Historic spacious single family home, nine foot ceilings, hardwood floors, with recent updates, sitting on a corner lot in historic section of Mandan. Three bedrooms upstairs, with eat in kitchen, large dining room, large living room, and a study on the main floor with 1/2 bath. Walk to downtown restaurants, pubs, or city events center. Situated in the classic neighborhood of old Mandan, this restored 1928 home was one of the last homes built before the Great Depression. Ideal for traveling business person, or perfect for family reunions with the spacious front porch, large dining room and family room for watching TV or video games. Off street parking for 3 vehicles. We have two decade + experience offering short term rentals, and this is the latest home of our four homes of what we like to call Dakota Historic Homes network. So, if you are looking for multiple homes in Bismarck-Mandan area, and also a farmhouse and farm, we can accommodate. All of them are on VRBO.

Plenty of room for the kids to play. Comfortable home and neighborhood. The AC units kept us cool and comfortable while sleeping on the hot nights. Well equipped kitchen.

The property was kinda dirty and sticky and needed a lot of work, I think the owner should put some time and money into it then put it up for rental again…..it definitely has a lot of potential

Excellent stat

Beautiful vintage home with modern amenities (A/c units kept house cool during summer heat.). Super cute neighborhood with lots of other vintage homes to admire. Very close to downtown Mandan which worked out perfect during the 4th of July holiday. Great water pressure in the shower. Microwave seemed like it was malfunctioning a bit, but I let the owner know and I wouldn't doubt that they'll take care of it as the rest of the house was in great condition. Loved staying in a vintage home and enjoyed the creaking sound of wood floors and the look of the vintage furniture that the owner put in every room. 5 stars!

Lovely experience

Our family loves Victorian homes as vacation accommodations, there’s just something cozy and relaxing to us about them (I guess it makes us think of older, simple ways). Staying here feels like a retreat and the decor is all very classy and sweet. The hosts are very hospitable and accommodating. Our family would love to stay here again.

Not the best

First thing we noticed was the musty, old smell. It did not go away. We bought air wicks to try to cover smell, but did not work. We had to buy toilet paper, bath towels and wash rags. No trash bags, so we used our Walmart bags. Beds were uncomfortable. Live and dead bugs, as floors were not very clean. Both trash bins totally full and stinky. Beds were not v

Great location

Nice house and porch! Great location to walk downtown. We didn't really use the kitchen so cannot comment on that. Overall was a good experience.

Lovely Historic Home

We loved having a house to come back to and relax in. I walked around the neighborhood every morning very early and felt completely safe even on the nearby commercial street and enjoyed seeing the variety of homes and lawns as well as the cottontail rabbits! We were not far from anything that we wanted to do, and there is a lot to do around Mandan and Bismarck. The air conditioning kept the house cool, and there is a lovely front porch area to sit on if you so desire. The neighborhood was quiet, too. We had a wonderful time and had no idea just how beautiful ND is!

Location perfect. Just a few minutes from the energy power plant we worked on. Perfect setting when co workers and I need to rest upstairs as my child and wife are up down stairs… perfect sized kitchen as we had all the room we need to prep our lunches and dinner…. Few minutes to the grocery store… well warmed and the weather were freezing temperatures… parking were perfect for the vehicle coworkers and I have…’we were all comfortable well just the 2 bed in that bedroom were a little tiny to where 6’ plus tall men barely fitted… but it was ok.. we made it through…very beautiful home.. loved the style…

Lovely home

The home is charming and quaint. Very welcoming, we definitely felt at home. Our only complaint is that we didn't actually get to spend enough time there!! It was a very busy weekend.

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood

This home is beautiful! But also very spacious. We arrived with 3 teenagers and they were all pleased with the amount of room they had. The area has two nearby restaurants that we tried: Ohm’s and Copper Dog Waffles. Both were amazing! We would definitely like to book here again on our next trip to the area.

Victorian Home

Great home built in the 1920s that was in great shape. Kitchen was redone recently and the furniture was comfortable. Nice great big front deck where we spent a lot of time socializing with family.

Lovely home

This property met our needs perfectly. Well maintained 1920’s home with the character of the time. We found it to be a fairly quiet neighborhood and close to everywhere we needed to be. The owner was easy going and easy to communicate with. If we are in the area again, we would definitely rent this property again.

Just as advertised

We were here for a U of Mary graduation and it was the perfect spot for our family. Close to downtown Mandan and a short drive to the U of M campus. Plenty of room for a group of six, nice kitchen and responsive hosts. Excellent accommodations!

Excellent house!

This is a quiet neighborhood! The owners made it very easy to book and check in/out. The house is amazing and exactly as described! We didn't want to leave and will definitely book again next year when we return to Mandan!

Wonderful home & hosts!

We were traveling for youth baseball & needed a soft landing place for about a week. Mark was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions we had. There were a couple minor house issues (ie. the garbage disposal being out of order), but the homeowners were extremely upfront and the minor inconvenience caused us no issues. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone traveling. Very cozy, clean home in a wonderful location. Thanks again!
