No Air Conditioning
Alpine #1 does not have air conditioning. Most homes in Montana do not have AC, and the naturally cool evening temperatures make it comfortable to enjoy fresh mountain air.
During warmer weather, we recommend opening the windows in the evening to let the cool air into the cabin and closing the windows, curtains, and blinds during the day to help keep the interior comfortable.
For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the home. Fans are also provided in the bedroom closets.

This is a pet-free home. Pets are not permitted, and bringing a pet into the home will result in a $1,000 fee.

Yellowstone National Park Operating Dates
The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park operates seasonally, and entrance dates are subject to change.
The summer season typically runs from the third Saturday in April through November 1. The West Entrance generally closes beginning November 1 and reopens in mid-December for the winter oversnow travel season. The oversnow season typically runs from mid-December through mid-March, after which the entrance closes again until the summer season begins.
