Summary:
Funstays Glamping! Enjoy the camping and outdoor experience in the comforts of this Park Model Cabin!

Located at Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins, this Cabin is setup and ready to use upon arrival. We own and manage the park along with the Cabin and we have an onsite staff for anything needed, just like a hotel.

Located 40 minutes northeast of Durango, CO, Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins is a quiet, full amenity campground in The Vallecito Lake Community. Our park is nestled in The San Juan National Forest and backs up to the mountains. The park is a short drive to Vallecito Lake and surrounded by great hiking trails and outdoor activities. Our amenities include a dining hall for group events, game room with parlor games (pool tables, air hockey, darts), basketball court, horseshoe pit, ping pong table, and a great outdoor pavilion. We offer multiple cabins, park apartments, and pre-setup RV's for rent. We are a perfect launching point for endless outdoor fun with amenities to keep you and your kids busy when back at the park.

A personal gas grill, picnic table, and firepit are setup outside your cabin for the optimal camping experience!

The Space:

This rental has 1 bedroom, 1 bath and sleeps 4.
This rental includes:
• 1 queen bed in the bedroom. 1 futon that folds out to a full bed in living room
• All bedding and towels are provided
• Bath soap, shampoo, and dish soap are provided
• Fully stocked kitchen to cook your own meals which includes basic cookware, flatware, dishes & glassware.
• Free Cable TV. Free Wifi sufficient for email, zoom calls and social media. Streaming can be a challenge when the park is busy.
• AC & Furnace
• Full Bathroom. (RV Park also has Communal Bathrooms w/additional showers if needed.)
• Standard Coffee Maker w/filters
• Personal firepit, picnic table & gas grill outside rental (propane provided for grill, firewood for sale at park)
• On site coin operated laundry room

Requirements to Rent:
• Park quiet hours of 9pm-7am is enforced
• No smoking, no bikes inside
• Not required, but we kindly ask you to remove shoes while in the rental, particularly in carpeted areas
• No more than two licensed vehicles of any type are permitted per site.
• Extra parking for vehicles and trailers is available but not guaranteed. Please reach out to us to arrange prior to arrival.

Didn’t stay very long but amazing stay

We didn’t stay to long due to just being there for a friends wedding, the area surrounding the cabin is definitely beautiful, not really anything to do or eat around the area except one restaurant/store. But the Blue Spruce RV Park and Cabins made up for it completely. They have a small market with food, drinks and supplies you will need, friendly staff that are helpful and have a FREE dvd shelf you can use to keep yourself entertained since there isn’t a lot to do. They definitely understand the issues of the area and take the initiative to try and help where they can would definitely stay again!

Affordable cute cabin. Loved the gas fireplace. So nice to show up to a lighted, toasty place waiting just for you. I was a little sad that there was no access to the pool table and store, although it is mid November.

What an amazing cute quaint little cabin! The location is perfect, nestled deep in the mountains. Upon entering the cabin, there was a wonderful smell of freshness and it had a very good "homey" smell to it as well. It was super clean and the bed was so comfy and the sheets/bedding were fresh. It had everything you need to cook with as well. The fireplace and space heaters were more than plenty to keep warm. It was perfect for my family of 3. I didn't want to leave. The nature surrounding the cabin was superb. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for an amazing getaway!!!

Amazing hidey hole

My husband and I stayed here with a friend of ours from Ignacio and oh my goodness was it lovely!! The cabin was perfect and just the right size for three people. Love having a little kitchen. Very clean and supplies were easy to find. PERFECT little winter get away! We also had a day of ice fishing and had a blast!!

Cabin in San Juan Mountains

The cabin is located in a camp ground with RV parked next to the cabins. Very little privacy. I kept the blinds drawn the whole time. The cabin was fine just needed a little love and care. My only complaint was that the smoke detector did not work. The cabin does not have center heating. Electric heater are provided and they provide sufficient heat. The cabin had an electric fire place also not in working order.

Quiet and beautiful

I had decided to take my young family to this little getaway cabin nestled in beautiful mountain country away from the busyness of other cities and towns in the area. It was great, clean, quiet, and the people there are absolutely wonderful. We can’t wait to stay there again! 😊
