Summary:
We have finally re-opened!

After 2 hurricanes in 2024, we have completely renovated every unit.

Everything is new again in this 1955 Historic Inn on Charlotte Harbor.

The units are a cozy 325 sq. ft. with a living area, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, and a full kitchenette.

The Sunset Inn is located on Bayshore Rd in Charlotte Harbor, walking distance to the new Sunseeker Resort.

The sunsets are stunning!

This place was so cute and perfect for the 2 of us who went! I definitely suggest staying here if you and one other person are looking for a very cute/budget friendly place to stay in Punta Gorda. 10/10 would recommend!!

Cute little place to call home for a few days!

Very clean, cute and comfy little rental! Close to the airport and only a short drive to the Gulf. Love the outdoor chairs and great area for taking a walk! Having laundry is very convenient and the rental had everything I needed. Great recommendations and directions from the management team too! Thanks for a lovely vaca!

Weekend get away

This property was perfect It was so charming and clean. We were right by the water and a bridge away from the action. It was a safe area and we could’ve walked to Fisherman’s village if we were feeling ambitious. Highly recommend!

This is exactly what we were looking for - super efficient and minimalist living at its finest. Great location - just a matter of minutes from anywhere you’d want to be. Communication between us & property manager was easy and timely. We knew exactly what to expect. We will definitely consider staying here again if we are in the area.

Perfect little condo on the harbor

This little condo is so cute. It’s clean and modern and well maintained. The area feels safe and it’s right across the street from a pier and park. I love the matching cookware and kitchen appliances and full sized refrigerator. The tv is huge and the couch and bed are comfy. Communication with the owner and manager is easy.

No frills, Clean & Relaxing Stay

No frills, clean and relaxing stay for a few days to walk, watch sunset & fish at the pier. would have liked to have a more firm mattress, but that is just my personal preference. Hope to be back again.

Perfect little condo

The Sunset Inn is my go-to VRBO when visiting family. It’s perfect for me and would be perfect for 2 also. I love the location and the pier and park right across the street. It’s clean and modernized and well stocked. Parking is easy and right in front. I did have a slight maintenance issue and all it took was a text to the manager and owner and they were Johnny-on-the-Spot with taking care of it. Communication is great. I’ll be back.

Perfect little condo

Sunset Inn is my favorite place to stay when I visit relatives in the area. It’s very clean and has everything I need. The area is beautiful with the harbor and pier a few steps from the door. I always feel safe there. I enjoy the modern appliances, the huge TV, and the easy communication with the owner and manager.

Absolutely Delightful and Perfect In Every Detail!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Sunset Inn. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The decor and amenities are very well thought out and the detail to comfort and cleanliness is evident in everything. Communication with the host was above and beyond; wished that we could have stayed longer! Exceptional stay!

Great little space

We really enjoyed our stay - Brandon was very accommodating with a late check out request. Bathroom is tiny, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for larger adults. The shower was nice, clean, and had good water pressure. Super cute, clean, tiny space in a quiet neighborhood.

Thw Sunset Ine exceaded our expectations !!!

The location was excellent close to all the main attractions. The units are like new inside and outside. Very well furnished for a longer stay if you wish to. If you don't walk across the street at sunset will regret it. Tom and his staff where very helpful with suggestions as to restaurants and places to check out during your stay. Mary and Larry

Cute little condo!

This duplex condo complex was just perfect for me. It was very clean and ultra modern. It’s small, but it had everything I needed. The TV was huge. It is not with walking distance to shops and such; but it is steps away from a little park and nice pier. The laundry is a shared facility among the 8 units. The access was easy, as was communication with the owner/manager. I would definitely- and probably will- stay there again.

The Sunset Inn is just over the bridge from Punta Gorda and down the street from the new Sun Seeker luxury resort. Across the street and in plane view of the property is the Charlotte Harbor with a 500 ft fishing pier and one of the best views of the Sunset in Charlotte county.
