here to mark a special family or friendship occasion. Either way, there’s room to relax on comfy couches and watch the HDTV with Roku. The dining table seats 11 guests, so you can all gather if you’re planning a big meal during your stay and celebrate together.

The kitchen is a modern one (this is a brand new home after all). So expect to find modern countertops and plenty of storage space for your favorite foods. There’s also an oven, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher, all those essentials you take for granted at home are here. And that includes a washer dryer. After all, enjoying the great outdoors Southern Utah style can get clothes a little messy sometimes!

4 BEDROOMS
You get a mix of double beds, a single bed and sleeper futons to choose from here, so there’s somewhere for everyone, young and old. And it’s a single level home remember, so no stairs to climb. Wherever you sleep, you’re sure to enjoy a restful night here, waking up refreshed and ready for a new day of adventures.

3 BATHROOMS
Take your pick from tubs and showers when it comes to getting ready for a new day. All bathrooms in this brand new house feature modern suites. And there will be towels and toiletries from the host for all guests to use.

THE SECOND HOUSE – Sleeps 3
Ideal if someone in your group wants a separate space to enjoy a little peace and quiet during your stay. This annex has a separate entry door, plus 1 bedroom and a bathroom, its own kitchen and a family room with a sleeper sofa.

OUTSIDE
Enjoy the scenic views of Southern Utah through every window and from the covered porch and outdoor benches provided. There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep guests entertained too. Why not play volleyball or badminton using the court and net provided? You can also play corn hole and horse shoe. Speaking of horses, there’s a corral area, so if you happen to be touring Utah with horses, there’s somewhere for you and them to stay right here - with trailer parking available too.

Fantastic location and easy access to local sites

The house is beautiful and it is ideally located for easy access to national parks and forests, as well as off-road vehicle sites. The host was very nice and communicated well with us.

Annual family trip to Fish Lake

Great location. Beds surprisingly comfortable! The owner is quite responsive and helpful. Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. I am admittedly a weirdo about having absorbent clean towels and did not think the towels fit the bill at this place. Do appreciate the location and responsiveness of the host. Thankful also for the great opportunity to see this gorgeous part of Utah.

Beautiful Wayne County

Family Members stayed and hunted on Parker and Thousand Lake Mountains. It was great to have a place to stay close. Kitchen was stocked with needed cooking pans and bedrooms were very comfortable. Owner responded to any needs quickly. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Had a great girl’s weekend!

We had such a fun time staying there! The house was very clean and very well put together. There was plenty of space and we spent most of the time playing card games. The hosts were very polite and very kind. Highly recommend!

Festival

A group of us stayed at this house while attending a music festival in Torrey. The location was perfect. We all had side by sides and could leave directly from the property and experience some beautiful landscapes! It was amazing. The accommodations were perfect!! Definately will stay again!

Great place to stay

Everything was as described -- the kitchen was well equipped, plenty of towels, TP, paper towels, etc. The only issue we had was with temperature in the rooms since there are individual units in each room. The owners were responsive to our requests for assistance.

Beautiful home near Capital Reef NP

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home definitely our best VRBO rental. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and easily accommodated our 4 families 10 persons total. Great location for hiking in Capital Reef and there’s so much to do and see. Jared was very nice and allowed us to check in early. Would love to come back. Highly recommended this house.

Capital Reef National Park and a Barndo

We loved our stay! This was a beautiful barndo with great style. It for all 11 of us comfortably. Jared was responsive to all of our messages and was great to work with. We will keep this on our favorites list and come back again! Our only suggestion is to have larger blankets for the fold out beds.

The property was chosen b/c we wanted to bring our small dog. The property was very accommodating for our pet and it was easy to clean up after her. The house accomodated all 11 of us. The only issues revolved around the ice maker being broken so we had to go to town to buy ice for our 5 day stay. We had 2 people in casts that needed the ice for medicinal purposes. It would have been nice to know in advance that it was not working. When I messaged the host, he said it's not working. Not much help... we could see that. He did not offer any help. The kitchen pots and pans are ridiculously ancient and worn. We struggled with not being able to adjust the temperature in each room as the host had complete control.

Good base for Capitol Reef

Brand new, interesting and quirky metal home. Comfortable beds, everything works very well, spotless. Nice property for horses or other animals, volleyball net is set up, fire pit nearby. Within 15 miles of Capitol Reef NP and SR12, one of the best drives in the country. Oddly there are no usable closets nor hangers, rather lots of peg-hooks on the bedrooms walls. Wi-Fi was spotty at best, maybe due to the metal structure.

New house in Lyman utah

Overall we had a great experience. The location is little further from Capital Reef NP, but is not a big deal. The only complaint I had is the heating/cooling system by one of the room is very noisy. It kept my husband and I up in the middle of the night. Other than that, It was a great experience and the house was very clean, and the neighborhood was quiet. I wanted to thank you JT and his wife for hosting our group of six. It was a great experience especially it was snowing in May and we woke up with a great Mountain View.

This place is very special to my wife and me. I am a steel contractor and built this home with my younger brother, son & daughter, and trusted employees. My company self-performed 90% of the work. As you can tell this is a unique home. It is built from almost all steel.
I have been coming to Wayne County for over 20 years and my wife and I decided to build this home in beautiful Lyman, because there is some much to do. Great hiking in capital reef, some of the best fishing in Utah, Great places to ride UTV to Sight-see or to go hunting. There are some amazing horse trails in the surrounding mtns.

Welcome to the great state of Utah. Staying in this brand new, single story home makes for a great base to enjoy the Utah life and explore the local area. You’ll get plenty of choice when it comes to hikes and bike rides, with hunting and fishing popular in the area too.

Torrey is a great place to get some shopping done and maybe stop for a bite to eat or a little to drink in the restaurants and bars. There’s also a gallery here if you’re into artsy things.

If you’re ready to travel further afield, it’s only 18 miles from the house to the beautiful Capital Reef National Forest with some spectacular scenery to enjoy here. You also have the Bounder Mountains within easy reach too.
