The villa Maquis is just 10–20 minutes from the iconic villages of Bonnieux, Ménerbes, Lacoste, and Roussillon, and 15 minutes from Gordes. Provençal markets in Coustellet and Apt are nearby. Organic wine tastings are available at nearby wineries (on foot or by bike).



Getting Around:

Ideally located just 10 to 20 minutes by car from the must-see villages of Bonnieux, Ménerbes, Oppède-le-Vieux, Roussillon, and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, this property places you in the heart of Provence. You'll love exploring the local markets of Coustellet, just a 10-minute drive away. These vibrant Sunday markets are perfect for picking up essential Provençal goods to enhance your stay.



The nearby town of Apt, renowned for its historic Saturday market—held for centuries and stretching across the entire old town—is only 20 minutes away and absolutely worth a visit.



Wine enthusiasts will be thrilled by the variety of nearby options. The closest organic wine estate is located less than 200 meters from the property and offers delightful wines. Visits can typically be arranged in advance, and occasional walk-ins are also welcome. Another exceptional organic winery just 1.2 km away also offers tastings by appointment.



In addition, numerous wineries and wine cellars can be found within a 10 km radius, and the legendary Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation is just under an hour’s drive away.
