Timothy our Host was welcoming from the very beginning when I booked our stay over 3 months ago! The cabin itself was awesome and amazing! Everything we needed was already there and thought of. We made some great memories at Aska Rapids Cabin and will definitely spread the word of how we fell in love with Blue Ridge and Timothy’s gorgeous cabin…that was my gem that I found during our stay! 5 Heart Rating! The cabin is on a paved 2 lane road, 7 miles from stores. It is very private You can see the river thru the forest across the street and you can hear the river while enjoying the nature while sitting on the porch swing.We had a little problem checking in and Timothy, our host , immediately responded and took care of the situation immediately. The king size bed is the most comfortable bed, the cabin has 3 roku tvsThe living room has a gas fireplace which warmed up the cabin on the cool mornings.The kitchen has good appliances although I didn't cook I was on vacation from work!We spent 14 days at the cabin , it is very peaceful and Timothy is a great hostMy husband and I recommend this aska road cabin. This was an awesome place for a mountain getaway. The cabin was very clean and everything worked properly. The location was great - you really feel out in the woods, but you are still close to a really cool little store and a fantastic restaurant. We came up for motorcycling and the area does not disappoint. There is some of the best riding in the country right from this area. The road outside the cabin is a great road but it is very quiet in the cabin. Great for sleeping! There are tons of things to do in the area no matter what you like to do. All in all the cabin was fantastic and we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.

The best part about the stay was the location. It's a short 15 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge and is literally right across the road from the Toccoa river. We ate at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant which is about 2 minutes down the road. There are tubing, rafting and kayaking locations right down the road as well. The cabin itself was good. It's a little outdated but is worth the stay.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Loved the location! 2 minutes away from the riverside restaurant and general store with yummy breakfast. 15 mins away from downtown Blue Ridge. Would definitely stay again. Tim was very responsive.

Great balance of being easy to get to but also providing solitude. I was a little worried about road noise, but it wasn't an issue. Relaxing out back, I could listen to the river and see an occasional wildlife visitor. Plenty of trails waterfalls nearby too.

The cabin was adorable! Very homey, and very clean- which is very important to me. Me and my husband enjoyed a quick get away, and would definitely stay here again!! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the river.

Weekend retreat

Great cabin. Centrally located to lots of hiking trails and falls! Close to downtown Blue ridge! Easy access with a paved driveway. The Host Timothy was very quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen was well equipped if you like to prepare your own meals. Overall a lovely place to stay for the price!

Hidden gem

Everything about this cabin was great! It was perfect for a quick 3 night getaway with the wife. Communication was top notch and everything was as advertised. We would absolutely book this cabin again. Saved in my favorites!!!

Besides making the body work better, I also believe that mental and spiritual healing are just as important. When I'm not working with patients, I try to get away from the city as much as possible. I love places that don't have too many people, so I can take in all the beauty of the outdoors. As a physical therapist, you can guess that I care a lot about health, so I try to eat well and get plenty of exercises from hiking, swimming, and regular weight training. Overall, I'm blessed to have a balance between work and play.
