The host was responsive with return email in 24 hours. We appreciated the keyless entry with code since we arrived later on check in day. The hot tub was on when we arrive, it looked nice. We had a short stay, just the weekend so we overlooked a lot of things but if you are staying longer you might not want to. The upkeep of the property was not what I expected with the word RENOVATED. The kitchen is pretty but needs a good cleaning and newer pots and pans, they are very used and scratched up. The counter tops has sticky rings and were gritty, the floors were not mop, you could see spills and our feet turned brown, so we all left shoes on. The cabinet that held the trash can was not on the track so we put the trash by the back door. Something had been spilled down the island cabinet and not cleaned. The freezer on the right needs maintenance. We left the kitchen cleaner then we found it. The light fixtures in the bathrooms were very rusted. Some showers had just the cloth decretive curtain and no liner and one had only a plastic liner. The bathroom with just the liner has paint peeling at the top of the shower. The door knob to the bathroom in the shared main floor bed and bath was loose along with a few others, the stair tread has screws all through it, was surprised at that. There were old cigarette butts in the driveway by the fence and in the yard. Not sure what was renovated. Maintenance said they would fix issues once we left, so should be good for the next guest.
